Relaxing atmosphere and the pool was good.
Breakfast was the only meal served and that was only 2 choices daily. For not serving food they should have a microwave and refrigerator in the rooms but they did not. There is also no TV in the rooms.

Hotel exterior was pleasant. To far from anything. You get water when u check in. The owner lady is pleasant. The price was not bad to just sleep there. If in the right room the view of the bay is pretty.
Awkward glass business doors for the rooms. There is no actual onsite staff just 1 or 2 people if you find them. Room service is only in the mornings. Breakfast has only 3 full meal options and the same daily. The actual “lobby” bar food area is dead we never ate there. We were never given property info when we checked in. The balcony rooms get water in through the glass doors when it rains, there should be a plexiglass or something on the balcony to prevent that. My family’s belongings in the room floor got wet.

Fantastic location on the water and just outside of town, so nice and quiet. Some nice restaurants within a 10 minute walk from the property. Beautiful and very nicely kept pool.
the room was big and pretty comfortable. The breakfasts were tasty and the beer was always cold. A local Neighbour stopped by swearing by the Margrittas but we didn’t try them.
Some things show their age, like the drapes in the bedroom and some of the walls outdoors. The owner is very hardworking but seems a bit strict - I am not sure how much she likes interacting with guests :)
4.2
Excellent resort with a breathtaking scenery. Rooms were very clean and comfy. I will definitely be back.

The owners are one in a million! Grounds and hotel were beautiful! Everything was excellent.
I wish we had more time to stay longer! I had absolutely no complaints!

I really love their lovely swimming pool. It was so nice!
Even though the sea at front of the hotel was not suite to swim, I really satisfied with the nice pool. The sea in Corozal is not suite to swim because of it’s floating sands in a water. It looked blown color but the sea view at sunrise was so wonderful.
Room and the hotel outside my room was so clean and well organized. I felt good minds of owner’s family.
Breakfast and dinner was so tasty and nice for extra charge but it was reasonable price compared to outside restaurants. Especially I love so much her Pork chops at dinner. It was so amazing taste with yummy garlic source!
Thank you so much for nice chilling days!!
Only the sea for swimming but good view at sunrise. This is natural phenomenon, so the hotel has no choice.

The pool
The food is awful and they are not accommodating when your plans change.

the service was so good, quiet, beautiful, good food

the pool is nice and the location is great located by the beach
I have booked this hotel over and over and yet they cant change the mattress in certain rooms the price that was paid to wake up with pain in the back cause the mattress is worn out is not pleasant also the rooms are not clean.

Good place to have our first stop to relaxe after a long international trip from Amsterdam to Cancun and straight to Corozal by taxi.
Nice garden with beach view. Nice refreshing pool.
They made us a packed breakfast when we left for San Ignacio via Lamanai.
Shower(head) could do with an upgrade.
It is clean but there is cobwebs and dust in corners and behind furniture.
Breakfast is basic and small portions (french toast was dry, my partner had scrambled eggs and loved it).

The location on Corozal Bay is excellent, although only some of the rooms look out onto the bay. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the beds are comfortable, if a bit small. Because of its location outside Corozal and surrounded by a generous garden, it's also wonderfully quiet.
Unfortunately, there was little light in the rooms and the switches were hard to find (especially the light switch in the bathroom is very hidden). Another shortcoming of the hotel is the breakfast options. There was very little breakfast offered, and then for quite a high price.
It should also be noted that the hotel is only accessible via a muddy road.
4.2
Betsi and Owen were very pleasant and helpful. Betsi was able to find us two rooms last minute when our booked location messed up our reservation. We were grateful since Almond Tree and most other locations in Corozal were showing fully booked online.
The property needs a good lick of paint and we would have liked to have had more food options but Betsi helpfulness made up for these minor drawbacks.

Great value, nice waterfront room, good air conditioning, spacious room, and refreshing pool. The room was very clean and bed was firm but comfortable. We even had a nice kitchenette and couch.
The hotel was great, only negative is that in June, in Belize, it’s rainy season. You can’t swim due to the brown water, mosquitoes are abundant and temperatures very hot.
4.2
The property is nice, calm and clean.
The owner was arranging
Very close from Ranchito airstrip
The surroundings were completely flooded when I arrived because of the bad weather
There is no restaurant in hotel (the owner calls one of her friends at a local restaurant and they deliver)
Maybe a bit expensive?

Small hotel directly at a small private beach, well maintained swimming pool area, as we were there off season, we had the hotel almost alone. This is really a hidden gem!

Bob , Owen and Betsy where great absolutely and truly beautiful place 5**
Being a solo traveler in such a romantic settings 🙂

The breakfast was amazing! The grounds were beautiful! And we got a sneak peak of Rocky! The room was large and very open! Right on the ocean, with a great view! Betsy recommended Tony’s place for dinner and it was amazing too!
Would have been nice to have a TV! Only because the weather was bad.
4.2
The place is a small resort. The facilities are very nice and the construction very modern. There are no tvs in the room which did not bother me. Most important this has to be the safest property in the whole area. The breakfast and dinner prepared are excellent.
4.2
the staff was good very accommodating
it’s just a bit too far out of the way and the menu didn’t change a lot

I liked everything! The facilities, the owners, the view, the food!

We have never felt more unwelcome at a hotel (and we travel a lot.!) Lack of basic hotel ammenities in room such as refrigerator, coffee pot, television, hairdryer and shampoos dispensers in shower, No ice machine on property.
4.2
DIDN'T TRY BREAKFAST AT LOCATION
MY BED WAS THE WORST, NO MATTRESS JUST A SPONGE I WAS FEELING THE BOARD BASE OF BED, ENDED UP WITH A BACK PAIN
4.2
Nice view and a comfortable room.
The restaurant had very little selection and very limited hours.

The view of ocean amazing! Betsy cooking the best in town! Loved the food. pool super clean had resort to ourselves most of the time. You can buy your own wine at duty free airport and drink at hotel with dinner. can’t wait to visit again.
