Anything to get an extra buck out of you

Room was nice and clean but a little small, walking around the small town was amazing, spectaculair views and great to have an airconditioned room !

I wasn’t very happy with the sudden up charge for 40 euros for each of my children to put some sheets and pillows on the pull-out sofa. $100 dollars is crazy expensive for a bed being made in the room that was already assigned to us. They said they weren’t aware of my children coming but all other 8 hotels we booked on the same day and profile were aware of this. Anything to get an extra buck! We won’t be back!!

Great boutique hotel! comfortable and stylish and in a really nice area. great restaurant with beautiful garden seating just down the road, funicular/cable car to amazing view point across the street and yummy breakfast.

Highly recommended. The room with hot tub is perfect for couples.

Very nice staff and neat room. Our room had a hot tub (of course we had paid for it) and it was very warm, nice and enjoyable. The hotel is very close to a few good restaurants and the train station.

There should have been a trash can inside the room apart from the one in the bathroom. Also, the water took quite long time to heat up, but it's understandable in this season with this exceptional temperature.

A beautiful Swiss experience

Newly renovated. Everything new and well designed. Dynamic, responsive staff. Breakfast was unbeatable. Comfy beds. Excellent location right near train station and centre of town. Also liked the scenes of Switzerland around the hotel which along with other aspects of our stay, made it a big part of a beautiful Swiss experience!

Buddha bar on main floor. Not a great feel when came in at night but it seemed to only be on Saturday night and we didn't hear anything from our room.

Good base in a beautiful town

Lovely location and price is reasonable for the area. The breakfast was good and staff very helpful and friendly. Proximity to Stanserhornbahn and paths up the mountain was useful and very close to the local restaurants and sites. Also very close to the train station making life very easy.

Cigarette smoke from the bar in the building made its way into the hotel.

Lovely, friendly, relaxing boutique hotel - with a fantastic breakfast and lovely staff!

We loved the friendly staff, the comfy rooms/beds, the beautiful view and the fantastic breakfast! Hard to find a reasonably priced boutique hotel in Switzerland: this is the one! We are definitely coming back! (We are not based in the UK, despite review saying so: we're based in the Netherlands)

When we arrived (late due to traffic), the check-in was effortless, but, unfortunately, there was no food available. A light snack from the bar (which was still open) would have been lovely after a very tiring journey. No other restaurants in the neighbourhood were open - except Burger King (which the kids loved ;-) ). Also, the rates are quite high but this is normal in Switzerland. This is also the only reason why I indicated we were less impressed with the value for money. Not the hotel's fault: Switzerland is expensive in general. And this is what you need to pay to get the hotel/rooms we are after.

Clean modern rooms, air conditioning, room for 3 guests, good breakfast.

Garbage bin was not empty in our room, the hotel is located next to railway (regional trains) so you can't sleep with opened windows. There is no parking in the hotel, you need coins to pay for on-street parking.
