Location was amazing. We couldn't have been in a better area with easy access to everything we wanted. We walked everywhere and there was so much locally as well. We watched a few YouTube Florence review things before we went and one of them even said that this street was the best place to stay - after we'd booked it. Loved the fact that the flat has been in the family for decades. It's clearly been beautifully cared for and looked after. Loved all the crockery and general nice touches. There's a lift which really helped as flat is on 3rd floor.
Couldn't have been better! Only suggestion I would make is to maybe put a couple more shelves up in the little bathroom (maybe 2 corner shelves above the loo?) as there wasn't much space to put toiletries and I had to leave my makeup bag and wash bag on the floor. Not a big deal, but were there for a week and would have been nice to have more shelf space to put toiletry stuff out and visible in the bathroom.

Lucia's place was fantastic. Perfect location, near great restaurants with most of the major sites 10-15 walk away. It was peaceful in the evenings but near great bars and nightlife. We absolutely loved our stay and the apartment had great facilities for cooking at home.
Everything was brilliant.

The apartment was very beautiful and a good size for a couple! It was quiet and had a gorgeous view! Florence is very walkable and we were able to see so many sights in our three day stay. Lucia was very communicative and easy to reach. She walked us through the entire apartment and made us feel right at home. It was very nice to stay on the other side of the river, away from the higher concentration of hotels and tourists. We loved having the washing machine, too! We would definitely stay here again or at another Lucia property.
The bed was a bit too hard, but that's just a personal preference.

Being met by the very nice owner, Lucia who showed round us round with very clear explanations. It was exactly as in the photos, very tasteful, clean and SO quiet with views to beautiful gardens. The bed was comfortable, little kitchen was well equipped with washing machine. The lift was great for luggage & after a long day. We could walk easily from here to everything. Being South of the river is much less frenetic than north with its 100s of tourists

Such a cute apartamento, tucked away in my favourite part of town. Quiet yet just steps from San Niccolo bars and restaurants. It was so clean and the view was amazing - better than the photos. A Florentine-sized kitchen with everything you need, plus bonus coffee for the bialetti. I slept on the sofa bed, just single sized but so comfy. Loved this home away from home.
There was nothing to not like - it had the usual quirks of a Florence apartment but that's part of the charm.

The location was close to great restaurants, landmarks and gelato. the view was exceptional.
The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed in a teeny tiny version.

Cozy place with a great view up the gardens towards San Miniato church. Despite proximity to the city centre, it is quite quiet, not facing the street, in a traditional building, third upper floor, on the "other" side of the Arno river. Charming interior with lots of wood. Well equipped kitchen. The building has a lift, but you still have to muster some steps, so not so suitable if you are somewhat handicapped. Cafés, restaurants, ice cream parlor nearby; supermarket some 10 minutes walking distance.
Nothing really. Prepare to meet some mosquitos even in early October.

This apartment is very well located to experience all Florence has to offer. It was quiet at night but close enough to a couple of vibey bars and some very good restaurants. The interior of the apartment is beautiful and well equipped. The host was on hand to meet us, hand over the keys and give us a tour of the apartment. A place you will come back to.

The apartment is rather small, but it has a great vibe. It's full of old furniture and decorations, but it doesn't feel cluttered. What's important, it was really clean! The location is another great advantage - only a few minutes walk to most important museums in Florence, grocery stores and restaurants. At the same time, the apartment had a beautiful view to some gardens.
Because of space restrictions there were some unusual solutions, like the fridge in the living room or some cabinet for cosmetics outside of the bathroom. However, it was not very burdensome.

Apartment has a very good location , close to city center . It has a wonderful vintage style decor and we found it very clean . We had a lovely vacation there and we would return anytime.

Pretty apartment with great view from window of San Miniato al Monte! The photos of the interior do not lie.
Quiet indoors.
Elevator. You need to carry your luggage up only a few stairs.
Well equipped, other than the lack of a wardrobe.
Not the best part of Florence for restaurants. Some touristy places on this street, and an espresso bar that was good for Italian breakfasts (=cake). Otherwise, you'll have to walk 15 minutes either west (Santo Spirito) or north (Santa Croce).
Apart from San Miniato, and the Pitti Palace, this is maybe not the best base for seeing the sights - seek out a quiet but central apartment north of the river for that - but it is still pretty good compared to many other cities.
Minor point: No wardrobe in the apartment to hang your clothes in.

we liked everything about the apartment, from the jewel box of a bathroom to the curtains at the sleeping nook and especially the view over the back gardens and St Mineato Al Monti.

Charming, clean, spacious and quiet apartment. Truly everything we could have wanted for our stay in Florence. Lucia was so kind in welcoming us past the usual checkin hour. And what a beautiful view! We hope to come back one day.

apartment is very clean and comfortable with all the necessary facilities, the owner was very helpful, and the location is a short distance from ponte vecchio
nothing negative to say, just that the bathroom is on the smallish side. it’s perfect if you’re not looking for a large bathroom with bath.

What a lovely flat with a beautiful view to the gardens! A cute small kitchen with all the facilities for cooking. Good location and a walking distance to central Firenze. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy and comfortable. Great location. Very helpful host. Quiet neighborhood.
Door locks in Italy are confusing. Not just this place. I locked myself inside the apartment and had to be rescued. Host was very responsive when it happened and gave me a second set of keys.

The location was excellent. We walked to all points of interest and beyond. The restaurants just below was great and just across the bridge, on Via Dei Neri, which is the street behind the main avenue, we found great places to eat at great prices. And the park just behind the apartment was great specially in the evening when they light the fountains. The view of Venice is magnificent
The entrance in the building could be better kept but it was fine.

Excellent apartment, well equipped, walking distance to major Florence sights, owner very helpful

We loved the central location, proximity to train station, proximity to sights including Michelangelo Square, Duomo, Uffizi Museo, Boboli Gardens...everything! Lucia provided maps, restaurant info, grocery store info. The apartment was super clean and well appointed. We also appreciated the garden view and watching the Great Pyrenees Mountain Dogs in those gardens. Thank very much!
I would have appreciated additional trash bags, another kitchen towel, paper towels or napkins. (we did wish the shower had a little more power and that there was a toilet paper holder, but the stuff we loved outweighted ANY negatives)

From the apartment, you have a breathtaking view of San Miniato church and Bardini gardens! The apartment is tastefully decorated in Florentine style, with hardwood floors, wood beamed high ceilings and patterned textiles. You have everything you need, including a washing machine. There is also an elevator leading up to the apartment. The area is quiet as it is across the river, but all the major sights are within walking distance. Our host, Lucia, was gracious and kind and gave us all the necessary information. It was a perfect base from which to explore historic Florence and the Oltrarno in particular. I would highly recommend the apartment to experience living in a local neighborhood.
The beds were firm and the bathroom was small.
