noisy rooms as on the river with loud boats sometimes

Buen lugar para alojarse en Rurrenabaque. Zona con hamacas y piscina agradable. El desayuno está bien :)

Great weekly rate.I payed £28 for 7x nights (week deal) which came with breakfast, a 24-7 hot shower as well as the variety of facilities, notably the pool, Bar and pool tables. Location is a 5 minute walk from the centre in a more secluded riverside area. The beds had mosquito nets and the rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard. Would recommend 100%. The only negative was that there was no WiFi signal in the dorm room.

I liked the location of the hostel and staff are friendly.
The room was very gross and not clean. The sheets did not seem as if they had been washed, floor was dirty and hair was in the bathroom drain.

The building itself is pretty and the pool seems to be nice. There is a big community area to spend time at. The breakfast is ok.
The lady at the reception obviously realized that I struggled speaking spanish but instead of speaking slowly, she continued speaking even faster, and also not giving me all important information so I had to ask her again and she seemed to be really annoyed, even though I was the only guest at this moment.
The insect net at my bed was broken, the mattress was pretty thin and during the night it was very cold as the beds only have very thin blankets. Furthermore, the bathroom is in the middle of the room and has no „roof“, which means, that you can hear/smell everything in the dorm what happens in the bathroom. And the hostel is far away from everything else in Rurrenabaque. The laundry service is way too expensive.
I felt very uncomfortable during my stay in the Lobo hostel.

We booked the family room with balcony and the room itself was nice. Also liked the pool which was clean.
Super noisy. They play bad music pretty loud on tinny quality speakers for a lot of the day including morning and night which makes what could be peaceful space hard to enjoy and relax.
Breakfast also quite poor. Second day was better as
a different staff member gave more generous amounts and the juice, first day no juice, a fried egg with overcooked dry yolk and stingy amounts of everything. Asked for second egg and they said you have to pay more but they don't know how much more you have to pay. They said I had to go to reception to find out which was a bit weird. You also have to go to the shop next door to buy any condiment. For the price of the room which is expensive for Bolivia all just a bit stingy.
When we arrived they charged us on card, but when we checking out said we owed more money which was confusing as we thought we had paid in full on arrival but it turns out they had half charged us and not said so we would have to pay again. Their card machine wasn't working and we had to leave to catch our flight and didn't know we still owed money so didn't have time to go to the cash machine, and the staff member was saying we couldn't leave until we had paid even though it was their fault as their machine not working. I said they could bill me and I could transfer and pay online and they said it wasn't possible and I couldn't leave. I wasn't going to miss my flight because of their machine not working, they had all my details Inc passport number so left. After we left they then sent a qr code which wouldn't work (we tried on several phones). She insisted it did but it just didn't and she didn't know how to send the link the qr code was for. At one point they also threatened to charge us another night if we hadn't succeeded in paying by 12.00. She then said instead we had to go to their hostel in La Paz to pay cash, which was out of our way.

Mosquito nets above the bed. Nice big balcony. Lots of shared spaces. Beautiful murals in each room. We could leave our luggage in their storage for 3 days during our pampa tours, nothing got lost. Small but nice breakfast, scrambled egg with some bread, butter and jam. They gave us not only soap but also shampoo and conditioner.
Very noisy place. Loud party music is on, loud volume, for the whole day. Seems like a place for young party people. Also, it's right next to the river and motorboats passing by make a lot of noise.

- they can save the luggages for few days after check out for the tour
- you can use the shower facilities even check out
-there is very important they provided a fan in room, it is quite hot at night
The door is not safe to lock

Very chill and nice place, clean pool. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good wifi.
The room had no furniture except the bed - so really nothing to put your stuff on, no chairs, tables, hangers... That would make a big difference.

Very chill and nice place, clean pool. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good wifi. Good vibes. Storage for luggage.
Minus is that the room had no furniture except the bed - so really nothing to put your stuff on, no chairs, tables, hangers... That would make a big difference.

The room was nice and big and the swimming pool is a saviour for the heat. The large outdoor chilling area is good with pool tables (although a bit worn out).
The bed is not very comfy and it could be a little noisy depending on other guests

The place is great, with some nice shared space including a pool.
The rooms are basic and the shower had hot water.
The location is ok, but not close to the city center or tour agencies.
The rooms could be cleaner.
Unfortunately the water drain in the shower was not working, what means after showering there was water everywhere.
In the middle if the night dogs were barking for ~one hour, what makes it hard to sleep.

Recommendation! Nice hostel with well furnished rooms. Clean. Nice commun areas with pool and bar. Room with hot shower and private balcony. WiFi.
Everything alright. Located a little bit outside of the center, but not too far.

the swimming pool was lovely, lots of communal space, good breakfast and very helpful staff.
the property feels a bit like it’s falling apart. the room was really noisy at night as there isn’t a proper window from the road. Our toilet was also leaking.

Amazing place! I had a private room and the balcony was great. The room had beautiful decorations and I could sleep like a baby at night. I loved the swimming pool, very needed because of the hot and humid weather.

The vibe in the afternoons with the pool was cool and nice to be out of town a bit by the river
Very noisey at night dude to everything being open. beds felt like sleeping on a bag of potatoes and I got bad bed bugs whilst there. everything felt pretty unclean and poor quality. male staff tried charging a lot more then advertised price coming up with excuses for add ons for me and a few others staying there.

Paid for rush laundry service. Laundry was not done in time for our flight so had to take wet clothes on the plane. No refund.
Some staff were helpful, some rude.
Charged us more than we were supposed to pay for the night but no time/energy to deal with it.

- beautiful and comfortable room (I was staying in a private one)
- amazing view from the balcony
- towels, shampoo, and soup in a room
- swimming pool
- the hostel is located in a quiet area close to the river
- good breakfast
- staff is amazing, always smiling, and the owner of the hostel is very friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to stay at your place! Thank you!
Sometimes it was a problem with the water in the bathroom: a few hours without any water at all, for a few days. And in one of the rooms, it was not possible to take a cold shower, the water was always hot. I know that it's not a typical problem, usually, I claim that there is no hot water in a hostel, but here in Rurre with an air temperature of about 35°C - a cold shower is necessary!

The staff was amazing!! it was very hot, 35° but 5 minutes in the swimming pool was enough and with the wristband you can get free drinks and discounts in town.

Everything was great, and the hostel looked after our bags while we did the pampus tour. Would highly recommend!!
2.0 / 5.0
Not a bad place - good location, nice pool, friendly staff. However, for three or four hours each day there was no running water which was very inconvenient (not the hotel's fault, but still). Also, the sliding, flimsy half-doors for the bathroom made things a little awkward. Finally, the room, although ostensibly clean, had years of dirt embedded on the walls, cracks everywhere and a general run down appearance. A good stay all in all, but a few inconveniences.
3.0 / 5.0
You can hear a lot of nature sounds in the night, and the common area was nice.
Bathroom got very wet after showers and there was no way of drying it up, so the room looked like a mess since there was water and dirt everywhere. Wifi not working in the room. Only small lockers placed in the lobby. Room very crowded, there was not much space to move when all bags were out. No working plug near the bed.
