Cute cottage with views in a great location

Very comfortable and cosy- super nice rooms! And a great location, so close to the high street. Easy parking.

1 bathroom was too small on the ground floor, and second bathroom upstairs could do with a mirror

Highly recommend

This cottage is aptly named because the view from the garden was amazing. It's within walking distance of the city (via a long flight of steps) with lots of shopping and restaurant options.

Disappointing

Nice to have three bedrooms with their own baths and a full kitchen. Location was great, centrally located for the town.

No explanation for how to lock the door - it isn't obvious and we had to wait for an answer before we could leave. Around midday a man knocked on the window who we didn't know and scared us. The next day another man was in the yard we didn't know. There was a spit jar in the ally to get to the house. The downstairs bed was very uncomfortable and gave us back problems, and the sink in that bathroom was too small to actually use.

Great few days in Inverness and View cottage was fabulous.

Perfect apartment. Walked through an alleyway thinking not sure about this but then it opened up into perfection. Highly recommend this cottage

Superb

Very nice location with a great view, beautiful house with own outside place and very comfortable beds. Easy parking outside the house and 1 minute walk to the city centre

Some things were not really thought through, a toiletpaper holder for example was missing, and the dining table just barely fit in the living room. These were minor things which weren't really a problem.

A fantastic holiday none of us wanted to leave

Absolutely fantastic location, the view from the garden over the city and of the castle was a beautiful spot for my morning coffee, everything the city has to offer just a few minutes walk from the accommodation which was spacious and clean. We will definitely be coming back

Cosy and comfortable cottage

View Cottage is in a great location just above the town centre with a lovely view. The cottage was ideal for a family of four. It was warm and cosy with spacious bedrooms. It is an easy walk into town, to the river, the Islands and to Girvans for cake! Good communication from the owners.

View Cottage made our visit to Inverness extra special. Everything about our stay was superb!

View Cottage was beautifully laid out and spotlessly clean, and it more than lived up to its name as the view of the city and the far hills was excellent. Communication leading up to our stay was superb. Thank you for that, Blair. The location just above Castle Street put us close to some excellent restaurants including “27”, one recommended by Rick Steves in the Scotland guide book left conveniently in the living room of the cottage. I highly recommend this venue and would definitely stay there again if we’re back in the area.

I couldn’t get the TV to work upstairs, but I know that was due more to user error than any problem with the set or the system. No real complaints whatsoever.

Ideal location for the family with great views of downtown Inverness and castle

The location was great. Downtown is 5 mins from the property. Restaurants are nearby. There were three spacious bedrooms with double beds and three bathrooms in this charming 2-stores cottage. Very comfortable and great view of the castle. House is extremely clean and well maintained.

The living room is small but it was sufficient for our family. We tried to watch World Cup soccer but couldn’t get local sports channels.

Awesome cottage in the heart of Inverness

The cottage was beautiful, it was perfect for our family as we had 4 adults and 2 children. It was walking distance from the centre of town and had a great view of the Inverness castle.

We needed a larger pot to boil spaghetti

fab spot with lovely views. away from the road too so it’s quiet. The bedroom downstairs was brilliant as it saved my granny from having to climb the stairs. 3 bathrooms was so handy as we were a group of 6 women!

Very equipped cottage with everything needed Includes coffee, salt, pepper, laundry materials and more. Host is very available and helps with everything. equipped kitchen.

Cleanliness needs improvement. In one of the showers the light is very weak. Uncomfortable beds. No tumble dryer.

Lovely stay, convenient to center of town, great view.

Convenient location, 2 spacious bedrooms and baths on second floor, 1st floor bedroom small, very compact same with bathroom on this level. Outdoor seating when good weather is at hand. Nice views.

A home away from home

The view cottage is really lovely and well-maintained. We really felt comfortable and it was a home away from home. We liked the location and the cleanness of the cottage. Jane was responsive whenever we need anything and so was the cleaning lady.

The kitchen was small and it was difficult for a group of 6 to eat inside when it’s raining. There was a table outside where we can eat or just sit down. There were 2 cameras in the garden, I understand the purpose of having them but not sure if they can switch them off or let the people know before they book.

Beautiful house, excellent value for money

I booked View Cottage for a one-night family stay on the way to a wedding, but the train strikes and airline disruptions stopped my children getting there.....however, this beautiful house helped to make up for the disappointment! Everything was spotless, the bed was really comfortable and the garden had an amazing view. I have limited mobility but the steps up from the main street were fine to manage. A really magical place, hiden away in a quiet area but still close to all the shops. Would love to stay again another time

Lovely cottage in great location!

View cottage was the perfect end to a great holiday in Scotland. It’s located in a quiet residential area, but in very close walking distance to the shops, restaurants and river. A modern, clean and fully equipped cottage. Check in and out was easy and hassle free. A big plus was the parking permit which allowed us to park the hired car right outside. Our stay was extremely comfortable and I would definitely book this cottage again!
