Way overpriced, very dirty and overall bad.

It was at a good location, close to the city of Rhodes, and the beach was just a few hundred meters away. The staff was somewhat friendly and helpful, and the evening programmes for the kids were good. The pools were nice and cold. They changed the bedsheets and towels every 2-3 days. We could stay in the hotel and use the pool as well after checking-out.

The room we stayed in was bad, the bathroom stank like sewers which we could smell in the beds, and we couldn’t get rid of the smell. The bathrooms were terrible, small and the toilet was basically unusable. The other toilets near the hotel lobby were bad as well, no toilet paper, no handwash, no hand towels. The breakfasts were good, but the dinners were really poor considering the price. There were foods that were the same for three days!! The menu offerings were poor, usually there was 1-2 main dishes, and the others were plain basic salads. There were days, when there was only one lactose free dish. At dinner they charge you for drinks, roughly 1dl of fruit juice is 2€! It was a very unpleasant experience, never again!

Ok, bit the room was too small.

The pool was nice, not busy and people didn’t reserve sun beds.

Advertised as free wifi: this didn’t work so they gave us free ‘paid’ passwords, but if you didn’t use them for 5 minutes, it would log you out ! The room was TINY and dark. Exposed electrics.

Très bon rapport qualité prix et propreté irréprochable

“J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel qui était très bien entretenu et d’une propreté impeccable !, offrant un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Le personnel était attentif et serviable, et l’hôtel disposait de toutes les commodités nécessaires. Malgré des petits inconvénients, mon séjour dans l’ensemble était agréable. De plus, le restaurant proposant un buffet à volonté qui était à la hauteur du prix demandé, mais il ne faut pas s’attendre à une grande cuisine raffinée. Bon séjour au Romantza Mare 😉👍

j’ai été déçu que certaines chambres aient une terrasse donnant sur les entrées des autres chambres et sur une cour intérieure sans verdure. De plus, ma chambre ne correspondait pas totalement aux commodités indiquées lors de la réservation. Par exemple, la bouilloire n’était pas présente et il n’y avait qu’une seule prise disponible pour la télévision et le frigo, ce qui nécessitait de jongler entre les appareils et Terrasse avec vue sur le jardin inexistant.

Wir wären gerne länger geblieben...

Es war ein schönes Zimmer mit griechischem Flair und überdachtem Balkon - sogar mit Meerblick. Parken ist unkompliziert und kostenlos, auch eine Bushaltestelle und diverse Supermärkte sind in der Nähe. Frühstück und Abendessen unserer Halbpension waren weit besser als erwartet, das Personal ausnehmend freundlich.

Die stets größer werdende Lücke zwischen den Matratzen. Dem Bad würde eine Renovierung gut tun.

Superb

Very helpful and nice staff. Even though we had some issues coming on time due to cancelled flight and was a non- refundable reservation, they kept it for us and made us feel important and did everything to have a wonderful vacation. Staff always ready to help with smile on their faces, cleaning the room every single day, and the Moldavian Lady from reception was always there to help us with an advice. Would definitely recommend it to other people as well.

Prefect value and beautiful Cyclades style all over the hotel premises

Big area and garden plus two pools make you enjoy the time in the hotel premises. Staff are very friendly and it is great to find such a family business in the area. Convenient supermarket and a taverna belong to the complex. My kids loved the playground of the taverna! They could play safely while waiting for the food. Rooms are quiet and calm for sleeping. Bus stop and pharmacy are at the corner. Rhodos town, Kallithea springs and Faliraki Water Park are all in a 10 minute bus ride.

Hotel mostly accommodates Slavic tourists with various attitudes. I hate soft beds but this was so hard that got me a painful neiritis for the whole week and I could hardly enjoy any physical activity for most of my stay. Food is tasty and a lot but Taverna Caldera (of the hotel) offers much better food.

Good hotel for families but air conditioning is very poor.

Good swimming pools, especially for kids. Location is good in a quiet area, within good access to Rhodes town. Breakfast is great.

Air conditioning was a joke. Our room was like sauna. It was very difficult to sleep because of the poor air condition. Never had such a bad air conditioning in other hotels in Rhodes.

Perfect

Everything. Breakfast was awesome. There is nothing which you may add, nothing, because there is such a huge choice. Service was at the very best standard. The rooms were cleaned every day, even more it is needed :-) The swimming pools were greaaat. The bar outside with delicious drinks. The restaurant one minute from the hotel with very good food. Really everything was brilliant. I travel a lot and I really think it was one of the best hotels I have visited. At first, I thought if I should choose it, because it has few bad opinions. Do NOT trust them!!! If you need sth just ask...they will do it for you.

Great price and location!

It was clean, the area is nicely kept and the pool is clean. The half board dinner was great and there were usually three mains to choose from along with cheeses, breads, cold meat and pudding. The staff made us feel like family and we want to come back again.

It is a 3 star hotel but all is clean and food is great so nothing.

Exceptional

The most unusual and unique few days. It was the start of the season and I was the only guest on day one. I am elderly and the staff were so concerned that I could manage the numerous pathways, but each group of steps also had a safety ramp and hand rail. No problems at all. The beautiful room had a welcome bottle of wine, and everything was immaculately clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast and I was joined by a gentleman from London,so we had plenty to chat about. Unfortunately not warm enough for me to swim, but it was lovely to look at the large pool. I look forward to my next. visit. Thankyou everyone for a lovely relaxing experience jk

greek standard at its worse

The room itself is ok. The things that i didn't like ware: - air conditioner when it was on was dripping in the room - the bathroom was awful the bathetube was broken, the curthens were to short so the bathroom was all wet on the flor. - the towelwes ware stained very old and used We were 3 persons 2 adoults and 1 child and only got 2 smal towels no big ones the second day. - the shets on the bed were staind and had bloode stains on them. one of the beds smeld like some one peed on it and it smeld bad. The ther ware 2 pilows that wen you put your head down it smeld like pee.

We stayed for just one night and that was enough… A better room should make all the difference.

Nice pool. Ok breakfast.

We got a room that hade no blinds or curtains. A pale, sharp light from a wall mounted luminare shone directly into our room. Felt ghostly during night. Almost like a mourge in an horror movie :o Not every room are like that of course. We hade a 2 room apartment and the AC where placed in one of the rooms which make one of the rooms freezing cold and the other one hot. Unfortunately not a pleasant stay for us.

We had a great time at Romantza Mare!

Great location on the east cost, close to Rodos and all the best beaches. Bus stop "on the door" very convenient. Also supermarket and wonderful restaurant belong to the Hotel. Very nice and quiet ambience, 5 minutes walking distance from the beach. the staff is amazing, every one is so nice and helpful, they are doing their best to help with everything and alwayes with a smile. they also advice with trips and help with car rentals and taxi.very nice Bar by the swimming pool

Breakfast is nice but pretty much the same every day (maybe deferent on Saturday). Shower can be better
