Disgusting hotel. Do not book!

Everything. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE EXTREMELY ILL AFTER! Not a family place at all. Smelt like cigarettes as soon as we arrived. Unclean - had urine stains on the bed and walls. Half the amenities were broken. The AC did not work and the staff does not speak any English. They will refuse you a refund if you complain. Completely unsafe for children. And extremely difficult to get in and out if you have luggage, kids and elderly as hotel is uphill and tight street. Felt extremely unsafe as soon as we arrived and the lift only fits one person at a time. You can hear everything from the top floor and there is no reception. They have placed a table in the middle of nowhere. Bedsheets were ripped and evening smelled. Had not been cleaned. I have dust mite bites everywhere on my body after staying here for only 1 hour.

DONT BOOK HERE!

NOTHING AT ALL! DO NOT STAY HERE! The photos are totally misleading and the rooms are extremely dirty and gross!

EVERYTHING! What an horrible experience! I feel that the advertisement for this holiday apartment is very misleading. The name as shown on the internet does not reflect on the wall outside. The reception area is tatty and not nice at all. I’m fact we felt extremely uncomfortable as ladies. The cleaning products and a very dirty cot for a baby is standing in the passage. The door to the apartment is very tight and difficult to open. The kitchen is dirty with crockery not being packed away in the cupboards. No kettle to make coffee. A snackwicher a pot and one plate stove are standing on the floor. The shower is not working properly and is dirty on the inside. The floor is dusty around the bed. The linen seems clean but very old with holes in it. For merely a little less than a 3 or 4 star hotel which I cancelled because of the advertisement which says sea view and private balcony, this is clearly not up to standard. I can deal with the location and the very steep hill but I definitely expected a neater and better kept place for this price. I am going to look for alternative accommodation tomorrow and would like to request a refund.

Penthouse

We stayed in penthouse, the view was amazing.The room was good.and I do recommend to stay there. of course if U don't afraid of walking up the hill😜 but that doesn't bother us.we know that already we book the room.The location is so good.So we did enjoy our stay there.

The room and bathroom needs little renovations.And some more lights.But overall was good stay

Parking was just in front, stuff was helpfull, tram station just 20steps ahead, carefour very near.it was almost perfect.i recommend it.

It was not valuable for the price.

The location was very good. The staffs were very kind and helpful. The staffs allowed us to do check-in in the morning. They were responsive.

It was a dirty old building. The pillows and blankets were too dirty. There were always smell of sewage well. The kitchen equipments were not in good condition.

A scenic sea view from the penthouse balcony

This is the best location to roam around, very close to Galata tower, tram / metro station. Staff is helpful and ready to support for required items. We lived in penthouse on 6th floor, bosphorus view from the balcony is the best thing in the property.

Room was small. Some lights were not working, cooking stove is not enough for full fledged cooking just fine for heating. But staff tried to help.

The owner is very helpful and decent The location is perfect, but the only negative thing is that it is on a steep hill, but it is the nature of the area for all buildings

positive experience. if I stay in Rajani will definitely stay here again

the location and view were amazing…we got the higher floor so loved the view. staff was helpful! We had taken the basic room on the ground floor earlier but later on upgraded to the superior room because of the view. lift was available which is a plus in Turkey. also location was near from Tahsim square. also while going downhill there’s a great breakfast stall- sandwich maker, who stands on the corner towards the train stop.

the property is located in the middle of a slope, this is the only small negative point. but still I would come again coz it’s a cozy area. not crowded. and very near from the sea

Superb

Host staff are incredibly helpful and nice (Thank to Mr. Saber), wifi is really good, they provide water as much as you want free of charge, AC in both rooms, the location is wonderful (access to Taksim on foot, so close to Tophane tramva station), we really liked the view of sea and ships

I feel like they should renew some stuff such as cushions and mattresses. They look old. As there is a slope, maybe the property is good for those who can walk properly

The view from the rooftop is incredible and really made our trip. The staff were excellent and really attentive and helpful and friendly. An all round excellent accommodation and a really great stay.
