Had an amazing stay here, the morning animal visits while having your morning coffee were fantastic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Sarita. The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of space. The pool was always refreshing after being out for the day. Many restaurants and shops nearby. View from the top deck was beautiful. We would recommend this property to others.

My family of 8 loved our stay in this house. It provided plenty of room for us. The beds were comfortable and we were happy to see the master bedroom was on the main floor. There are alot of steps leading up to the front door. The driveway is downright intimidating but once you drive it one time, you’ll see it’s not so bad. The views are amazing and there were so many monkeys around. They came very very close to us. The kids absolutely loved that. The howler monkeys were very loud in the early mornings but it was definitely worth it for the experience. The swimming pool was a great bonus. It was very beautiful and well kept. This house is close to shops, restaurants and just minutes from the Manuel Antonio national park.
Maria was a wonderful host and was very responsive. The concierge service was a nice surprise. They were fabulous and very helpful. Jorge, Hazel and staff were always pleasant and willing to help with whatever we needed. I would absolutely recommend this home for your next Manuel Antonio / Quepos vacation.

We had a wonderful week in Manuel Antonio And at the villa. It’s a great set up for a single family in terms of the rooms and the outdoor space including the new redone deck, and the new pool is absolutely perfect for relaxing and viewing the wildlife. We had daily visits from 3 species of monkeys, and frequent sitings of iguanas, macaws, toucans and a variety of other birds. The villa is just a short walk to a multitude of restaurants and shops and our villa concierge was at our beck and call for arranging any transportation need or adventure/tour. he really made everything quite seamless, which is a huge help. Just a fantastic experience all around!!

We had a fantastic stay in this fab casa! Our kids had to flip a coin as to who got to stay in the tree house room. It was cool! The house had everything we needed for our family of 5.
We enjoyed seeing sloths in the trees, parrots flying in pairs, iguanas walking on the retaining walls and more!
They have renovated the pool and we liked the newer, bigger design. We took dips in it to celebrate the New Year. The pool towels that were provided were very plush too!
As others have noted the house has a steep driveway but we managed a stick 4 x 4 just fine on it. We would walk to the top of the drive to catch some of our tour pick ups.
Our Concierge was awesome and helped us book a lovely New Year’s Eve dinner, a personal chef & other excursions. He is local so has lots of insights which are very helpful.
We would definitely book again!!!

We stayed for four nights. We did have a little miscommunication on how to get into the house upon arrival. I was told to call when we got there but realized after we arrived that I didn’t have a phone number to call. After a few emails and digging around we were finally connected to our concierge who gave us instructions on how to enter. (While we waited we had the benefit of being greeted by a family of howler monkeys in the trees above us. That was very exciting for my kids.)
The road to the house is very steep and almost makes you think it’s too steep to drive down. But we made it.
The views were gorgeous from the top level. And the bird/animal life is amazing. We loved sitting by the pool watching the monkeys and birds.
After we left we were told there was damage to a hair dryer that had been burned/melted by an iron. There is no way to prove we didn’t have a curling iron with us or that we didn’t use the clothes iron so we were charged for that damage. I would suggest that if you notice anything wrong you immediately report it. My mother said she sort of remembers seeing something burned but didn’t think much of it. We should have let them know right away. But the hair dryer still worked so it didn’t bother us.
Other than the way it ended we had an amazing stay. The concierge, Jorge, was very helpful and immediately answered any questions we had.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.

online for eight people. The facility was very spacious. The concierges were easy to work with and responded rapidly to our questions and needs. Jorge was very knowledgeable about things to do and see in the area and places to eat. We would definitely stay at this house again

We traveled to Costa Rica as a family of 5. We stayed at 3 different hotels and 2 homes, we all voted at the end of the trip for our favorite spot and Casa Sarita won the vote! We had the best time! The location is incredible, a hilly walk for sure but its walkable to a few restaurants and shops. From the photos online I thought we would only see the ocean from the top floor. I was pleasantly surprised to see that we had a view of the ocean from every level of the home including the pool! We were visited by a sloth and monkeys, the sloth was a true highlight of our trip! The pool water was so warm and the kids had the most amazing time swimming in the pool at all hours of the morning, afternoon and night. We walked for coffee at Emilios Cafe, had dinner at La Mariposa Hotel which is just one street over, went to the local beach every day, just incredible! The driveway down to the house was Steep! A little scary at first, but we got used to it!

Our family of 5 including three adult children was fantastic. We especially appreciated the support from our concierge who helped us with a local chef and several day trips. The house was great and the top room was great for our 20 YO daughter who loved her "tree house" room.

Stayed for a week with 5 couples. Everything was amazing! The house is great, the location is great, the people are all so nice. If I had to pick 1 thing I didn't like it would be how steep the driveway is, that's a very minor issue in an amazing week!

Excellent Jungle House
This house was pretty cool and felt like we were in the Jungle Book movie. It had a very steep paved driveway which is normal in this area but our 4x4 Had no issues. Views of the Pacific were great on the upper level. Bathrooms were very nice. We had monkey visitors everyday and awoke to the Howler monkeys…once on the roof.

Amazing
Absolutely wonderful rental. The owners did an amazing job with the decor and the beauty of the landscaping. Lots of towels and everything that you would need for a large group. Wished it had washer and dryer available and the parking is almost non existent. 4 wheel drive is almost a requirement. The home itself is one of the best I have seen.

Fantastic Location
We just returned from a stay at Casa Sarita and had a wonderful time. I can't imagine a more perfectly situated house. It was walking distance to restaurants and shops and had a great view from the top floor of the ocean. The best part though is that it was situated on what seemed like a monkey highway. Howler monkeys made their way through early each morning, and on many days, we'd have large troops of capuchin, squirrel, or howler monkeys pass through during the day. One of my favorite parts of our trip was just watching the monkeys right out our front door. There was also a sloth camped out in the avocado tree in the driveway, and a large iguana who sunned himself daily at the edge of the driveway. We also saw toucans perched just outside the house, geckos, and beautiful butterflies. We almost didn't visit the National Park because we felt we saw so much wildlife right on the property. Jorge (our concierge) and the house cleaner were both fantastic to work with. We've only been home a few days, and I miss Costa Rica and Casa Sarita so much already!

Uniquely Costa Rica with the comforts of home!
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Sarita. We travelled to Costa Rica with family from the United States. We had five adults and five kids in our group. The house is really unique and has most of the comforts of home while definitely feeling like you’re in Costa Rica. The house is located within walking distance to a small grocery store, a few restaurants, and souvenir shops. However, you need to be prepared to walk up and down steep hills because you’re in the mountains. You’re also in the jungle and we saw wildlife every single day, including white faced monkeys, squirrel monkeys, sloths, macaws, toucans.
Here is the bedroom/ bathroom situation:
- The first floor has a bedroom with a king sized bed and an en suite bathroom. There is also a second full bathroom on this floor along with a large living space, dining area, and kitchen.
- The second floor has three bedrooms. There is a bedroom with a king sized bed and then two more bedrooms that connect to each other with French doors. One of connecting bedrooms has a king bed and the other has a full. The connecting bedrooms also connect to the house’s third bathroom. There is also a small living room area on the second floor.
- The third floor has one bedroom with a king bed. This floor is accessible from inside the house and outside the house. Also, there is no bathroom on this floor. There is a really cool patio on this floor though.
All of the rooms have separate ac units. The couch in the first floor living room is huge and has enough space to sleep two large adults (if no one in your party wants to sleep in the third floor room). The house also has a good septic system and hot water heater. The kitchen contains a full sized refrigerator, 4 burner stove/oven, dishwasher, and microwave. The hot water heater works well. There is no washer/dryer but the housekeeping service will wash your clothes for you if you want.
Prior to your arrival, the property manager will communicate with you and help you make any reservations/arrangements. They are extremely helpful. Upon your arrival, a property manager will meet you at the house (ours was Jorge and he was AWESOME). He was just a text message away. He helped us make arrangements for things that we didn’t reserve in advance. Lastly, unless you’re experienced with Costa Rican roads, do not rent a car. There are tons of taxi drivers in the area and the roads are difficult to navigate.

Beyond Expectations
This villa was amazing and the stay was a dream. From the housekeeper always keeping up with our needs to the amazing concierge helping with everything! Dinner was made at the house by a private chef that tasted really fresh. The house itself was amazing as well, AC in every room, private pool, and the comfy hammock with the view was astonishing. Would definitely stay here again!

Casa Sarita que lindo
The company that manages this property was most exceptional, and is why we had such a remarkable experience! Hazel and Jorge were supremely accommodating. Housekeeper Pamela kept the space spotless. Chef Diego fed us deliciously prepared meals. Casa Sarita is a beautiful property in the cliff side of Manuel Antonio, so the jungle surrounds you with wildlife passing through, while being in close proximity to amenities and attractions. Hope to return very soon!

Great place for family and friends!
We enjoyed everything about this property! The views were amazing, from the ocean to the wildlife around the home. Jorge was great and made himself available for any questions we had and suggestions. We would absolutely consider and recommend staying here on future trips.

Casa Sarita
Overall we had a very good experience. The house was well appointed and comfortable and the services were very good. Access was down a steep hill and while it was manageable for most of us, my 82 year old spouse had some difficulty walking it and it was somewhat slick when it got wet. Some of the pickups for activities could not drive their larger vehicles all the way down. The bedroom at the top level of the house was not usable for us since the exterior door next to the room had to stay locked or anyone could have access to the house from the outside stairway. Without the use of the bedroom we were a little more crunched for space, but we made do. There was no bathroom on the top level, so having a bedroom up there without a readily accessible bathroom was awkward. But still an overall good experience.

Excellent stay
Loved the house and the area. We were visited by many monkeys and a sloth in the backyard. The concierge service was great and housekeeping was great. They even did some of our laundry since there is no washer or dryer available to use. Concierge offered to deliver groceries and supplies for a very inexpensive amount(think it was $2) but we never used it since we were out and about a lot and had a rental car. I recommend this property.

Great location and super helpful team
This was a great place for a vacation that was truly beyond our expectations. Jorge was the most helpful concierge I have ever had. He was super easy to contact and quick to respond to every question/request we had.
We saw 3 types of monkeys in our trees every day we were there and this location is very close to both the beach and the national park. It made for the perfect home base for all of our once-in-a lifetime activities--surfing, wildlife spotting, cacao plantation tour, waterfall pool swimming, scuba diving and whale watching to name only a few.
I would definitely recommend Casa Sarita for any group looking for a mind-blowing vacation in Costa Rica!

When planning a destination trip, you need people you can trust. People that are honest and describe things how they actually are. Communication is everything along with a timely response.
I received ALL of the above and from the nicest people in the business you’ll ever meet.

A great family trip
Our overall stay at Casa Sarita was fantastic. Many thanks to Hazel for her help in preparing for the trip ahead of time (answering questions, arranging services and tours, and helpful advice). Also much gratitude to Diego and his assistant chef for a delicious dinner and breakfast. Lara, our onsite concierge, was also very responsive especially when it came to arranging pickups for our various tours.
I've got to say that the overall experience was excellent. The howling monkeys made the evenings very interesting (sounded like a horror movie but in the most fascinating way). The rooms were well appointed and the baths had such an artistic quality to them. The only negative was the pool cleaning schedule didn't seem to mesh with our arrival and we only got to use it a couple of times (not a big deal but certainly an small thing that could be improved). Our goal was to have some much-needed quality time with friends and family and Casa Sarita was the perfect place for this to take place. Many thanks to Elizabeth and her team.

Wonderful stay!
Casa Sarita is absolutely wonderful. The setting is peaceful with monkeys and sloths viewed from the house during our visit. The coordination by Hazel before our visit and by Lara during our visit was more than we could have ever hoped for, they were outstanding and made our trip incredibly easy. We also hired Chef Alejandro, which took away a lot of stress about planning and cooking meals and cleaning up afterwards. I'd give Casa Sarita six stars if I could!

A great house in a perfect location. Easy walking distance to the restaurants in Manuel Antonio, and a short drive to the national park. Our family loved our stay at Casa Sarita. Gary, the concierge, was extremely helpful arranging various tours and other outings during our stay.

Perfect Villa. Perfect Location. Great Concierge Service.
The villa is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for my group of 7 as it provided the space, amenities and everything else that we needed. The rooms are all spacious, especially the first-floor bedroom with the ensuite bathroom. You can't beat the location as it is walking distance to several good restaurants, bars, supermarkets, liquor stores, pharmacy, bank, and a relatively short walk (via the back road/trail) or bus ride to the beach. The terrace on the top floor (with a mini refrigerator) is heavenly and a perfect place to have your morning coffee, afternoon drinks, or just to relax and watch the monkeys and giant macaws go by. The pool is small, but ideal for cooling off after a day of tours/excursions... and pool/beach towels are provided. If you decide to spend a day relaxing at the villa, you can sit by the pool in one of the lounge chairs. Did I mention that there is an outdoor grill? Perfect for some burgers, hot dogs or grilled meat.
Two members of my group were celebrating birthdays, so we hired Chef Alejandro who prepared a really delicious meal on our arrival. Everything was so good, especially the grilled whole lobster which was succulent, flavorful and incredibly delicious.
The beach is a great place to relax. You can rent a tent, beach chair/umbrella and get a massage, order food/drinks and participate is several watersports/activities. There are several souvenir shops and restaurants by the beach.
The wildlife in Manuel Antonio is amazing. The monkeys came by the villa every day and would sometimes play on the top floor terrace and by the pool. We saw the brilliantly colored giant macaws and toucans fly by several times, sloths hanging out at night on the overhead wires along the street, iguanas running around and whales splashing around.
Our concierge, Hazel Waterman was incredible! She greeted us on our arrival at the villa and was always accessible. She arranged all our tours and transportation. The tours/excursions were well organized and so much fun. The catamaran tour allowed members of my group to snorkel, see whales and watch the beautiful sunset, all while enjoying an open bar and a buffet lunch. The horseback riding was awesome and the stop at the waterfall was refreshing. The ATV tour along country dirt roads and through riverbeds was perhaps the most fun for my group. Be warned, the fun comes at a price... you get really dirty :-)
We can't wait to go back and would definitely rent this villa again!

Great vacation. Loved Costa Rica!
House is nice but could use some upgrades. Dishwasher is not secured under cabinets so it warbled and the door hit the next cupboard. Rust on fridge. Stairs were so slippery my daughter fel down one of the flights of stairs. Parking was a big problem. Concierge was great! Restaurants were too. The pictures make it look better than it is. Felt like I was glamping.

Perfect place for Mom's 80th
Needed the perfect place to celebrate Mom's 80th and we found it at Casa Sarita. Zip lining in Costa Rica was on the agenda and this vacation did not disappoint. The house is spectacular and everything we were promised was delivered. This house has it all; comfy rooms, monkey visits, great pool, spectacular view and most importantly Hazel. She made all our arrangements and everything was flawless. We cannot thank you all enough. It as a vacation we and Mom will never forget.

Wow great place amazing time.
Beautiful house with amazing views. It was just my son and I staying and it was the best experience we had in Costa Rica. Close to everything and such a vacation feel to the home! My son loved the treetop room and deck. Next trip he wants to bring some friends to enjoy it with. There plenty of bed rooms! We look forward to next vacation in the area and will be staying at this Home again soon.

Best birthday getaway ever!
Six of us rented Casa Sarita for two birthday celebrations and a fun vacation. It was simply amazing and we'll forever treasure our memories in this GORGEOUS country!
The house was the perfect size for us because everyone had their own space and we never felt crowded or in each other's way, especially when getting ready. The concierge associated with the house made activity planning a breeze - we were picked up and dropped off at the house for everything. She also was very helpful in getting a birthday cake, cab rides and answering any questions we had.
Also, the amenities are just like home: nice showers, outlets like in the US, wifi, tv and a great kitchen - so you have familiar comforts in a very tropical setting. We heard and saw monkeys, macaws and toucans every day - it's a fun way to have morning coffee.
Would rent again in a heartbeat!

Wish we could have stayed longer!!!
This house was stunning and the top floor balcony I could have sat in the hammock forever looking at the view! Incredibly comfortable accommodations, even providing towels to go to the beach! Hazel was also very helpful setting up transportation and activities! First class!!!

Great house!
The house was as shown in the pictures. It was plenty of space for four adults and four children. And monkeys! Every afternoon we either had Capuchin or Squirrel monkeys stopping by for a visit on the patio or the pool deck. Only four stars instead of five because I found the booking process a little cumbersome. The provided concierge was helpful and full of info about the area.

Casa Sarita in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica
We loved the home. It was very clean, no bugs, and looks just like the pictures. The view of
the ocean from the patio was beautiful and we loved sitting on the patio and watching the monkeys in the trees outside the front of the home. It was located within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. We had 10 adults and it was very comfortable. We would highly recommend this lovely home to friends and famiily.
