No hubo desayuno!

The location was great. Close to Walmart and the trolley bus to town. Nice plants and decoration. Autonomous entry, if needed. Good wifi. My room had an old fridge, which was useable. Bed was comfy and room was quiet. I liked the design- bamboo and wall paper of a forest.
As others have said, the description of the facilities are misleading. There is no kitchen and rooms do not have tea and coffee making facilities. There is a microwave, toaster oven, fridge and hot water machine in reception, with a few cups, some coffee, sugar and milk. However you can't prepare food there and there is no cutlery, crockery, etc. I stayed in a 4 person room because the price was the same as a double and I wanted more space. I specifically asked NOT to get the room I ended up getting ( the one with a bed over another bed). I hit my head several times and it was hard to move around the bed ( which was also the couch). The room description also said there was a seating area, but that wasn't true either. The reason I couldn't get the room I wanted was because the people had not checked out. One problem with this accommodation is it's not clear who works there and how to contact them. There is no official check in and check out procedure. It would be useful to put a sign on the door where the family lives that says "office" and workers / owners should be available at check in and check out times. I arrived on a Sunday so I can't comment about other days. As said by others there is a lack of places to put your stuff, no bedside cabinets, scratchy towels, many stairs, and rooms need some basic maintenance. The chair for the desk was a deckchair, which was ripped, so I asked to use a plastic deck chair instead.

The rooms are beautiful. I got an upgrade without even asking for one. The location is great. Everything went smoothly even though I only booked 30min in advance at 22pm. Highly recommended

I reached out to change the reservation, got a response and was given a fee double of the original one. when I checked the new costs on booking for the weekend I was planning to visit, I noticed it was the same original one so I ended up losing the reservation. I’m sure it’s a beautiful and convenient place but if your plans change, you lose your money.

The location was fine. Balcony in the room was fine, too.
The hotel did not absolutely match its description on Booking.com: ridiculously weak wifi connection; there are no tea/coffee maker in the room but only a dispenser of (warm, not hot) water in the common area on the 1st floor and a little bit of soluble coffee; to get to my room there were three steep spiral staircases, and no help from the staff with the luggage.
In the room (called "business with access to gym") there is no access to any gym. The bathroom is supernarrow, in it all is rusty or dirty or broken (see photos). It also constantly stinks awfully because of dirty pipes; some days there was no hot water! Apparently no cleaning of it during my stay.
The furniture is old and cracked and you always bump into it because the room is narrow; there is no wardrobe, only some hangers in a corner; the mattress is really a foam mat, broken, old and dirty; under the bed are lots of dust. One small item of mine I had bought as a gift disappeared, and the reply from the property was late and inconclusive.

Quiet location within walking distance from Frida Kahlo museum
Due to internal spiral staircases some rooms may be difficult to reach for people with mobility issues.

I spent one week in the Hotel! We had a lovely time there. We received exceptional service! We got a room upgrade from the host! The Hotel is within walking distance of Frida Khalo and Coyoacan. Highly recommended
