Hidden Gem

Absolutely loved how friendly the staff are. Location is literally a 30-minute walk from the city centre, and you've a shopping and food complex just close by. Talking of food, wow, the breakfast is absolutely outstanding. The price is amazing. I'd definitely stay again.

I'm not too keen on the shared bathroom, but it was immaculate, and for the price paid, it is worth it, and you are made aware it's a shared bathroom.

Absolute bargain in a great location.

Fabulous little bnb attached to a lovely local pub. My room and shared facilities were spotless. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, I had to leave prior to breakfast, but it smelled amazing.

Good value for money stay.

Stayed in a single with a shared bathroom. Only shared with one other room. Nice powerful shower. Good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.

Place was clean in the day to day sense, but maybe in need of a spring clean here and there (dusty corners, lingering cobwebs, windows). Breakfast on a Saturday is served 8-9am

Excellent value for money with a very delicious and freshly cooked full english breakfast. Great staff. Room was tiny and basic but adequate for the night. Parking directly outside the front door.

The accommodation was noisy. Someone took a long shower in the room next door around midnight. Thin walls so I felt I had the shower with them. The immediate surrounding area to the hotel was dreary but it was so close to the centre that I would definitely stay again.

Well worth the money.

Breakfast was outstanding. With choice of cereal AND toast AND full English. And it was all presented beautifully. With choice of marmalade jam etc. and all included in the price of the room. No extra charge

A very pleasant stay - we will return.

The room was not large, but was big enough. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was well-cooked and tasty, The staff and locals in the bar were welcoming.

The toilet was a little noisy when flushed.

Good location, friendly welcome and a good breakfast. Cost under a tenner to Uber into Durham. Walking distance to local shops and parking on the front.

Nothing. It was very basic, and the bed was a bit hard. But overall for the price it was good basic b&b. Owners welcoming and a good breakfast.

Welcoming stay a short walk from Durham City Centre

Excellent breakfast, lovely hosts, room was very clean and pub downstairs had a very welcoming atmosphere, bed was comfortable and shower room was basic but clean with good water pressure &hot water, all in all a wonderful stay and good value for money

No shower gel/shampoo in bathroom but in fairness not to be expected as very low priced room
