Great front beach hotel - with supper comfortable beds!

The location was amazing, just in front of the beach. Walkable to everything you need. The breakfast was nice, with the lovely pool view. They have a great view for the sunset on the rooftop. Also, guys who works there always been kind and helpful. Wifi so so… not so bad but should be improved.

Very nice place!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were super nice, helpful and welcoming! The check in went smooth, the place is beautiful, very clean and quite.

The breakfast is very basic.

Fantastic stay at Isabela

Hotel is located just opposite the beautiful beach. The attention from the staff was great! Very nice rooms with attention to the details. Breakfast was good, pool was an added bonus.

Great hotel with a good location and super staff.

The location was next to the beach and also to the center of the village. The staff at the reception was extraordinary friendly, helpful and competent.

Wifi was weak in the room.

Superb

Beautiful room with a stunning view. Nice poolside courtyard and upper sitting area looking out over the ocean. Staff were friendly and helpful getting tours and taxis booked. Location is very good. Close to everything.

Pictures made it seem like the hotel was isolated by itself. It is nestled amongst others. Street light out front and those around town made star gazing difficult.

The hotel itself lovely , room nice and big and air conditioning works great. Right on the beach too. Unfortunately on o

big rooms, right by the sea and main centre of town. air conditioning works amazing

one staff member in particular accused us of not paying for breakfast before checking our file. we had it included. this made us feel uncomfortable.

Cool place to sleep, service was not good.

The hotel was beautiful, it was clean and room service did a good job, despite all the sand. There was a nice pool area. The bathroom was amazing very spacious and well designed.

Front desk was disorganized. I paid for bottles of water with cash, the girl told me I was all set. When I went to check out they told me I owed money for the water still. I told them I paid, but the girl said I didn’t they couldn’t find the money and made me pay again. They added a random charge for bar consumables something I didn’t use.

The staff is exceptional, the location is excellent, big room, beach-front. I would move here if I could. They made me a cake for my birthday and when I had to leave at 5am to catch the ferry, they sent me off with a boxed breakfast. Loved my experience.

Exceptional

Great location right in town near all the restaurants and tour companies. Super clean, beautiful ocean view, and overall just wonderful. Every staff member is incredibly nice and helpful. They even walked with us to the place we needed to go buy return ferry tickets to Santa Cruz and stayed to make sure we got everything correctly!

We would stay here again!

The hotel and the personnel who run it are just wonderful. It's on the pricey end for hotels here, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

As in a lot of Galapagos, hot water in the shower is hit and miss.

Great hotel with an awesome staff--highly recommended!

Hotel Albemarle is a great hotel and I can't recommend it enough. Tim the owner, a New Zealander, is a cool dude and the hotel staff is great and highly attentive. Juliette in particular helped me with every aspect of my trip, from booking dinners and activities as well as making me feel welcome as a solo traveler. I had a great time, and look forward to returning and exploring more of the Galapagos Islands :)

The only thing that could have been better was the wi-fi/data. I was on vacation and technically trying to "disconnect," but in my role as a financial market participant I have to at least have some semblance of what is going on in the markets. However, this is not the hotel's fault nor anyone on staff there. Data and being hyper-connected to the outside world is just not a high priority in the Galapagos Islands. So for people coming to truly disconnect, this can be a godsend. However, if you at the very least need to check in on email and price data, be prepared for some very slow data/wi-fi feeds...
