Not the worst but pretty shabby - stay only if you have to.

Let's face it, Atsugi is a miserable hole of a city anyway and you would only go there if you had to, so not expecting much. The hotel is clean enough but really dated and quite musty smelling. Very tired/tatty room and bathroom. Probably been in need of a refurbishment for well over a decade. The offerings at breakfast are a bit depressing (save the money and walk 2 minutes to Aeon or somewhere else nearby for breakfast). We were only allowed one room key. Asked for a second but was refused! First time ever in the world we've been told we can't have a second room key. Decided to take the stairs one time from the 10th floor. The stairway was full of upended beds, mattresses and other furniture. That must be illegal and or a fire/evaluation hazard. Just as well Japan never has earthquakes!

The free wifi didn’t work in my room. My room was a bit grubby. I expected it to be in better condition. Quite noisy at times - other guests banging doors.

The room is spacious with standard deco. The staff in the counter is helpful.

We will stay at The Rembrandt again on our next trip to Japan.

Great location to everything; shopping, dining, train station, etc. Old building but the owners invested money to update though out the building. Loved the clean room and very comfortable beds, fluffy bedspreads and 2 quality pillows on each bed.

The bathroom needs to be ventilated better.

The Rembrandt is my first choice in Atsugi.

I stay here for the breakfast. The rooms are older but clean.

I was disappointed in the new look of the hotel bar. I will miss the traditional feel of the previous bar.

Old Nostalgic Hotel slowly fading away

The location was good, easy to find The Reception was very kind, professional and helpful

Probably used to be a very luxurious Hotel in the 70/80s. You can feel that nostalgic atmosphere (quite common in Japan) with old furnitures and decorations. The bathroom was clean but the core maintenance and details that guests can see haven't been taking care of since a long time... (Mold on door's frame and ventilation, broken hinges). I understand Covid hits hard for Hotel Industry, but I would like to recommend to just fix and repair few critical points, because it still has a lot of charm

It’s an older hotel with good reputation.

Easy booking. We took a COVID gamble and did the Hokkaido dinner buffet. We were almost first in and Definitely First Out! Good food, but COVID!

Rooms are getting old. We wiped down everything with alcohol wipes and found several dirty areas.

Great hotel with rich breakfasts, everything is available- loundry, cofe and tea facilities, toiletries. We are glad that choosed this hotel! Thanks a lot to always friendly staff 🙏

Superb

Breakfast is really good and the bar is comfortable and relaxing.

The rooms are a bit tired but they do have big windows which is rare in Japan.
