Charming rustic cottage. Perfect for Memorial Day weekend with my elderly parents.

The house was very cozy. Four adults staying there was very doable. The house is located on the main drag. I was worried about traffic noise, but turned on a fan in the front bedroom and slept like a rock. Beds were comfortable although a bit tight along the wall. We walked around town and had a blast. We would stay there again when traveling to Long Beach.

This place worked great for our stay seeing family. House was comfortable, well equipped. The location was convenient access to town, a little noisy at times but still good. Would stay here again!

Just as advertised. Close to town, well furnished, clean. A little noisy at times (it's right on the main road through the peninsula) but quieted down by bedtime. The instructions for using the TV should be updated to current components, but we (or I should say my wife, who has a master's degree in educational technology) figured it out. We'd go back.

Surf’s Up Cottage was an exceptionally well stocked, clean and comfortable cottage. The surfing decor was cute, and not overdone. I definitely will look for the availability of this next time I want to book a stay in Long Beach.

Only issue is with parking and pulling out onto the main road. Otherwise everything was great.

We were happy to be walking distance from the main event, and it is always cheering to see how a cabin that started out in 1895 can be a delightful place to stay in 2022, as you can see from the listing, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, made it good for two older couples.

We had a wonderful time and stay at the Surfs Up. This property was cozy and fun as well as clean. The location was perfect for us. We could walk town and the beach. My only suggestion would Netflix or a smart TV to watch movies at night. Really happy with our stay!

The “ Teal” beach house
My grand daughter loved the fact that everything was themed and color coordinated! She got the biggest kick out of finding all the matching things in the cabin. The house was very cozy and comfortable . The kitchen table was perfect for our needs and the back fire pit area was just right for relaxing and roasting marshmallows. And the second powder room was a nice surprise! We will definitely stay here again. It is close to shopping and restaurants.

Great accessible property in downtown Long Beach
I rented this house for my son who is in a wheelchair for our family reunion. The ramp leading to the door had a low incline which made entering the house easy and it was laid out in a way where there were no obstacles. They loved it and made it easy to get downtown to explore. Would stay here again.

Great cottage, great location!
We came here for a family reunion. I needed it to be wheelchair accessible. It worked well since I can stand and pivot. Just three of us stayed ere but we did comfortably visit in the big living room with several family members. Also, the two bathrooms in this small cottage made it really convenient. It was tastefully decorated too.

Surf's Up
A cool old house, well cared for. It was reasonably clean and well furnished. Two negatives: one of the bedroom doors can't be closed and it's right on the main drag through Long Beach and along the whole peninsula. Quite busy at times and, for a light sleeper in the front bedroom, even tho the traffic lets up at night the noise and lights were a little disturbing. Too loud during the middle of the day to enjoy the porch.

2021 girls weekend
Nice cottage for our girls weekend. There was four of us so we had enough room. Close to the town and beach for walking. Right on the main road so there was a lot of traffic noise and not a lot of privacy if shades were open. I would stay there again

Great location
Great location to watch the Rod Run cruising! Very clean, well appointed little studio. Perfect for me and my husband. An upgrade on the couch and bed would make this a 5 star but still very affordable, great location, highly recommended.

the property is very nice, but you might look into a new cleaning crew, i use to be head of house keeping in a national chain, the place needed a good dusting the stove was greasy, but a very pleasant, and restful cottage. the ladies really liked the layout and furniture.

towelles were still in the dryer and the door to the second bedroom won't close because of bed.

I should looked harder
We came into town for my son's wedding. I was desperate to find a place that we could all stay together as there were six of us. This cottage looked perfect. We had a late check in and it was a difficult communication between myself and the property management company. When we were finally ready to go to bed, we pull up the pullout couch and found the mattress with a fair amount of mouse feces on it. There were also pencils under the couch. The mouse droppings rendered the couch un-usable. Who wants to sleep with that? Not me or my loved ones. So that left two of us to find a different accommodation for two nights. Which I had to pay for after paying for this rental. I sent an email to the property management company on Friday night regarding this matter. I have heard absolutely nothing from them. Even now, on Tuesday at the end of the business day. Very disappointed in my experience with these people.
