About this villa rental
Come experience the unique charm and romantic atmosphere of beautiful Villa Annalisa overlooking the sea just below the town of Ravello. Set in a magical place of natural beauty, the villa has its own private access to the sea, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. The villa allows its guests to enjoy the sun and sea, to experience local traditions and delight in the gastronomy of the region with privacy and complete relaxation. All the rooms have breathtaking sea views and are furnished with beautiful antiques. They offer every modern comfort with an attention to detail that you would expect from luxury accommodation.
As of April 2020 a new elevator was put in which connects all internal 5 floors from the roof top to the main Loggia.
Villa Annalisa is a spectacular villa, built in the 19th century overlooking the sea on the Amalfi Coast, in the town of Castiglione di Ravello, a short distance away from Amalfi and Atrani. The ravishing countryside, the vast expanse of the sea, Ravello and its famous villas clearly visible, together with its luxuriant ambiance, transform this Italian villa into a magnetic attraction. The villa\'s entrances are conveniently located at street level, which is on the main Amalfi Coastal Road (SS 163). The property offers a small private gated parking area for two medium size cars immediately outside the front door (one of them is included in the weekly rental rate). A public garage is also available a short distance away (about 100 m). The home has recently been renovated, transforming the villa into a luxury guest accommodation while at the same time, carefully preserving the architectural integrity of this historical home.
The property has a private garden of 1500 sqm with its own access to the sea by a stairway: 130 stone steps wind down through bougainvillea covered terraces, and lemon and orange groves. In an enchanting cliff just upon the sea is embedded the swim spa pool (open time May to end of Oct, from 8 am to 8 pm). It is a Jacuzzi, 4.30 x 2.3 meters, with water massage, upstream swimming and heat-able water. There is also an equipped solarium, and a small private pier set in an enchanting cliff inlet. In the lowest garden, just above the sea level, there is also a small kitchen unit, a changing room together with toilet and sink. Down a few steps you find a waterfront covered dining terrace where guests can enjoy stunning al fresco meals.
On the rooftop is a terrace furnished with its own small, fully-equipped kitchen and barbecue. From here you can enjoy a superb view of the entire Amalfi Coast. On the lower floor of the villa there is another larger panoramic dining terrace completely covered with a pergola of bougainvillea. Both are suitable settings for hosting special and unforgettable events, such as weddings and birthday celebrations.
The four stories of the Villa are reached by a beautiful old staircase with inlaid wooden handrails from which stunning views can be glimpsed through arched windows. With about 400 sqm, the villa is quite easy to navigate with a few steps between each floor. The fully equipped kitchen provides an intercom system, 22’ flat TV, 5 range stove top, large oven, big fridge, freezer, espresso machine, microwave, dishwasher, a central island and a laundry area with washing machine and dryer. Here there is also a wine cellar cut into the rock where wine is available a la carte.
