With 360 degree views that include the mountains and the amazing colors of Bear Lake. This incredible property has 8.5 bathrooms including a second apartment/suite complete with full kitchen and living room and private bath. Located just a mile up the road from the Reserve's private clubhouse, the Hidden Chateau has access to two swimming pools, hot tub, playground, sports courts, exercise room and an expansive private beach.

This was an amazing experience for us all. The home accommodated our large family beautifully and the kitchen had room for each family to bring their own food! There was some fun in the cabin for all ages and the view of the lake spectacular. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Everyone agrees we should do it again in two years!!

We really enjoyed our time at the Hidden Chateau. We had 30 people, but the home could have easily fit many more. There were plenty of rooms for parents with additional space for kids. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and there was plenty of refrigerator space to hold all of our perishables. There were a variety of spaces available for everyone to gather for visiting, playing games, or watching movies.
It was inconvenient to have just one fob to access the amenities: when you are hosting up to 50 people, it would be nice to have multiple fobs so that the group can split up, if desired.
Only one room had an issue: the Victorian (upstairs king) was quite a bit warmer than the rest of the home and wouldn't cool down, despite using multiple fans. The A/C could not be turned down further without causing the unit to freeze up so the couple in that room was just uncomfortable.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and everyone in our group said they would return if the opportunity arose. Thank you so much for making this lovely home available!

Our family has been renting cabins at Bear Lake for 17 years. Our family has grown during those years so we keep needing a larger cabin to accommodate everyone. The Hidden Chateau was perfect for our family. Every couple had a private bedroom and there were bedrooms with multiple beds where the unmarried cousins could stay together. There were plenty of bathrooms and they all worked well. (We've had a couple of cabins where there were plenty of bathrooms but they didn't all work.) The kitchen was well stocked with labels on the drawers and cupboards so we knew where to find items and where to put them away. Two dishwashers made cleaning up after meals fast and easy. The family enjoyed the pool table and the theater room.
When we arrived at the Hidden Chateau the heating/cooling system was turned to heat. Upstairs it was about 80°. I called Julie who apologized and contacted the owner. The air conditioning came on soon after my phone call. I appreciated the quick response.
This was the second summer that we've stayed at the Hidden Chateau. We plan to come back.

This is an outstanding home for a large family gathering. We have stayed at four other properties in the Reserve and this is far superior. The large kitchen, gathering space, and many bedrooms made this the best!!

Loved the house. Very roomy and well furnished. We would certainly come again. The view was magnificent.
My only complaint is that I would like to have had control of the thermostat. It was quite cold the first couple of days and the thermostat was locked on cool and the house was cold.

All we heard from family members was how perfect this place was for our family! We could be together or in separate areas in the house. Teens loved the beach access and pools. Pre-teens loved the video games and theater room. Parents loved the theater room for littles to have downtime after having a blast in the Lego room or going for a swim. The kitchen was completely stocked for meal prep/serving and cold storage.
We chose this house to accommodate a young adult in a wheelchair and the garage ramps and access on the main level for family activities.
The management team was very responsive before and after the booking! I highly recommend this house for large group or family gatherings!

This is one of our most favorite properties to house our writers' retreats. The property is always clean, well-maintained, and frequently breathtaking! It's perfect for large gatherings and retreats, with gorgeously appointed bedrooms and a fully-stocked kitchen. Highly recommended!

The place was perfect for our huge group. Beautiful view of Bear lake. Only thing I wish would change is the house has its own hot tub, since the club house was closed. Other than that it was great!

Well stocked Kitchen, beautiful views, lots of room for all of us. The host was great as all items were in stock, including plenty of garbage bags, spices, paper towels, TP, etc. We loved it!

The rental can handle large groups well. For our family reunion all age groups had a lot to do and space to do it with the max number attending. It never felt crowded or too noisy. The kitchen is very well stocked. Bathrooms are well stocked with towels. Two dishwashers were so helpful. We loved having the option of going to the clubhouse.

The manager (julie) was a joy to deal with. Whenever I called or texted she was very responsive and pleasant. The view was very nice and there was plenty of room. The "lego" room was perfect for the children. the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. This property was not in excellent condition. Several door handles were very loose. The walls were nicked and scraped with paint missing in spots. There was a hole in one of the walls. The floor in parts was in need of repair. The decorative stone work was falling off or missing outside. The equipment in the theater room had no working remotes. Pool table would have been better if the rack was there. Also only having one FOB for a large group was frustrating when you need it for the pool and the beach. Overall my family enjoyed our stay and the facility was adequate.

Beautiful vacation rental with lots of room!
Plenty of room for our large family. Teenagers loved it too! 3 refrigerators. Great private beach access! Nice pools for adults and little kids, hot tub, exercise room, sports court, theater room. We loved our stay!

Hidden Chateau at Bear Lake
The accommodations at the Hidden Chateau were very nice. Everything was quite comfortable. We just ran into two issues that could be improved. The first is a bit minor but they could use some additional towels for each bathroom.
The second is much more significant. We rented this house with the intention of utilizing the wheelchair accessible ramp however the ramp in the garage was blocked by a truck that was being stored there. This made it very difficult and nearly resulted in an accident, as we tried to navigate around the truck and onto the ramp. We needed the ramp and was glad it was there but it just seemed strange that a truck would be parked to block an accessible ramp. We contacted the host a few different times but they were unable to get the truck moved. This proved to be quite difficult each day, a bit embarrassing for the member of our party in a wheelchair, and nearly dangerous.

Excellent for Large Family Reunions!
The Hidden Chateau was perfect for our family reunion of 50, including 9 households plus adult children. For the most part, we were able to accommodate everyone's needs. Access to the private beach and the clubhouse amenities meant we didn't have to plan a ton of activities and compensated for the limited outdoor play space. The kitchen was well stocked and labeled. Bathrooms were sufficient for all since we were just hanging out together and weren't trying to get ready for any events en masse. The layout allowed for good traffic flow and fit everyone. For the few issues that came up, Julie was very responsive. The top floor got a bit warm in July, but most rooms were manageable. The one improvement I would recommend would be better cell service, but that's outside management's control. Everyone agreed we want to return.

Wonderful home
Home was more then big enough for us all. The kitchen is amazing. With 34 people staying there and 41 total for breakfast and dinners it was not congested or over crowded at all. The property was beautiful with amazing views.

Stunning Stay!
The Hidden Chateau is always a wonder for our groups! My authors love staying here - inspired by stunning views, luxurious accommodations, spacious areas to write, and wonderful congregating areas. The furnishings are beautiful, and the decor is artistic and fun. We love it here.

Our Family of 40 had a wonderful time at this very room and fun place. The home is full of fun rooms and a hidden game room! The pool and beach were fantastic. Julie the property manager was wonderful!

It is a great place for a large gathering. Plenty of beds, plenty of space to relax, the kitchen is fully equipped, lots of electronics to enjoy and great views. The pool and hot tub at the resort and the private beach allow for a multitude of activities.

Wonderful experience
The cabin was clean & well stocked for our big family! The beds were super comfy! The grass was dead in many places. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & hope we can return soon. Julie was fabulous to work with. She answered all my silly questions! Thank you!!

A wonderful weekend
An absolutely spectacular home with views from every window, and SO much space to spread out. So many places to sleep, relax and visit... the house just keeps going and going! It was equipped with almost everything you would possibly need. From board games, video games, every possible kitchen item, etc. There is NO soap, shampoo or conditioner...which is pretty standard on any other high end VRBO we've stayed at. Other than that, we had everything we needed and more. The clean up as you prepare to leave is intense, but mostly because the house is so big! And with check out being 10 AM, it makes for an early morning to get it all done and get out the door. The only thing that was burdensome was having to carry out our own trash. Seemed a bit much to ask on top of a hefty price tag for the nightly rental. I was grateful we had a truck with us. Had we needed to put the trash in a car, it would've been very irritating. So just be certain someone has a truck! Careful opening ANY blinds... we struggled to close some of them after they were opened. They've just been beat up. Other than those few minor things, we could not have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate as a family. The views alone are worth the price of admission! We would absolutely stay again...

"This is Like the Bachelor Mansion!"
We had 37 at the Hidden Chateau for a family reunion. Wow, what a spot!!! So much room to roam, we barely saw the 15 kiddos all week! The spaciousness of the kitchen made it easy to prepare meals for the crowd. And, I've never seen a kitchen stocked so well, with every drawer and cupboard labeled for ease in finding utensils. Beautiful amenities with pools, slide, tennis, pickleball, basketball and private beach area. Would've been helpful to have a second fob accessible, to allow multiple recreation options at the same time, but we figured it out. A fantastic and well-appointed home, with a very accessible and helpful rental manager in Julie. WE ALREADY DECIDED - WE'LL BE BACK!!!

Great House with amazing view
This house has a beautiful view. The kitchen is very well stocked. Plenty of room for our family reunion with 42 people. It shows a little wear but I expect that from a house that holds this number of people but it didn’t detract too much from the beauty of the home. The beds were very comfortable. Julie was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The subdivision pool was a great plus. We definitely would love to come back and stay in this wonderful home.

Perfect for Our Group
We host a leadership training every year for parents who have children with disabilities. Our plans to stay here last year fell through due to the pandemic. Bear Lake Premium Cabins pivoted without hesitation and moved our dates to exactly one year later. The house was stunning and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen is massive and allowed us to cook easily for 10-12 people and all parents had their own rooms. We were also able to break up our intensive learning in various spaces - the main living room, the theater room, the game room, and even the upstairs living room - where we could use the screens for PowerPoints or have interactive conversations and activities. The views were spectacular and each room was beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend this property.

We had 30 family members in our group. Every single one fell in love with the Chateau and the surrounding towns. We could not have been treated any better. It was hard to leave. We do a family reunion trip every year and we've had some very special ones but we all agree this is the most fun we have ever had. It was our first winter/snow vacation but it will not be our last. Thank you to everyone who made our vacation a wonderful experience.
