Frühstück ist super. Das Camp ist sehr liebevoll ausgestattet und sauber.

Leuk concept om kort te verblijven met tieners.

Zeer leuk concept om kort te verblijven. De gezamelijke wc ruimte en douchen vielen heel goed mee, alles was proper en ruim. De caravan vonden wij supertof, wel heel warm ook met de ventilatie. Maar het was dan ook een hete periode. Goed dat er ventilatoren voorzien zijn. Het ontbijt was ruim voldoende. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De verlichting in de caravan was minimaal. Gelukkig zijn er tegenwoordig gsm toestellen om bij te lichten.

Eine andere Art der Unterkunft

Das Übernachten im Base Camp lebt von dem Erlebnis. Es muss jedem klar sein, dass es kein klassisches Hotel ist und man in bestimmten Bereichen (Platz und Lautstärke) Abstriche machen muss. Wenn einen das nicht stört, ist das eine wirklich interessante Unterkunft. Wir hatten das Tiny House vor der Halle mit eigener Toilette und Dusche, Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es auch. Das Personal ist sehr nett.

Das Tiny House ist schon etwas abgewohnt und die Kissen sind eine Katastrophe. Es ist alles extrem eng im TinyHouse, darauf muss man sich einstellen. Etwas mehr Auswahl bei dem rein vegetarischen Frühstück wäre schön. Da kann das Hotel nichts für, nur als Info ganz praktisch: Vor dem Hotel, wenn man Richtung Bonn möchte, ist eine Bahnschranke, die seeehr lange unten ist und das sehr oft.

Nah am perfekten Ort

Tolles Personal, geniale Einrichtung top Frühstück

Es ist viel verlangt, aber ein großzügiger Luftdurchlass zB mit langsam laufenden Lüftern von mindestens 2 Metern Durchmesser zur Belüftung der Halle und die Liegenschaft wäre perfekt!!! Dies soll keine Kritik an der Luftqualität sein, die ist gut.

Tolles Ambiente, welches eine Wiederkehr wahrscheinlich macht.

Die Idee dahinter ist sehr cool und alles sieht optisch sehr gut aus. Nachts ist es ruhig und das Bett war bequem. Saubere Handtücher und frische Bettwäsche wurden gratis gestellt.

Das buchbare Frühstück ist "nur" vegetarisch. Leider gibt es da außer Käse keinen Aufschnitt. Man kann auch vegan frühstücken, aber auch da hat man keine große Auswahl. Dank Hühnereier, Marmeladen und Humus-Aufstrichen konnte man aber trotzdem satt werden.

Lustiges Ambiente mit viel zu entdecken

Sehr cooles Ambiente! Die Ausstattung war unkonventionell und sauber.

Nachtruhr ab 22 Uhr ist nicht so toll aber nachvollziehbar!

Außergewöhnlich und ungewöhnlich

Wer nicht ein klassisches Hotelzimmer möchte, sondern eine Art außergewöhnliches Indoor Camping Gefühl, der wird hier fündig. Super Frühstücksbuffet und entspanntes Personal.

Tolles Ambiente, sauberer Sanitärbereich. Insgesamt ein gelungenes Projekt

In den Wohnwagen darf man nicht allzu empfindlich sein, da hier kaum eine absolute Sauberkeit möglich ist.

breakfast is quite late in my opinion. I had to leave at 7 am and breakfast is only around 7:30 or 8 am (depending if it is weekend).

Rail carriage room at a unique venue.

Base Camp Bonn is a unique place to stay, with character a plenty and individual 'rooms'. Train carriages have a window to outside. Great to be able to get a beer and have it in the garden.

Curious place but just to visit

We liked the atmosphere of this place as well as the design and idea It was a curious place to stay for one night

The beds were really uncomfortable, the room is very small, there was no toilet nearby, the showers were covered only by a curtain It was very humid and hot in the room during the day and very cold in the night, there was only a small fan and heating (didn't work) The walls are very thin, you can hear people clicking light switches very well. Beds are squeaky.

We booked 3 nights and stayed only 1 night.

The idea and the styling were very cool. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice.

We couldn’t sleep because the mattresses were too thin in the train wagon. It wasn’t very clean and the wagon smelled.

Great night in this wonderful place

The theme of the hostel, the warmth of the employees, the quality of breakfast, bathroom really clean.

Everything is relative, included the "youth" part of the hostel. Mostly families and retired people.

Super Fun and Unique Place to Stay

This is such a cool and unique hostel! Many accommodation options and free breakfast in the morning was fantastic. I wish I had stayed more than one night!!

A nice concept, recommended!

Shared toilet/bath might be difficult in the mornings and at nights 😬 but it's concept, just a reminder for people to think twice about it ahhaha The rooms in the wagon are small for me, next time I will book a van.

The location is great, very close to the UN campus and many public transport lines. The vibes are auper unique and it is a very fun experience

Some of the furniture items within the "space shuttle" would need to be updated (one of the closet doors doesn't open, the inside lining is a bit rough), other than that very comfy

Enjoyable stay. The Airstream mobile home I stayed in was spacious and the bed was comfy.

From the moment I walked inside, the novelty of the building and the attention to detail when designing the caravans made me smile. The place seems very well set up for groups of travellers. Short, flat walk or bike ride from the train station. I’d recommend for a short stay - for me I stayed one night before continuing on my train.

Be realistic about what you’re going to get - if you don’t normally like staying in campervans / sleeper trains, you’re not going to enjoy this. That said - normally staying in campervans doesn’t come with large, clean communal toilets and showers.

amazing place!

Such a cool place - I wanted to book this place as soon as I heard about it and it didn't disappoint. Stayed in one of the train carriages which was great fun. The caravans look very cool too. Had worried it might be noisy at night but not at all.

There seemed to be more rooms available than the website suggested but maybe that was due to last-minute cancellations. May be worth calling if you have specific dates you want to stay that say they are unavailable online.

Very good

Very nice location, close to the U-Bahn to the city center of Bonn. The staff is also very friendly.

It might be nice to be able to lock your compartment (in the train) from the inside, now you can only lock it from the outside, so you sleep with the doors 'open'.
