Obviously due to the fact it was the Banksy connection I made the effort to come to a “war torn zone” ( or as the news would present it) … I learned so much ! The staff and locals made my trip, lovely and friendly , I strongly advise to go on the refuge camp walk and make your mind up
All good

Such a unique place, which told the powerful story of occupation and brave Palestinian resistance through genuine artistry. An unforgettable time.
Nothing.

The nice staff and the novelty items and art
Wi-fi was spotty in our room. Kept disconnecting. Impossible to get any work done that requires internet.

The breakfast was very plentiful and delicious.
Nice to be served and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
The only thing we could have asked for was a better location. The view from our room was very built up and a lot of very noisy children playing until late at night on the roofs opposite our room.

We loved everything, this is the most unique hotel we have ever seen! We practically slept in a contemporary art exhibition! Restaurant and staff are amazing and are perfectly completing the experience! Don’t miss it!

Staying here is a truly unique experience. High quality service, lovely food, beautiful spacious rooms and an excellent tour through such a difficult political landscape. The museum and gallery are also excellent and informative. We really couldn’t fault anything. The staff were friendly, helpful and open.If you’re thinking about booking but unsure, just do it!
It’s on the pricey side but for what you get, and for supporting what is an excellent project, it’s worth it.

I really recommend anyone to stay here.
Good atmosphere with art works, amenity and free snack service.
Museum was especially good to learn Palestine matters.
In the bathroom I was embarrassed where I could put my personal staffs while taking a bath.
I hoped there was more space to change clothes.
Our room was domitory and the other guest was male...

Friendly staff, great location, lovely restaurant, rooms are wonderful, we enjoyed the museum and gallery showcasing Palestinian artists. We had a great tour visiting the wall and a refugee camp. Comfy rooms with great amenities.
Normally there is live music on Saturday night but unfortunately not when we were staying.

Incredibly unique - lived up to expectations. Glad there is a property of this caliber which allowed us to feel comfortable staying overnight in the West Bank. Wouldn’t have otherwise.

the property is great, amazing art and history all
in one.
the room had a lot of noise from some pipes, very hard to sleep

Excellent staff, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. The restaurant has delicious pizzas and salads for lunch and / dinner. The location is exceptional, right by the security wall and away from the tourist quarters where the tour buses load off their passengers. The hotel is an ongoing campaign against the injustice, as a guest you are a part of a work of art. Simply perfect.
The hotel could organise lectures about the Palestine - Israeli conflict for the hotel guests. The walking tour of the Aida camp is good, but a lecture would be helpful.

I really wasn't quite sure what to expect from this stay... we were only in Bethlehem for a night and were keen to see the historic centre and understand more about the local situation in the shadow of the separation wall. While interested in the grafitti and the Banksy connection - and definitely looking for a comfortable stay - the last thing we wanted was to have an "instagram experience" and gloss over the glaring local challenges. The whole experience at this hotel couldn't have worked out better. First and most important to mention are the staff, who could not have been more welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They are obviously proud of the hotel and keen to ensure that guests have the right balance of comfort and challenge during their stay - a stated goal of the hotel. The location is, of course, truly unique and the whole hotel was an experience in itself, being densely filled with art/commentary by not only Banksy, but a number of talented Palestinian artists. There is a lot to take in, both inside and out, and we were particularly fortunate to have had the "Banksy room", which was like staying in part of an exhibition. As if this experience wasn't enough, there is an on-site mini-museum which clearly sets out the historial context, includes a number of enlightening details/artifacts, and clips from the Oscar-nominated film, "5 Broken Cameras". The museum itself would be more than worth a visit, even if you are not staying. There was also an on-site gallery with a rotating exhibition of Palestinian artists. In terms of more prosaic details, our room was very comfortable, and the included breakfast was delicious. There's also an amazing food offering in the evening too - some of the best of our trip - I particularly highly recommend the Walled Off Salad.
