Friendly and excellent service. Very good breakfast. Nice pool. Spacious rooms.

Just a simple hotel. Shouldn't present it self as a luxury. Rooms we stay it was nice. Amenities wasn't nice. Food is mediocre.
Air conditionin didn't work in the room we need to change the room.
They make us wait for check in until 3:40.
3.0
Facilities not as advertised. Restaurant onsite overpriced for the average food quality. Noisy in the mornings as this is close to the main road. Beeping of the lifts is audible in the living space.
Saw wildlife from the balcony.

Ceiling had leak (onto the stairs)… they did not fix after notified…. Left early

Stayed in a penthouse suite and it was great. 4K sqft of hotel and a family of 5 meant we all had our own area! The views from the top floor wear spectacular too.

We stayed in one of the townhouses—it was amazing! Beautiful views with a private plunge pool.

I did not like that someone could enter the unit via elevator anytime without warning and someone did that one evening.

Los Altos is a wonderful small hotel with a wide variety of rooms, all of which are incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Andres checked us in and showed us around the gorgeous grounds. He was extremely professional and helpful for our entire stay. The rooms were clean and had all of the amenities we could have possibly wanted for our stay. The food at the on-property restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, this hotel was a fantastic experience and a great value. 10/10 recommend!

Got my room service order wrong many times. Property condition is just ok.

We had a fantastic stay! Beautiful property with amazing views. Super friendly staff with a great restaurant. We saw a lot of birds and monkeys on the property which was pretty incredible. Nice hiking trails on site and many walkable restaurants near by. We will definitely come back!

Our four day stay at Los Altos was absolutely wonderful!
- hotel room was clean and had a beautiful view
- staff was incredibly kind, accommodating and prompt with any requests we had
- coordination of airport shuttle and various tours was excellent- everything was prompt and comfortable
- area around the hotel is absolutely beautiful
-2 for 1 drinks at happy hour was a great deal- drinks were delicious
- private beach was very enjoyable and relaxing
- free breakfast was a huge plus
- walking distance to nearby restaurants (would definitely recommend Emilio’s and Samui) and grocery
Overall an amazing experience for our first time in Costa Rica. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful location and views, but mixed service levels. Built on a hill, transportation is needed to visit the beach but their "shuttle" is usually not available. Turn down and cleaning service might not show up and is poorly done. The service team is friendly and well intentioned but they are badly understaffed. The overall feel of the place is of a tired worn out timeshare hotel long past it's prime.

The property was clean and had decent amenities. The semi private beach was an amazing feature of the property. The service and staff are very friendly albeit sometimes not the most proactive.

Luxurious accommodations and a location with jungle and restaurants a short walk

Los Altos is a wonderful hotel. The grounds are beautiful and like others have said, the wildlife is better than the National park tour! We loved our spacious suite. The food was great and the pool and beach areas were awesome.
The only suggestion I would make is to have better communication regarding tours/transportation. The advance bookings were made through a series of emails and we never got a one sheet PDF with what we booked and payment information. We also needed a lot of cash since we asked to pay for these directly. Small tweaks would really make this smoother and aligned with other CR resort tour experiences.
Overall, highly recommend!

A beautiful and relatively private setting with excellent food and very friendly, accommodating staff. Loved the quiet beach and lovely pool at sunset. A bit frustrating to have washer/dryer in apartment but not be able to access it.

Los Altos was beautiful and serene. The staff was amazing. So helpful, friendly and attentive!

Extremely overpriced and overated! NO VIEW FROM THE ROOM! The shower was full of mold and mildew! There was no service at pool area! Anyone! Not a pleasant experience!

We went to Los Altos for my 45th birthday and it was absolutely amazing! We were in love with the resort from the moment we walked in. The condo is huge and beautifully decorated. The pool has the most gorgeous views and you can see animals while you are sitting there. We actually saw more animals there than we did at the National Park. We asked them about a nice restaurant in the area for my birthday and they surprised me with balloons and a delicious birthday cake. The staff definitely made me feel special. The restaurant had a wonderful breakfast with beautiful views. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Los Altos, we will definitely be back.

Fantastic stay.
Nice employees, wonderful service, great breakfast and an awesome location.

This resort is amazing!!! We saw more wildlife on the grounds than at Manuel Antonio. Sitting at the pool watching monkeys in the trees and Toucans flying overhead. People were so friendly, Rooms were huge, spotless and so beautiful. Food is amazing. 10/10 can’t wait to go back!

The property is clean, beautiful and well maintained. We saw sloths, lizards, lots of monkeys, birds and gorgeous vegetation.

The accommodations at Los Altos are definitely beautiful and spacious. We stayed in a 3 bedroom with a family of 5 and there was more than enough room. The grounds were well kept and the staff was polite and helpful. The breakfasts were great with various cook to order options. There was an abundance of wildlife roaming the property that made my children especially happy. The private beach is underwhelming and very rocky. We ended up taking a taxi to the public beach each day that was much nicer. We have stayed in the Manuel Antonio area many times, but this was our first stay at Los Altos. Overall, I feel like this property is quite overpriced comparing it to the other places we've stayed.

We had an excellent time at Los Altos. All the staff at the hotel were great. Kenneth at the front desk was so nice. All the araganements made through the hotel reservations department (Esteban, Efrain and Saidmon) were handled without issue. We saw more wildlife on the property then
we did on our tour of Manuel Antonio National Park. The first day on our walk down to the beach we came across a bunch of white faced monkeys
that crossed 5 feet in front of us. Later that day at the pool a group of squirrel monkeys came down from the trees and everyone grabbed their camera. The food and the service at the resturant and pool were super. The room was probably the best I have ever stayed in with a fantastic view.

Great hotel near Manuel Antonio National Park. The service was great, the food was excellent. I will definitely come back in the future. They pay attention to detail, which is great.

Esau the bartender was the best part of the experience! He was very helpful and knowledgeable!!

My main disappointment was with the beds and pillows-hard as a rock! I ended up sleeping on the couch the last night of our stay because I simply could not handle another night in that bed. I’ve had better sleep on planes!

I have no complaints, it was beautiful the staff was extremely nice our room was always clean and everything working properly. I had an amazing stay I loved it

The staff service and the view were excellent!
The location in a tropical climate with lush vegetation and a variety of wildlife was superb.
The cushions at the pool area and the living room in the penthouse need replacement though as they were dirty.

Wonderful experience at this amazing boutique resort. Fabulous accommodations with a huge 3 bedroom condo size flat. Small enough resort for personal service in all aspects. The food at the restaurant was actually amazingly good, no matter what we tried, from breakfast buffet to dinner. We didn't eat there all the time but each time we did we were pleasantly surprised. Can’t recommend enough. Including the free private resort tour of their reserved park.

Hospitality was amazing. The employees were so accommodating and helpful. Property was beautiful - the rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The restaurant on property was delicious and breakfast was a highlight. We can’t wait to be back.

Friendly staff, we felt safe and really enjoyed the meals at their onsite restaurants. Will highly recommend this place.

This is one of my favorite resorts I have ever stayed at! The location is incredible and the patio views are beautiful. The property looks even nicer in person than in the photos. There's also a private trail/ beach access on the property where we spotted some monkeys, parrots, & a toucan - was super thrilled. Also the daily breakfast that is included with your stay is top of the line! - Not your average complimentary breakfast. The staff at this resort provided us with 10/10 service & even managed to quickly ship me back my computer tablet that was accidentally left in the room after we checked out. The property, including the area around it feels very safe and the property itself has security. All in all, I cannot recommend this resort enough to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio.

This resort was one of the best Ive ever stayed at. Kenneth was so welcoming. He set all of
our excursions up even our transportation to the hotel from the airport. Upon our arrival he took our bags and escorted us up to our rooms. The suit we had was the rainforest sweet and our view was nothing short of perfect. Our suit in its entirety was amazing! The food downstairs at the restaurant was delicious, all the waiters were good but Johnathan was my favorite. The view from the pool was spectacular & the water was so warm! The drinks weren’t super strong but they tasted great! Everyone that worked there as well as those that we encountered in the area was so pleasant to talk to! . On the excursions except for parasailing they gave you cooked food for lunch and it was so fresh tasting.
The only downfall was that the area we stayed in MANUEL ANTONIO is max 3 hrs from the airport so take that into account when setting up your flights. However if you’re coming for an experience this is the area to stay in as it has everything to do here as far as activities and the beach.
Other than that costa rica owe me NOTHING! Los Altos owes me nothing. I cannot complain at all!

If you are wondering if this place is worth the high price the answer is YES. Everything about it is the best , the service , food, view, room, area, pool. The staff treat you so good here and one amenity that I think is underappreciated is the wild life that hangs out by the pool and hiking trails. I saw 2 different species of Monkey's , Sloths , macaws , other colorful birds , giant iguanas and more. I saw many more animals at this hotel's property than I did at the Manuel Antonio National Park. In fact the hiking trails and wildlife is so great at this hotel why even bother going to the national park? Just relaxing in the pool while toucans and macaws fly over my head and monkeys are climbing right above me (and sometimes running through the pool area itself) was a once in a life time experience . Also while this place seems so secluded you're still a very short walk to cool bars and restaurants.

The property is amazing! Our room had magnificent ocean views!
