Hervorragendes Resort

Die Lage und die Struktur des Resorts sind hervorragend. Wir waren in einer der freistehenden Villen zu Gast und der Blick auf die weißen Gipfel des Kaukasus waren jeden Morgen ein Genuss. Die Villen selbst sind großzügig und passen sich in ihrem rustikalen Stil sehr gut in die Umgebung ein. Weiterhin haben wir verschiedene Spa-Anwendungen genießen dürfen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt sehr gut.

Wir waren im Herbst zu Gast, d.h das Wasser wurde bereits aus den Outdoor-Pools abgelassen, was vollkommen in Ordnung ist. Meiner Meinung nach sollten die Becken aus Sicherheitsgründen abgedeckt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass niemand versehentlich hereinfällt. Das Interieur ist zum Teil schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Einen Besuch wert, gern wieder

Tolle Anlage, könnte aber langsam etwas überarbeitet werden, viele Kleinigkeiten trüben den Eindruck etwas. Die Kellerführung und Weinprobe waren sehr schön, auch gute Weine. Das SPA war das Beste seit langem! Die Damen waren super nett und kompetent, wir haben es sehr genossen. Alle Angestellten waren super, es ist aber schwer für ganz junge Leute, wenn sie gleich mit einfachen Kenntnissen in Englisch im Restaurant an die Gäste ran müssen, gönnen Sie ihnen bitte mehr Einarbeitung.

Kleinigkeiten, die ein organisiertes Housekeeping schnell im Griff hätte… Fast nur defekte Sonnenschirme am Pool sollten/ müssen nicht sein.

Amazing location

Location couldn’t have been better.Serene and peaceful amidst vast stretches of vines.The villas are very spacious.Their wines are delicious. Sandro at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and professional.The driver Joseph arranged by the hotel who picked us up and dropped us to Tbilisi is an exceptionally helpful and kind person.I can say he is the best human being we came across in Georgia.

Breakfast needs improvement as per the standard of the hotel.It’s very basic.Toiletries provided in the villas are absolutely substandard and full of harmful chemicals.A more eco friendly organic option should be considered.Most of the hotel staff require training in manners,etiquettes and politeness.I understand language is a barrier but basic human behaviour remains same across the world.

Nice Place to stay!

The hotel and the land around it is beautiful. We got an upgrade to a very nice room, with a great view, which was absolutely great. You have an hourly option of having a little your and wine tasting, the wines they make are great! Most of the staff was really nice, too.

It lacked a bit of love to details for the price you pay, like no cushions on the deck chairs at the indoor and outdoor pools and outside lounge areas. The food was good, but also not as great as you would expect from a place like this.

Красивое место для теплого сезона

Большой коттедж с камином, красивый вид

На вилле отключено отопление, при том что температура на улице ночью опускалась до 0 градусов. Работающие во всю мощь кондиционеры и зажженный камин так и не сделали дом достаточно теплым и уютным. Вероятно, для теплого сезона это будет неактуально. Скудный завтрак, пара полупустых лотков, зато есть игристое и чача.

Complimentary Sparking Wine During the Breakfast is Insane!

We had simply amazing staying at Schuchmann. This is real wine paradise and I'll explain why: Imagine, you arrive at this beautiful chateau, surrounded by vineyards and Caucasus mountain's view. After Check-in we had amazing opportunity to join free wine tour and wine tasting, which was provided for free. We learnt a lot about different wine making technology and after that I had an amazing experience at wine spa where you relax and lay in the red wine bath! it was insane! and that's not all, I want to highlight breakfast: here free Champagne is included: we enjoyed with fresh and healthy breakfast with glass of Champagne and looked to amazing morning view to the picturesque mountains. It is just an unforgettable wine experience you must try in you visit Kakheti wine region.

Superb

The cottages have amazing view and are nicely spread out on a large estate with two swimming pools. The restaurant is very nice and fairly priced. It is tranquil and beautiful. Great weekend gataway spot.

The lights in our living room were not working. The staff couldn't come up with a solution, not even candles. When we asked for candles they brought some. When my sister stayed there a couple of weeks ago they got a named bottle of wine on checkout and we didn't:)

Lots of problems around the edges, but overall potential to be a very nice property

The property grounds are pretty nice with a few pools around, and a game room, but the actual vines don't seem more for show however as the main growing area is quite a distance from the property. The wine tour was great, and a good highlight of the visit. The onsite restaurant for lunch and dinner is very good, some of the best Georgian food we've had on our trip.

The first night we didn't have hot water (or any water in our villa, number 7, at times) and after reporting it, communication wasn't near non-existent. The gym is some left over home equipment and not really something I would classify as being fit for purpose as most of the equipment was broken/missing. Breakfast was pretty limited and a bit of a disappointment. The price for the experience seems quite high for the property not to be more perfected. I can only imagine most of the reviews are probably a travelers high.

Overpriced but with beautiful views

The location is great, the view from our rooms was amazing! The food is also good.

It seems like everything is getting old in the hotel. The AC was soooo loud, even with door closed we could hear it. The exhaust fan in the toilet was also super noicy. The pools were big enough but not taken care of. We had to walk around to find clean tables to use it for our things. Some chairs were broken and towels - worn out. The room was clean but not super comfortable, if the hotel was cheaper, I would say it was okay, but not in this price range.

Loved the scenery and the staff, they were so friendly, and the complementary wine tasting by the sommelier before and during dinner was absolutely fantastic, one of the best we had in Georgia!

The room facilities were a bit dated and Google maps led us through a grave yard we almost got stuck in on the way because they hadn’t updated their entrance properly on maps so would be great if they could do that so future guests don’t get lost..

blissful wine country retreat

We rented a villa and this was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed at! The villa was big - two bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large living room and kitchen, very nicely decorated, surrounded by vineyards, and with a view of the mountains in the distance. There are 3 swimming pools on the property (2 outdoor, 1 indoor), little hot tubs (that weren’t quiet as hot as we’d like), winery/restaurant, spa (we did wine soak followed by a massage - very relaxing!) the stay includes free tour/wine tasting and a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!
