Superb hosts, stunning service. Will return.

Breakfast was hot, served beautifully.

The hotel itself was faultless. The distance given to Dawlish said 3.6 on booking. Yeah, looking out the window, but by driving from hotel to Dawlish was far further.

Owners very pleasant. Room was brilliant. Breakfast was lovely. Ideal location

Coffee in room needs changing. Not very nice. Also mugs needed as cup and saucer too small. Green decor with red Spots outside, could do with changing.

no parking although near by public parking it was busy and we found a place hard to get but we did manage .

Staff were very welcoming . Room was very clean . Bed was incredibly comfortable Continental Breakfast very nice :) would stay again .

Maybe needed a dressing table with mirror and shower to have more pressure . Ceiling tiles were outdated .

Very welcoming, comfortable bed, great sea view, well looked after at breakfast. Very good host who would do anything to make you welcome.

Probably could do with some parking, it's just street parking so need to be lucky with being able to park close by if you have luggage to transfer

I was there because of a funeral and my thoughts were more on the situation I was in than my roo

The fact that I was offered a ground floor room - I am registered disabled. The 'hosts' were very nice and accommodating.

Because I am disabled, I found that there was too much furniture to move around easily and there were no hand rails in the shower.

A good stopover for one night as we were walking the SW Coast Path.

We received a friendly welcome, and our room, although small, was comfortable. We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised that the room was already available for us. The breakfast was simple, but OK. We had a sea view, which we enjoyed.

Wonderful place to relax or explore from.

Room excellently furnished with essential items, including super comfortable bed with two sizes of pillows each. Compact ensuite with new efficient shower. Lovely fluffy towels and toiletries provided. Great selection of tea, coffees and milks to make own hot drinks. Breakfast is served by the host and hostess, with hot options of baked beans and eggs on toast also available, to supplement continental self-service. Sea views superb and accessibility of location brilliant for seashore walks along the promenade, beach or harbour waterfront. Lots of nearby eateries and local facilities for all kinds of activities.

Other guests coming in at silly hours of the morning waking the whole household up, as loudly made their way to their rooms, despite very clear signage asking guests to keep noise to a minimum from 11pm.

Brilliant value for money at a comfy & welcoming B&B

Very friendly staff who helped store our bags during our friends' wedding. Location is ideal for the beach, many great pubs and the boat trip we took. All in 5 mins walk. Nice breakfast from such welcoming & attentive B&B hosts. Would stay here again!

Close to the seafront and 10 minutes walk from main town centre, loving building and very lovely family run establishment, good breakfast with a variety of food, also close to train station and easy to get to on foot, sea view definitely worth the money,

Very good

I loved staying at the ash hotel. The owners were so lovely and welcoming! My room had the most incredible view of the sea that I was immediately relaxed and it was in a great location too. Definitely recommend!

Location is very good, close to beach. Room clean, good breakfast, my toddler girl enjoyed the teddy bears she found in the room.
