Pleasant for one night!

Conveniently located to the beach and other amenities. Staff were generally pleasant - front desk was very helpful with local info at checkin.

The property looks tired - many spots are rusty and appears that maintenance is rather sparse. Air-conditioning operated with its own calling in life and was maxed out at 18°C - the alternative was switching it off!

The location was next to the sea. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bed was not so comfortable and the breakfast was poor. The swimming pool was closing at 18:00.

Lovely staff, do anything for you. Hotel is old and in disrepair. Food options limited.

Great location. Easy cab to the centre, loads of nearby restaurants and bars. Upgraded to a top floor suite upon arrival. Fabulous, comfortable breakfast.

Upgraded to a suite with a jacuzzi and a huge balcony. No furniture on the balcony. The jacuzzi didn’t work. The plug didn’t keep the water in the bath. The shower pressure was very weak. The temperature gap between freezing cold and hot enough to take your skin off, very small and difficult to find. The toilet flusher required a technique which I was able to master the day we left.

The internet connection was pure in-fact it was only available in the lobby , at the room not. The rooms aren't sound proof , you hear all the guest when they close the door. The tv isn't smart , can't watch Netflix ect. Not heating either air conditioner Isn't working in the room. The pool you can't use either the sun-beds even though it's hot because it's not by the pool for use. Cleaners start working loud on the hallway from 7am in the morning which is bothering.

The hotel is tastefully decorated. Most of the products in the breakfast menu were tasty.

-No soundproofing. You hear everything from every side. Bring earbuds. - Breakfast was poor. Very few options. Most of the desserts were frozen. -The bathroom was the real nightmare. Too small, with a shower cabin so small, it's more like a vertical coffin. You couldn't reach your back or feet, it was that tight. Moreover, water kept splashing outside, so after a shower the whole of the bathroom was flooded. It was not a pleasurable experience to use the bathroom. Also, their toilet doesn't properly flush. The bathroom experience is the reason I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel.

Won’t visit again

Not bad but i ordered 2 fried eggs which isn’t included in the breakfast and they costed 8 euors.

Poor air conditioning system, couldn’t sleep at nIght. And the hotel needs a good renovation. The doors of the balcony needs to be changed cause you can’t see through them and broke my nails trying to open them.

The dirtiest city I have been too in Europe.

The staff and hotel are amazing, really helpful and due to my very lack of Italian treated me like a human. So anything for you with a genuine smile.

This is nothing against the hotel and staff but the location is absolutely disgusting. The rubbish outside the hotel grounds. The lava grounds near the ocean and worst of all the plastic in the ocean was so so sad to see. Witnessed so many people just throwing there rubbish/smoke butts on the ground and into the ocean and these were young people. I was absolutely blown away how many smoke butts on the ground and on the rock Beach's. No respect for the environment at all. There is seriously nothing to do in that area, it's a horrible 20 minute bus ride into city to do anything but that was disgusting as well with really no outstanding features at of the dirtiest cities I have visited. Don't be fooled by lovely photos, it's a rubbish dump. The lack of respect for the rules is amazing. Certainly do not take young children on holiday there.

Great space!

Location was perfect to visit Etna and wineries. Nice ce we fl main road location, very quiet at night. Hosts are great , everything and more supplied, above all others we gAve stayed. A vice espresso machine, naturals water bottles supplied in the refrigerator cold already. Excellent! Street floor -no steps! Large space fir an extended stay would be great!

stayed for one night and it was fine for that one night. Wanted something close to the ocean but the area wasn’t the greatest. food was decent.

it was worn out , old, had a musty smell when I first entered the room.

We enjoyed our stay but would not rush back to Catania---would not go to Italy in May if pools

It is accepted as clean.

The clerk mostly does not spek English eventhough Catania is a famous place for foreigners. The water closet is not working properly. The breakfast is very limited. The safe case is broken. The furniture is old and worn. The room is small comparing to other twin bed rooms.
