We had a lovely time at Muri Beach resort. Particularly happy with the buffet breakfast next door. There is parking for vehicles and very good access to the beach. Pool is also great for kids and sea gear (kayaks, snorkels, reef shoes, paddle boards are provided). Staff are around the resort are very friendly. Very good housekeeping to.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and serviced regularly. Books available in office were good for the rainy days.
Tv not really watchable - maybe a dvd player and movies for the rainy days.

The location was really great. There were many cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. The family enjoyed using the kayaks and other water gear. The staff at Muri Beach Resort were very professional and helpful. The grounds around the resort were kept very tidy. We were always greeted with a friendly kiaorana.
We had booked 2 two-bedroom villas and 1 one-bedroom villa and when we arrived we discovered we were in 3 apartments. Two had two bedrooms but the other had a bed in the lounge, not a bedroom as we originally thought. The apartments were showing signs of wear and tear and would benefit from a complete upgrade. However all of the family enjoyed their holiday.

The gardens were lovely, the location perfect, and the quiet nature of the resort was just heavenly
Our room was not as advertised. We booked a “villa with lagoon views” but got an “apartment with garden view” which was dark and not what was pictured at all. They acknowledged that there were inconsistencies so gave us free breakfasts for the week which we accepted but sort of regretted that as the room was just so far from what was pictured and described. But still, we had a lovely time. I do recommend this place if you want a quiet place instead of a resort playing music all the time, just talk to the resort first so you are totally clear about what room you are booking. It was also not clear to us when booking that the room would not be serviced but they didn’t do anything to compensate this. I thought the booking.com info was incorrect about this topic but I wasn’t 100% sure, so be careful when you book.

We loved the location of the resort and being able to pop over to Nautilus. The staff were friendly and helpful although just one in particular mucked up a booking for us which meant we missed out on the cultural experience. The pool was lovely and the gardens were immaculate.
We felt the value for money did not meet expectations. We paid a lot per night for the room which was average. We were then expected to pay extra for our room to be cleaned, breakfast and airport transfers. The restaurant was closed for renovations and the bar on the beach front was not open either. The 'free' snorkel gear also needs to be checked for standards as they were leaking and not well kept.
Overall the resort was a nice place but for the $520 per night I expected better.

It was very spacious and lots of seating areas for two families with teens. Two great bathrooms and good kitchen. Nice pool. The welcome breakfast food in the fridge was a nice and unexpected touch. Scooter hire close by. A lot of bug spray - thank you. And mosquito coils. So good.
The wasps. We spent a lot of time killing them and destroying nests. The house is a little tired and could do with a thorough clean. Dishwashwer is faulty. Rang it in but no one came.

Very friendly and accommodating staff~ Easy and accessible pool, paddle board, and snorkel gear. Great restaurant and complimentary cook to order hot breakfast~
Some of the equipment and facilities in the room are worn out. The pool closed 2hrs earlier than what was posted on the signs.

The location was great. Staff were friendly. Pool was awesome. We were given some fruit and a welcome breakfast basket which was great. Easy walking to good food places.
There is not much difference between a lagoon view room and garden room except that one is a bit closer to the beach. Couldnt see the lagoon from the room so next time I would get a garden room.

Location was fantastic.
Great to have the use of the paddle boards but they were under inflated and poor quality with no good paddles without going to borrow from the sister resort.
The room was supposed to be a lagoon view room and it clearly wasn't however it was clean and comfortble.

Amazing views and staff were amazing
Some of the fixtures were old and needed replacing

Rooms were a good size and had excellent equipment to support own cooking.
Restaurant and bar were no longer open the sister property that you could use was expensive with limited food options not that child friendly.
Lack of bar facility and good food options were a let down for the property.

Lovely small resort with large self catering villas in a great position on Muri Lagoon with beautiful gardens . Loved it’s eco friendly iniatives(eg solar power, waste treatment, drinkable tap water )
Cafe and bar was advertised but not operating during peak July season in 2022. Internet was very variable . Could have used solar power to heat the pool as it was pretty cold in July .

It was a great little bungalow. Had everything we needed. Great location.
The shower unfortunately had poor pressure and the shower head really needed replacing. It was really annoying.

Good location on the edge of Muri. Close enough to access the facilities, far enough out so as to not have the hassle of people around. Nice pool as an alternative to the beach. Good sized rooms, well equipped.
Would have been nice if the café/bar had longer hours and had been open on all days. Strange that it was closed on Monday's because to holiday makers it does not matter if it is a weekend or a weekday, all days are the same.
