Everything about this guest house is perfect it's in walking distance to the town and beach it's spotlessly clean I haven't stayed in a guest house for years I'm usually in hotels but I'm so glad I picked this one the owner sue gave us a lovely welcome and nothing was to much trouble I would deffenatly stay again .

loved the place.. the guest house, beach, town and all the walks in between

location - minutes walk to the Beach and minutes walk to the town centre. Owner/staff - very friendly and knowledgable of the area and tourist sites; Room - comfortable and spacious bathroom and tea/coffee galore. loved it

would be great if breakfast was served even if it was just Devon scones and tea/coffee.

A delightful guest house

Sue was fantastic, very helpful and friendly. A clean and comfortable room with plenty of tea and coffee. A fresh bottle of milk and water was in our fridge.

A wonderful gem of a guest house.

Our host Sue was warm and welcoming, and our fridge was always well stocked. The room itself was immaculately clean, freshly decorated in a kind of Scandi style, with gentle hints of the sea. The bed was even more comfortable than the one at my own home! The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. The beautiful sandy beach at Exmouth was within a short walking distance and there were plenty of water sports activities taking place. There were numerous choices of places to eat out at, and Sue's recommendations were spot on too. Would defintely recommend Summerwind Guest House.

Everything the location perfect 10min town centre 10 min the other way beach,the owner was lovely fresh milk fresh towel room tidied if we wanted ,bottles of water ,if we wanted anything just ask lovely lady ,we will be coming back

The host Sue was brilliant nothing was too much for her

The room was spotlessly clean very comfortable bed and very well decorated. Highly recommend this accommodation for easy access to the beach, town and buses. There are some very nice local restaurants near by.

would recommend / go back .. loads of nice food places nearby .. I really liked manor gardens and the bumble and bee

The room was very comfortable, all needs cater for. Sue the owner was very friendly and looked after us very well. Although breakfast not included, Sue suggested the Dockside cafe where we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast! Accommodation was situated 1 minute from the beach and 2 minutes from the town centre. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Sue our host was delightful very informative about what to do & where to eat . . All turned out superb. Our room was very comfortable everything was thought of & loved the decor . All the little touches were superior we had a very light & bright shower room which was very spacious.

Its the little things that make a stay here comfortable… Good hospitality, friendly host, clean room, toiletries - and the chocolate biscuits left with clean cups every day!! Very convenient for the Harbour (boat trips), the railway station (train journeys) and a short walk into the town.

A perfect stay

We had a delightful stay and loved every minute. The host, Sue is warm and welcoming .The room was quiet, comfortable with a large shower room and spotlessly clean. The guest house is a very short stroll to the town centre, beach front and coastal path which was perfect. Highly recommended a stay here!.

Really enjoyable stay in a clean and helpful environment.

Room clean, en-suite clean and large, host very pleasant and helpful, location was excellent,

chairs to sit in bedroom. Only one chair, could have used two, one each.

Exceptional

Location of Summerwind guest house is a 5 min walk to the sea front and marina. Lots of restaurants and Exmouth train station, less than 10mins walk. Good cycle routes also. The guest house run by Susan has an extremely friendly, warm and caring feel from the point of booking to leaving. The room was incredibly comfortable, with a good supply of toiletries and refreshments supplied. Great hospitality Susan 😊
