Service is amazing: super nice and helpful, called me by my name all the time which made me feel like home. Delicious breakfast, great location. Super comfortable bed!
I missed a mirror in the bathroom.
4.1
big cozy place, aircon and friendly staff
bit far from the beach front and port
4.1
nice clean beach, although going up north way many boats, but from the resort to the right very good. room is spacious and clean. breakfast is basic, no filipino breakfast...
although not now , at the back in the garden wasps/bees are very active... not aggressive, but advised the management to clear this up, before they settle the colony.
wifi is weak, especially in the room.

Great beachfront location, very friendly and helpful staff, very good value for money as rate included a nice breakfast
4.1
Good location, right on the beach, and wonderful housekeeping staff
The rooms are very dated, dark and over-furnished. The kitchen has no equipment, which makes it completely useless. Beds are quite uncomfortable. They come with a mosquito net (due to the considerable amount of mosquitos), which are extremely dusty. Breakfast is really poor: one omettete, two slices of toasted bread, sometimes fruit, sometimes not, and instant coffee, that you are supposed to make yourself as the staff apparently do not consider it to be their job. Despite the name (“Watersport Resort”), the hotel provides nothing to facilitate any water sports, not even a simple mask for snorkeling.

Very helpful staff
Installations too old, no shower in the whole day and other problems

the staff were nice and friendly
theres a lot of flaws and dangerous part of the resort all of us were trip in the room just right when you open the door just a couple of steps the floor is not level. same in the toilet the toilet floor is not level also the ceiling is dripping.. it was bad experience for us because my husband had accident in the toilet he fell and hit his back at the toilet bowl because of that midget binder/or separator betwen shower and the toilet.. and the plug in in the kitchen area is way dangerous it will spark when you plug.in.. it needs alot of fixing

Bed is super comfortable, staff is very friendly and accommodating, rooms are very clean.
The property bumps up right next to some residential homes. Expect to hear roosters crowing in the morning. I smelled urine in the middle of the night next to my room and that was from someone nearby in the residential homes who peed on the side of the building near my room. Not the best smell to wake up to.

Nice and cozy. As a solo traveler I would recommend 😀

Location and Staff
4.1
Location was right on the beach though the rooms and huts are set back. It was really peaceful.
We stayed in Casablanca and it was nice and spacious with a big bathroom and a nice, hot shower.
Comfy bed and good mosquito net.
The staff were mostly friendly but we found the owner a bit hot and cold.
Breakfast was simple but good, though the menu is a bit confusing; it read like we were going to get charged extra for everything but we weren't.
It's worth noting they only serve breakfast, no lunch or dinner. Not a problem because there are lots of options a short walk away.
This is such a difficult review to write because in general we enjoyed our stay but it just wasn't great. They are really not maximising their potential.
Two nights I had to chase jumbo cockroaches out of the room.
There was a weird blue ceiling light that only properly went off when you took out the keycard so it never got properly dark at night, annoying when you need the fan or air con on.
Despite having two drains the shower didn't drain well so there was a constant puddle in the middle of the bathroom. There is a kitchen area but it only had a kettle and two cups. All the cupboards stank of damp and mould. The fridge a bit rusty so we didn't want to use it. Termites are eating all the wood so there was grit on the floor.
We thought it slightly unnecessary that they charge you for water refills, we'd read a previous review stating this so were half expecting it but at £30 a night it seemed a bit trivial to pay 15php for a litre of water. Other, more budget places on the island topped up our bottles for free.
The most shocking thing was the wiring (pun intended). On the second night at midnight we were treated to a terrifying display of electrical arcing. The wire to the fairy lights outside (which was dangling about freely) on the balcony had worn through, it had rained heavily and when water got in it shorted out very loudly and brightly. Like lightning. It did it again at 4am. We didn't sleep that night for fear of burning to death in our sleep. In the morning the electrician was checking around the rooms, when we showed him the damage he just waggled it about and, because he didn't get electrocuted, just wrapped it in insulation tape and carried on with his life. Luckily it didn't rain again but with so many other outdoor sockets and switches (some dangling by a thin wire) it did not feel safe. Especially as the roof leaked a bit over the front door close to some switches.

once again we had a very wonderful stay at Mike’s Resort.
Mike and his staff were wonderful hosts, the location is nice and quiet, our accommodation was very large, clean and spacious. We also enjoyed the breakfast with the wonderful view of the ocean.

The staff was accommodating, friendly, approachable and always ready to help. The room was very comfortable and the location of the resort was excellent and peaceful.
The toilet/shower could do with regular housekeeping.
It would be better if there was no rent for the use of utensils.

Bed so far is comfy
