Trees and wildlife.
Dirty, out dated, poor maintenance, mouldy and musty, in the honeysuckle lodge, played havoc with health conditions, and my husband ended up with concussion after getting out of bed in the night as ceiling beside bed is no taller then 5 foot and headbutted the wall. Neither showers worked properly, poor positioning of hot tub, bins overflowing, did not stay 24 hours. Never again.

. Beautiful spot but not value for money.
Definitely overpriced, well below what was expected for price. No toilet roll on arrival and welcome pack was sachets of milk, sugar and 1 biscuit pack, which had been handled on several occasions. Staff told untruths about hot tub being cleaned, it was filthy on arrival. Beautiful spot but not value for money.

It was an excellent holiday. So peaceful especially when we travel from London. So nature friendly.
We were a group of 3 families including 5 kids and every one enjoyed the stay . Will recommend this place to anyone who loves to spend some time peacefully with the nature. Looking forward to book our next trip soon.Thank you so much for the hospitality.
Nothing. We got more than what we asked for.

Beautiful location. Tranquil. Lovely walks. Pub and shops a drive away. We also went to Barnstaple and hired bikes. The bike hire was on the Tarka trail No roads. Lots of birds. The Blue tits pecked on the window, so we put some treats out for them. The Robin comes to your hand and eats from your palm. Wonderful experience.
We struggle with getting adequate, continuous hot water for a bath and the shower. We have left a message with the lodge to advise as this may be a new fault.

The location was lovely peaceful and had nice woodland walk .The roads to the lodge could do with some council attention
No faults with the lodge

Brilliant setting and area, very private, I can’t complain about anything apart from the WiFi being slow and not working a lot
WiFi wasn’t very good in our lodge.

We loved the location and the caving was outstanding! Seen some reviews of someone moaning about the cabin we stayed in but they are just a karen you are literally left alone in the wood it’s perfect
That we had to come home to the kids

Bulworthy forest was stunning, just wish I could live there♥️ The cabin had everything needed, cosy bedrooms and living room TV, with dvd , and lovely kitchen, when we left London there was a foot of snow but despite being a bit frosty we were warm and had a brilliant week would highly recommend, and for this time of year the price was brilliant,a third of the price of travel lodge etc thanks for a great week Siobhan Bray
