The property was lovely. Very spacious with two good sized bedrooms, and two generous bathrooms with an additional toilet and basin room per side of the cottage. The staff were all really amazing and extremely accommodating. Nice grounds for kids with a playground and jumping castle. We had breakfast included and it was delicious.
Nothing.

Alles!

We had a great stay! Thank you to the restaurant staff for opening early so that we could have an early breakfast before our flight.
A few of the facilities could use some updating, but nothing that was a major problem since we had the manor house to ourselves.

The surrounds are beautiful: very green, lots of grass. beautiful view. the villa was really big and comfortable. Staff were very friendly
Some of the fixtures were not working 100%. for example, the lock on the door for the one toilet wasn’t working properly. But nothing terrible. and the staff fixed it quickly when I pointed it out.

Beautiful setting in a special part of the world
Nothing not to like

Very big rooms with all amenities
The management has a wrong concept of hospitality. We had to pay for everything extra; extra cup of coffee at breakfast? Pay! More bread? Pay! The woman who acted as manager was very unkind and even rude. There is a generator but they switch that off at night and in the weekend; there were problems with the power, not due to loadshedding, but they switched the generator off. It felt very unsafe and uncomfortable for the estate is huge and pitchdark without power; all the staff had left and we were left alone in the dark. The manager never answered to our complaints even after the deputy Odwa, who was nice and tried to save us from trouble, had told her we were waiting. The place could be great, but would not advise it if they do not change their concept of hospitality and be more considerate and towards guests. It seems that the hotel part is seen as unimportant side business and they just want to be a wine venue

Beautiful setting..
The squirrels
Lack of tissues , no conditioner and handtowels in kitchen…

The property is beautiful and quiet. The unit was well equipped, and the breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly.
We stayed for 3 nights, and the unit was not cleaned once. The property has a back-up generator for load-shedding, but it is not always on stand-by. I was charged R300 for checking in at 18h00.

This is a peaceful getaway while being surrounded by vineyards! The cottage is just beautiful, spacious and has all the amnesties that you need! Odwa was so helpful and responded to all my questions promptly. Thank you for a lovely stay!
The only observation was for our second breakfast the eggs a bit flavourless and one order had to be returned as it was incorrect.

Despite confirming twice, the hotel called a day before saying we couldn't stay due to system error/overbooking. They did organise us other accommodation but no photos were sent of the alternative hotel and we had no choice in the matter. It was more expensive and no breakfast included and Allee Bleue refused to make up the difference. They did not seem to care they had disrupted our plans and certainly did not go out their way to make up for their error. Lack of interest overall, in addition to their booking issue. Would not recommend this place based on poor customer service.

Out of this world garden, beautiful house, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and fantastic service.
We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.
One small thing - not enough knifes and forks. Both baths leaked water while having a bath.

No bedside lights; no tea/coffee in the bedroom only downstairs in the shared area which is not ideal at all. I am glad we did not have other family members staying in the adjoining room as we noticed there is no way to get fresh air into that room. At least in the main room we were able to open the windows and skylights to get fresh air. The aircon in the main room/bathroom is right above the shower! We would have frozen to death if we had left it running while we were showering! Staff were very pleasant and helpful though.

Beautiful surrounding and a delightful cottage. Odwa made us feel so welcome and went out of his way to ensure we had refreshments. the Market was a bonus!
The private function with music until midnight spoilt the ambience of the setting.

Wine tasting and the views. The breakfast was also amazing

nice estate and friendly staff.
first night in the manor house was a bit of a fiasco. loadshedding and no matches, torch or backup light. after hours numbers provided did not pick up. resorted to sms and eventually the manager sent someone with matches only one large candelabra for candles so lucky the other room was not booked. Odwa moves us to the guest cottage the next night for the inconvenience - much better accommodation

We stayed in the Manor House which has so much history but elegantly furnished.
The scenery on the property with the vineyards and the mountains was so peaceful and beautiful.
After 5pm on week days we had the property to ourselves which was wonderful but since the bistro was closed we had to go to town for dinner, so you definitely need your own transport if you are staying here.
It would be more convenient if the tea and coffee station was in each room in the Manor House.
