More than we expected. This is a very large home and a great place for our family to meet. I recommend it to any group.

The property is beautiful. We loved the sunsets, kayaks and paddle boards. The property manager is very kind and answered our questions quickly. My only tip would be if you have a large enough group to book multiple cottages I would highly recommend it, in hindsight I wish we would have booked at-least two, that way you can make this property your own private vacation oasis!

Loved this property so much- it’s like a private resort. We had the best time! Plenty of space and a nice big table where we shared meals. It was so nice that the resort had things to do for our teens- they went paddle boarding and kayaking every day, and played cornhole as well. Highly recommend!

Outstanding for pups and people
Extremely dog friendly. Our house had their own little play yard, while the beach area had many dispensers of waste bags. The grounds were very well maintained and the staff was friendly. Kayaks and canoes are supplied and it's an easy entry onto the water from the beach area.

Amazing!
We had the absolute best time! The property was beautiful and very well maintained. The property manager was quick to respond and the grounds keepers were so kind. The sunsets were literally out of this world. We brought our boat and the docks were easy to use. We had fun kayaking and paddle boarding. The house had all the amenities we could’ve asked for! We’ll be back!

Blessed by Jesus with an Amazing Home & Location
We were supposed to go to the Bahamas and our flights got cancelled. We switched to the keys and found this place. We weren’t sure about the location or the water, but it turned out better than we could have imagined! The location of this place is the best location in the bay! The paddle boards and kayaks were so much fun. We went to the mangrove island and on down to some really clear water. We spent hours in the kayaks and rented wetsuits right across the street. We snorkeled right off the beach and from the kayak.
There is so much life right there. My husband and our son caught over 20 fish ; lots of different kinds.
At sunrise I would go out to pray, break bread, blow my shofar and spend time with Jesus. I was blessed with dolphins and manatees swimming by; I missed the sea turtle. We saw two nurse sharks, starfish , slugs or snails, orange coral at the mangrove island, and so many types of fish.
Every day we kayaked with manatees and it was so wonderful! In looking up and down the bay in the kayak, we had the best set up for a beach area and great toys. I would have loved the water bicycle thing they had at the resort next door so maybe they could get one lol.
The house is big with plenty of room and we grilled and cooked. We met the other families staying there and it was just so wonderful! It’s like having your own private resort.
We went to Islamorada to go to Robbies marina to feed the tarpon by hand. I would totally recommend that! We saw a family of three manatees that hang out there and the tarpon feeding is wild! There are a lot of pelicans that try to steal your fish so it’s like a little wild kingdom. The water turns a different color there than in the bay.
We also went to the Everglades and the alligator farm; only 33 miles from the house. Took an airboat tour there and saw wild gators!! Amazing !!!
We did an ecotour in the mangroves and got to go in the canals and see iguanas and on the House property.
The restaurants near by are all amazing and we went to a family owned Cuban Resturant near Publix which was so yummy!!!
Not enough can be said about the experience. It truly was a blessing to our family and I’m so glad we found this place in Key Largo!

Funky fun
We had a wonderful time at the house in Key Largo. To say that the decorations are funky is an understatement. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this huge comfortable four bedroom house with king size beds and everyone. The master suite is something to behold. Three sinks, a mini fridge, a dressing room, whirlpool tub in the room… You name it, it had it!

Amazing!
We’re a family with 6 children and a couple of friends, so a total of 10. This house was perfect! The location offered something for everyone. Our 4 years got to play in calm water at the sallow water ... while our older son could snorkel, paddle board and fish.

Beautiful Stay Beautiful Sunsets
The house is much larger than it appears from the outside with a great split plan. Our family spent a good portion of the night at the bar inside the house enjoying each other's company. There were only 2 negatives, 1 the ice machine did not work, and the jacuzzi tub didn't work. Other than that all was great

Absolutely amazing
With how wild the week was that we stayed in the resort, it was so wonderful to have such a relaxed, private place to stay. The beach was gorgeous and the house is just as beautiful as in pictures. We loved having the large dining room table, perfect for our family dinners each night.

Spent the week with good friends and this property met all our needs. Really enjoyed the beach. We used the kayaks and paddle boards that were available at the waterfront. Had a surprise visit from manatees right at the dock. Would recommend this property.

great family vacation
Our family of 10, 6 adults and 4 grandkids shared the 4 bedrooms. Very roomy and comfortable. The house has it's own fenced yard with grill and play area. The resort beach and dock was wonderful. Has plenty of toys, kayaks boards and several lounging areas with chairs. The kids loved swimming and building sand castles. We barbecued at the beach one night. Snooks bayside is very close by, great happy hour on the water. Key Largo has lots to do or just relax at the beach. We will definitely be back next year. One suggestion, could use new mattresses on the beds. Amazing house!

Family Scuba trip
The house was amazing. Plenty of room for our family excursion to scuba dive at the Keys. Did some snorkeling at the private beach and saw manatees and a small nerf shark. Everyone was friendly and offered information on great places to eat. Tom was wonderful.

We did a family vacation in the Keys- despite some rain the first few days we all enjoyed the place. We all had tons of space to spread out. We found our favorite place to eat at Key Bites-delicious! Our neighbors on the property was absolutely great. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Perfect location for family fun!
A perfect location for our three families! We rented the four bedroom house. We had 6 adults and 4 children (ages 1.5-17yrs). We absolutely loved the private beach with all the amenities: kayaks, paddle boards, floats, lounge chairs, hammocks, and a super clean restroom with shower to rinse off the salt water. We didn't venture far from Dream Bay Resort - it had everything we needed for a most memorable family reunion!

Very good location, large house great for a big group. Close to ocean.

We had a great time on the property, plenty of amenities to enjoy and a fantastic location. The four bedroom house had plenty of room, was clean and the kitchen and dining areas accommodated everyone with room to spare. Juan and Ariana were very personable and do a great job managing the property. Sunsets, fishing, manatees, kayaking/bar hopping...we miss it already! Great value!!!!

spacious home and sweet gated property in a lovely location on the water... we got lucky with awesome weather, as well. what more could you ask for?!
1.5 / 5.0
We loved our time in Key Largo. We were a family of 6 plus 2 babies staying in Tropicasa. The resort itself includes a private little beach area along with kayaks, paddle boards, hammocks, tiki huts, a pier, privacy, everything you could ask for! We had a great time snorkeling and there were even several manatees that frequented the area and we saw them almost every day. Very relaxing!
For the value in the area, the home was very good. The Keys book up pretty quickly and we really enjoyed Key Largo as opposed to some of the middle islands that we visited.
There were a few issues, though, that bring the rating down for this house specifically. Again, resort area was very good, the house we stayed in just had some issues. The house was very large and the kitchen was nice - plenty of room. But some things did not work: Multiple light switches didn't work, the oven overhead vent didn't work, several dining room chairs and barstools were broken, and at least one bedroom door would jam shut and be difficult to open. Two of the bathrooms had visible mold, which we know is somewhat inevitable at the beach with the humidity. There were also sand fleas in one of the bathrooms - again, might be inevitable at the beach. Some odds and ends just needed to either be cleaned or updated like air vent covers, baseboards, etc. Maybe add a new rug or two to the bathrooms. The place just needed lots of TLC.
This house specifically is not fully within the gate of the resort. It's actually just outside the gate, but the back door opens into the gated section. Not really a big deal but it's important to mention. I would definitely stay at this resort again, but we'd probably go for one of the other houses on the property.

We enjoyed the Christmas holidays at this large home. There were 8 of us, so the 4 bedrooms worked out very well. The communal area of the home was large and accommodating for our group. The property manager, Sabrina, was responsive to any and all needs. The beach-front amenities of the paddle boards, kayaks, lounge chairs, etc. were wonderful. We even snorkeled right from the property into the bay and saw pretty fish, manatees, starfish and live coral on our snorkel adventure!
2.0 / 5.0
We enjoyed being able to go down to the water and watch sunsets. Big fenced in yard with outside sitting. We had 7 people and it was comfortable. Big kitchen but some things need repair/replacement. Loved the ice maker and it made us laugh because it sounded like a dishwasher. Dryer didn't dry well. A lot of switches we couldn't figure out what they were for.
2.5 / 5.0
The home was spacious and very clean. Access to the water was only a short walk away and with the walk-in private beach it was perfect for our little ones. We had a wonderful weekend and would recommend!
1.5 / 5.0
We had a great time and really loved the access to the water, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Also loved that it was pet friendly. The house was huge and great for groups and families. The check-in/out process was smooth and the price is reasonable. My only complaint would be that the house is showing some wear and tear. The linens are dingy, the pillows smell and the bathrooms were a bit moldy. I did appreciate the newer bath towels. The decor is very gaudy. I would recommend some updating.
2.5 / 5.0
We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our family. The beach and common areas was well kept. We meet some of the most lovely people that live on the premises. We plan to return.
