Amazing reception by Crofdon when we arrived. Very informative of the nearby town and a wonderful host. Apartment was brilliantly equipped for our short stay and the facilities at this lovely accommodation were nothing short of perfect. Will definitely be back.

Plenty of space, well equipped apartment, with comfortable beds and plenty of good quality towels. Plenty of parking space. Appreciated cold water and milk in fridge on our arrival.
A clothes drying rack would have been helpful. I wish we had known about the possibility to book a hot tub slot before we arrived - We would have enjoyed some time relaxing in the garden.

We enjoyed our stay in Ashbrook House Apartments.
The apartment was very cosy and clean, property and lovely garden and mostly gorgeous animals were a great addition to our stay ( especially our daughter that is missing the ponies already).

Was clean
Host was very unwelcoming and rude fist thing she said was you have a dog nó one told me that will be 25 pounds extra and I want paid straight away and keep the dog on a lead because my dog will eat it if he gets him. Next thing was And you have two children no one told me. my booking was for a 4 year old and I requested a cot for my baby witch equals 2 children.
On our second day off the trip we left our dog in the apartment witch is fully housed trained and is a zuchon Teddy bread dog to go for a quick bit to eat.
15 minutes later I received a email from the host and a phone call saying you must get back to the apartment immediately your dog is barking and if that dog does any damage you will pay for it.
So we rushed back worried about our dog who was fine the only dog what was barking all the time was there own dog.
After that we decided to cut our trip short by one day as we felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome not even an apology from the host shock her shoulders and didn't care

The apartment has all mod cons, everything you need, iron/ironing board, dishwasher, washing machine, a fully kitted out kitchen. Comfortable beds.
Free WiFi is very much appreciated as local phone signal is sketchy.
Apartment is beautifully decorated and the grounds are manicured. Gorgeous setting, with a walk around a pond, mini ponies and alpaca on site. Everything is beautifully kept and looked after and so very clean.
Dogs welcome on a lead, ideal for morning/evening stroll without leaving property.
Property is gated and very secure, hosts had left tea/coffee and milk in fridge for a hot cuppa on arrival.
Although a rural location very easy access to main roads to go North or South. Excellent location, we used it as a base to visit Northern Ireland, including Giant's Causeway, Portrush, Lough Neagh.
We stayed in the attic apartment, where there is a set of steep concrete steps to the front door. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or very young kids.
It's an attic room so there were a few cases of bumped heads off walls, even though we, as a family, are not tall.
The shower is located inside the bedroom, without a separate door. So if sharing the bedroom (sleeps 4) there is no privacy, perhaps a frosted shower door could alleviate this? We had to wait until everyone was up and take turns in the shower while others vacated bedroom.
Price for dog: extra £25

Free access to walk around the grounds, and look at the animals.
Come and go to the accommodation as you liked.
Milk, tea & coffee there waiting on arrival, a lovely gesture.
Couldn't fault a thing, 2night stay for 2 adults and 4 children, lovely location and great hosts, highly recommend.
