Great location.
Very helpful, friendly staff.
Also great facilities.
The rooms desperately require upgrading.
Large chip in table, marks over the carpet….marks on the wall.

Nice location, good facilities, excellent rate
Jacuzzi was freezing
Member of staff was rude when we asked if we could order some drinks in the bar. He carried on walking and said he didn’t work in the bar. When my husband asked if he could ask someone else to serve us he tutted and rolled his eyes. We actually mentioned it later on to a member of staff but we didn’t know his name so they didn’t know who it was. I’ve never experienced this before, he was unusually rude for someone who works in hospitality.

Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and all cooked fresh.
The window sills in the room had lots of little dead flys on it which was disappointing considering it’s a 5 star.
Also the additional service charge on the meals on the complex which seemed a little high! The fact we went told of this either?
4.3
Exceptional interior design and spotlessly clean.
Lights are dimmed at night and music is shut off which leads to an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. (It also means that this place is an oasis for people with sensory considerations).
The staff are exceptional. Upon arrival the doorman opened the door for us and offered assistance with our bags. He then waited with us until we checked-in, even preventing another couple from skipping us when they inadvertently cut the queue for the reception (all of the doormen were great and they were keen to remind us of the shuttle service and to offer any assistance every time we left the hotel, offering help with carrying anything from our car when we were coming and going).
This set the tone for the rest of the staff going forward, nothing seemed too much for any member of staff and they almost seemed disappointed when we didn’t need anything! You can’t walk past a staff member without a pleasant greeting and an offer of assistance. Even the facilities and cleaning staff are sure to give a pleasant greeting and ask how you are enjoying your stay.
We also opted for the breakfast. Plenty of variety and the food was hot and tasty. The meats (bacon/sausage etc.) were also of a good quality.
The in room dining food was also very tasty, we tried this on one night and it was delivered promptly and contained good portions. The wrong drinks were delivered, however I called back and the correct drinks were delivered to the door within a couple of minutes.
Overall a very relaxing hotel with exceptional service.
We were looking forward to the sports bar but it was closed due to the low season.

I am a wheelchair user and the hotel is easy to negotiate and accessible room very good. Staff were excellent. Very comfortable hotel
Disabled parking is not near the entrance and only 2 bays, one used by a van when I stayed! However you can unload at front door and staff will park your car.

amazing place. good value. beautiful location.
some of the bar staff were inexperienced.

Beautiful views of the coast and St Andrews.
Housekeeping was a disaster. We stayed for 5 nights and I would call before 9am every morning to request for housekeeping to service the room before my baby needed to nap at 12:30pm. However, this was not done. I would have to ring them again in the afternoon and it was almost 7pm before this was done. My husband and son were staying in the room next to us. Their room was not serviced everyday. Despite the feedback to reception, nothing was resolved.
Everyday we would have to call to ask for towels, or shower gel or laundry bags. Housekeeping did not even make the bed or replenish all the items in the room.

The Spa
Service charge being added without the facility to delet

Great property
Aircon was very noisy and front of house seemed under resourced

Upgrade to room appreciated.
Limited menu at Italian restaurant for 2 nights together.

Delicious food at breakfast, kind and friendly staff everywhere. Luxurious spaces everywhere in the hotel. Our daughter loved the outdoor games area too. Pool was great.
Couple of small issues with the room, e.g. no coffee pods, TV glitched and kept switching off and the heating did not work, so my elderly parents spent a few hours in an uncomfortably cold room.
These things, once reported were fixed very quickly by kind and helpful staff.

bed was uncomfortable

It's a really lovely hotel, very well looked after, good facilities. Spa / pool area is very good. Staff very friendly. Good breakfast buffet.
The attentiveness of staff wasn't great. They seemed quite slow to take orders, clean up and the sports bar area was left without a member of staff from time to time. The menu became a bit monotonous after 3 days but the food was very good.
4.3
we got a beautiful sea view room
the bed was torn, curtains dirty and torn. I raised this with the staff as I was scared to get a bill for the damage.
4.3
Location is great. Beautiful grounds.
The food available on site is overpriced and to be honest, nothing you couldn't make yourself at home. Feel like it could do with a proper Scottish restaurant rather than a half arsed Mediterranean one
4.3
