Completely remodeled 2/1 cottage with a huge deck on an acre overlooking Lake Wateree on the Camden side.

Private, brand new boat dock and shared boat ramp (* RAMP NOT AVAILABLE DURING 2023 LAKE WATEREE (water is FEET lower than usual while they work on the dam) - Our lake is typically a beach-entry type lake depending on the water levels. Only 20 mins to Camden! Only 1 hour 15 minutes to downtown Charlotte. Panoramic, unobstructed water views with 100+ feet of lake frontage! New wood floors and all new appliances in a gorgeous "Chip and Joanna-approved" kitchen! Sleeps 5. 15 mins to Wal-Mart, Starbucks & Chic-Fil-a. 1 mile to Clearwater Marina. Easy road access to this guest house.

If 2 beds/1 bath is a fit for your group and both pet & boat friendly are important to you, this home is one of the better options at Lake Wateree. Privacy is lacking but it's a trade off we were willing to make for the many positive amenities the property has.

House is fine, dock and ramp are superb, super nice to be able to walk down and step onto the boat, rode the lake everday. House was cozy, great size for a couole or small family. AC kept pace thru 100+ heat index days, porch was very nice while the bugs were tolerable. There were nights the bugs kept us inside. Bathroom fixtures are cheap, requires a little fancy handle work, but 100% usable As for the furniture, thats where this house lacks comfort. Our bed was terrible, my shoulder and neck hurt everyday, matteress is well worn, and the gel pad on top exacerbated the feeling of the hole in the middle, we both complained about neck, shoulder, back pain. The living room furniture is equally uncomfortable.

Nice place, quiet neighborhood, extremely great communication and service from property managers. Behind beds in kids room had trash that hadn't been cleaned and between cushions on couch there was some dirt. Minisplit Ac/heat units may need cleaning as they seemed musty smelling at first. That was my only complaints and not anything that was real bad. Enjoyed our stay there and wish I would have had more time there. I would come back and stay here again. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

We really enjoyed our time. The cottage was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We love the outside chair but we could not sit there as we wanted because the weather was cold. The view to the lake is wonderful specially at sunset. I got the chance to meet the host and very nice couple. Definitely we will be back someday. I recommended this cottage it is worth it!

The cottage was perfect for the two of us. Excellent Wi-Fi service for telecommuting for work, comfortable sitting room and well-equipped kitchen. The lake is so relaxing, and we were blessed with beautiful sun sets each evening. Thanks for sharing your cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Sheron Cottage. We arrived after dark and the outside lights were on, which was a big help unloading. Everything was exactly as advertised. Clean and had everything we needed. Loved it and will be back again!

The place is a very simple cottage, perfect for 3-4 who don't mind a smaller space and sharing one bathroom. The cottage is very clean and cozy. The hosts are exceptional and extremely accommodating. The sunsets and the views are simply breathtaking. The cottage is a short boat ride to many fantastic restaurants on the Camden side; as well as, the Ridgeway side of the lake. This is my second time staying at the cottage and I'll definitely stay again when I'm able to.

We rented this cottage for our overflow guests visiting us at the lake. They loved it. Very clean, cute and a beautiful setting. The cove is nice and quiet, feels very safe for a family, wonderful view. The house had everything you might need. One minor issue was the battery was dead in the digital door lock but they were quick to repair it the next day. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful setting on the lake, clean, comfortable home that has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Fishing is excellent and kayaks are a great additions to fun on the lake. Jeff, owner, so personable and kind took time to meet us and make sure our stay was enjoyable…. Definitely recommend this location. We look forward to visiting again.

A last minute getaway with the husband and close friends. Pet friendly place and perfect location for beautiful sunsets on the water. Homeowner was very friendly. Went to dinner by boat and caught some good fish! Nice relaxing vacation

My husband and I rented Blue Heron Cottage for a long weekend to visit our daughter and son-in-law and new grandbaby. They live nearby in Camden, but we wanted a space that they could come that felt like a little getaway. Jeff and Jeanne were gracious hosts and even allowed us to bring our dog, Cole. The cottage was beautifully decorated and gad everything we needed. We will definitely stay again!

The home was just perfect for my needs. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen was stocked well with cooking utensils and dinnerware. Love the wrap around covered porch. Enjoyed the visits from the neighbors dogs and the sunsets were gorgeous on the Lake. Would visit again for a peaceful stay.

The property is 2 bed/1 bath but I didn’t expect it to be as small as it was. There wasn’t even a dining place inside the home. We have little kids so breakfast inside would have been ideal. Plus, there weren’t screens on the doors so you couldn’t keep the doors open without a TON bugs coming in. There was a lot of mix-match furniture with one of the chairs in the living room being broken. There wasn’t central AC so even though it was running and cold in the place it was still sticky. You are definitely paying for the location, which is beautiful! Be careful with the kayaks, one has a whole. Stick with the paddle boards, they were awesome!

This cottage is great, it is close to Clearwater cove and also has its own boat ramp! Clean and comfortable, with the best view on the lake!! Renee the property manager is great and easy to communicate with! We will definitely be back!

We had a phenomenal time at this cottage! From fishing, to paddle boarding, kayaking, riding our boat, swimming and grilling! We had such an amazing time. Owner is very friendly and awesome! Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again!

We have stayed here 3x before and it was always so peaceful and relaxing. Not this time. We we sandwiched between two multi family renters on both sides of us. You children running around behind our cottage. Toys sprawled everywhere. A dog running around unleashed & barking, loud adults enjoying the hot tub at night. Nothing against families having a good time but they totally infringed on our privacy with no consideration to the amount of noise they were making. The rental agent should have alerted us that we were between two families that wanted to be together. We would have been happy to switch cottages. Even though it is a lovely location. I will book a more private home next time.

Visited during a sporting event this winter. Overall easy check in, great property and views. Would definitely be perfect in the warmer months. Unfortunately visited during an ice storm so power was out for most of the visit. Kitchen needs to be stocked with cookware, but overall enjoyed the view and accommodations.

Visited this cottage looking for future fishing trips. Everything we were looking for and more. Wish there was over the toilet selfs for toiletries etc. Beds so comfortable, all appliances worked well, management host came within half hour to teach us how to use HULU to get live TV. They were kind and took all the time we needed to feel comfortable using HULU. The pictures on Vrbo site are accurate. The description of the cottage and its location exactly as stated. We are planning an early spring fishing trip to this cottage. We highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our trip and the views from this little place are amazing! Both sunrise and sunset are gorgeous and you can enjoy them from the house or the dock. Being back in a little "cove" gives you a sense of privacy and calm. A few minor issues with the fridge and the AC units but nothing that disrupted the stay. The only real issue was the pace needs a really good cleaning. There were cobwebs and spider webs all over the place. The first night we spent 25 minutes getting rid of all the bugs and the webs in the house. The kitchen is nice but all the cabinets need a good scrubbing to remove a film on them. We saw the outside of the main house get blown off to remove webs and bugs when it turned over but our place, the small one, had to be done by us. There was even a deodorant cap on one of the bed side tables in the main room. Again, the place offers a lot with kayaks and paddle boards, we brought floats to just relax, and the water was great. Just give it a good cleaning and 5 stars would have been my review.

We all had a wonderful time! The pictures are an accurate representation of the property. Spent a lot of time on the porch admiring the view and tranquility. Nice boat ramp accommodated our 19’ boat and jetski. Will definitely come back again!!

Perfect sized cottage for the 5 of us who were in town for my nephews wedding. The lake side porch was the perfect place for morning coffee and afternoon wine. Great place to watch the sunset. And the kids loved the easy access to the lake.
