Overall great hotel and amazing host, highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Deganwy Hotel! It was a perfect location just a very short stroll to the main high street and not far from the nearest beach. The room was lovely, cosy and very clean. It had perfect storage (wardrobe & draws) to keep everything tidy and organised. The bed was very comfortable and the TV had Netflix two big bonuses for us. Breakfast was outstanding great options and amazing quality. Overall great stay. Donna is an amazing host who really goes above and beyond for her guests!

Honestly nothing negative to say about the place, really couldn’t fault it!

Great location for Looe, lovely hotel. Room was quiet with lovely views. Good choice at breakfast. Owner was very welcoming! Free parking was a bonus and even the smallest of things like USB wall sockets in the room were a help, when forgetting my phone charger.

Nice friendly hotel. Prime location for all the towns facilities. Station and bus stop just outside, which was great for days out. Good breakfast, room immaculate with rive view.

We really enjoyed the accommodation, the locality and the coastal and woodland walks. Relaxing 😎

Donna was very helpful and efficient. The breakfast is great quality and much attention paid to detail. Because the bedroom did not have a river view we were given a very nice table for breakfast with a lovely view. The lounge and bar area were very welcoming and comfortable. Lots of guests like to return each year. Parking was across the road and most days we left the car and either walked or used the bus for £2 which meant we could chill 😎 A great location both enjoyable and practical. We loved Hanifore especially the little vintage China tea room called Island View. Beautiful scenery both woodland river walks or coastal path walks. A good variety of eateries both formal or to go.

May be a difficult steep approach for some with mobility problems but this was not a problem in our case.

Donna was an excellent hostess :very friendly, nothing too much trouble Breakfasts freshly cooked to order. Delicious and plenty of choice Beautifully appointed and well kept rooms. Views fantastic and weather was glorious. Plenty of eating places nearby

Slight downside is the steepish slope and steps up to property but that's most of properties in Looe! External but stylish bathroom which we did know about but would definitely choose ensuite option given a choice. It's fine if you don't need to get up too much in the night 😂

Best guest house we have ever stayed in.

Location,car parking. Hosts were amazing,warm, friendly and so informative about local amenities, places around the southern coast because they have tried them themselves without being judgemental, always positive. David and Donna are the perfect couple to run a guest house.

There aren't any negatives.

Good location. Clean throughout. Perfect hosts. Dave and Donna very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and nothing too much trouble. Room had a separate private bathroom..but had own key and was literally opposite bedroom.

Nothing to dislike. Exceeded expectations and would certainly stay again

arrived at the property and were able to check in early which was good! David and Donna were excellent hosts, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I had a front bedroom with a view over the harbour which was beautiful waking up to in the morning.

Professional yet personal service - outstanding!

One of the very Best guest houses I've ever stayed in, offering professional yet personal service. Donna & David were 10/10 hosts and their kindness and good humour were very much appreciated. We will definitely be staying there again. The communal lounge has a wonderful view - do take advantage of it

Amazing three day break

Great breakfast amazing smoked salmon and scrambled egg.The view from the breakfast room was stunning a very relaxed breakfast.Lovely well stocked lounge bar for a pre dinner drink before you go out to eat.Donna and Dave go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble.Definetly be back.

The breakfast was great, we didn't have a cooked breakfast but that was down to personal preference. There was plenty of continental breakfast to choose from though.

Excellent hotel in a great Location for walking into Looe, Dave and Donna are perfect hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.Dave prides himself in cooking a lovely breakfast and cant recommend it high enough, We will definitely return in the near future!

the property is located near the station and a nearby bus stop, all which was very handy to help get around. the property is clean, comfortable, well maintained throughout. Dave and Donna are amazing hosts. I will definitely return and recommend this place to others travelling to Looe.😊

Great location, lovely hosts, definitely recommended!

The guest house location is great: quiet, close to the core of Looe and its beaches, has a lovely view on the river and is very a good starting point for some hiking trails (i.e., for Polperro or in the woods). Everything, including rooms, was exceptionally well kept and clean. The hosts/staff are some of the best hosts we met in our trips: welcoming, kind and extremely available to help with good suggestions for what to visit, where to eat, etc. The breakfast with river view is superb. Definitely recommended!
