Sehr nahe gelegen

Breakfast was great and the staff were helpful. The two pools and "hot" tub were nice. Staff was able to arrange a taxi led tour for us on our last day that saved us a ton of money.
I do wish they had mini fridges in the units. Having cold water and drinks after a 90 degree day would be a plus. Instead they have a shared fridge on the ground floor that gets locked every night at 8pm.

Staff is friendly
Centrally located
Some rooms have sea view
We paid ~250$ a night and the basics were not there:
- the bed was not comfortable, we were falling in the middle and slept very badly for the full stay. Bedsheets were too small for the bed and pillows were stained
- limited level of service: no wifi in rooms, no blackout curtains, basic shower with low pressure, showergel was empty and never replenished, room smells old and humid. No water provided in the room you need to go to reception to fill it everyday
Overall: felt like a hostel with basic comfort

This is is an paradise to stay at. All the staff are super friendly. The room we had was on second floor with a balcony the coolest place to watch a sunset with sea lions leaping infront of your eyes and pelicans landing, it was like paradise. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was nice and great touch to have water to fill up your bottles or make a cup of tea and a large fridge to keep milk and we had our own hot sauce for eggs at breakfast. The bonus was a swimming pool a yes two swimming pools each with a plunge pool. The balcony with its hammock was one of the highlights. Loved sharing stories with the staff such as one lady's husband his farm literally make the yoghurt for the hotel.....Thank you that we were able to use your towels for the beach saved us buying towels that we would not take home
Maybe better communication that one could order eggs any style rather than just have the set breakfast buffet but we learnt pretty quickly. Would suggest having a hose or bucket to wash sand off before going upstairs, the showers by the pool did not seem to work so a foot bath would be a really good idea.

Great location right at the waterfront and walking distance to everything in town. A lovely view when eating breakfast on the veranda. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Location excellent. Views great.

the property was lovely, spacious, clean, inviting and overall a lovely way to spend our last few days relaxing especially with the two pools offered.
veryyyy minor and is expected in most resorts on the island but there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. we feel like there could be some Wi-Fi extenders rather than sitting in the breakfast area being eaten by mosquitoes after a lovely evening out in the island and wanting to catching up with family back home.

perfect location, nice views and friendly staff
breakfast was not the best, the pool areas are a bit tired, but the beach is right there. we would book again despite this.

Great staff good base

The hotel manager was wonderful - went totally above and beyond. Very happy to give advice about sightseeing and arrange taxis. She even lent our kids her family's boogie board to take to the beach!
The rooms we were in were very disappointing. Several steps down from ground level, so dark and a basement feel. Water damage on the ceiling, peeling paint, and across from the kitchen so very loud at 6 am when the staff started to prepare breakfast. Nothing like the balconies with hammocks and sea views posted onlne that led us to book this hotel. The pool did not look very clean. Front desk is only staffed during the day so it took longer than expected to get a few issues resolved like no shampoo in the room. The crib they gave us was broken and unsafe.

Excellent place. We only stayed one evening while awaiting our lev-aboard dive boat, but the hospitality was wonderful. Easy access to San Cristobal shopping, restaurants, the pier, etc. Quiet pool for kicking back in early evening. WiFi was a bit spotty, but enabled essential access when needed.

The location was very handy and had lovely sea views. Breakfast was very tasty. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The water dispenser was quite slow at dispensing water.

Breakfast and the location was great! the servers at breakfast were so sweet and did a fabulous job. As did the exceptional man who checked us in and constantly asked how our stay was going:-) Though we won’t come again due to the management and blatant lying.
My group of 5 booked two rooms, one triple and one quadruple room. When we arrived the man with the long hair who checked us in was absolutely lovely, greeted us with fresh cold juice and showed us to our rooms. The quadruple room was in the first building and the triple room was in the second building “Pinzón”. Both rooms were fine, but the triple room in the second building had ants and other insects in the tub and on the floor / walls throughout our first nights stay. After seeing the quadruple room which had wooden accents, nicer lighting accents, Casa Optunia embroidered towels and special shampoos and conditioner we were a little confused by the plain towels, basic lighting, plain non-labeled shampoos / conditioners, bugs, etc in our other room. When walking along the pier / dock we saw a seemingly new sign (pictured) that said Hostal Pinzón on the closed off entrance to the second building and a similar sign (also pictured) that said Casa Optunia on the entrance to the first building. I was again confused, as I paid $141/night + tax for a triple room in Casa Optunia. When I googled Hostal Pinzón, their Airbnb confirming it was a Hostal with some private rooms for $85/ night (see pictures of Airbnb screenshots). This makes sense since there are two different Wi-Fi systems one for Pinzón and one for Optunia. When I approached Tatiana the manager and simply asked if Pinzón was a Hostal she was immediately defensive and said no, that it was part of the hotel, and that the sign was extremely old and incorrect. She also had us come look at her booking system to show that it was all one hotel. She then said in her years of being here no one had complained and said the first building was nicer than the first. She kept saying how modern the second building was. Honestly, the flooring was the only modern thing in that room. The bathrooms were extremely outdated, the faucet worked half of the time, and the shower had little pressure.

the location is great, the hotel itself is very pretty and has a lot of amenities, plus the staff is very friendly and ready to help!
the only thing I would add is somewhere to hang the wet bathing suits in the bathroom 😅

Staff here are wonderful and take very good care of you. Little things like the kitchen staff seeing me come down the steps in the morning and having a cup of coffee ready for me. 10 out of 10 and 5 stars. I would absolutely stay here again
Can't really say I didn't like anything

Tatiana was excellent, she greeted us with welcome drinks and took us to our room with ocean view, the room was clean, beds were comfortable and it had a balcony with a hammock so it was very relaxing. The hotel was located close to town so you could walk anywhere, but not so close that the noises from town were a problem, the only noises you heard were the waves and the sea lions. Breakfast was very good, the person that served it was excellent as well. Best hotel in we have stayed in the islands.
Nothing all wonderful

The hotel and staff could not have been more convenient. We relaxed by the pool before we walked to three different beaches for snorkeling. We were steps away from the cutest little town in the Galapagos, Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. Thanks for everything, Tatiana!

From the moment we arrived to when we left, Marina, Tatiana, n the staff was awesome. The husband n wife making n serving breakfast were wonderful n friendly. The location is great, walk everywhere in town. The pools were relaxing. Rooms were spacious n comfortable.
There wasn't much as it is a beautiful relaxing island BnB. The hot tubs didn't work n a couple black beetles in my bed.
