About this house rental

Pet friendly and right across the road from Tata Beach - the most desirable beach in Golden Bay. The house is elevated for views across the bay so you can see when conditions are right to pull out the complimentary sea kayaks and take them across the road to the beach. Having the House close enough to whip back to get a beer out of the fridge makes it an ideal location to have a real beach holiday. Tata with its golden sands is fabulous for swimming at high or low tide and the boat ramp is very near.
A great base to explore Golden Bay and the Abel Tasman National Park which begins only one bay away and located ten minutes drive to shop and restaurants. There is a fully fenced, private and sheltered bush clad back yard with swings suitable for small children or outside pets. There is secure off street parking. Double sea touring kayak, single sit on kayak, two single sit in sea kayaks and mountain bikes available for your use at no cost.

The house is jam packed with everything that you would need for a beach holiday such as boogie boards, skim board including plenty of rainy day games etc.
PLEASE NOTE that there are steep internal stairs that may be a challenge to a person with limited mobility or not as safe as traditional stairs. There are alternative exterior stairs that can be used as an alternative.

Lovely area to stay in, the house is just a street from the great swimming beach of Tata bay. Use of the kayaks was a great bonus as it was a perfect place for kayaking. The house was comfortable & well equipped. Would love to have stayed longer.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tata. The beds were of particular note. Seriously comfy. Not to mention the stunning dawn chorus and surrounding bird life. Everything we needed was provided and had a great stay.

Matariki weekend getaway from Nelson. Great weather and company and great for our little cavoodle who adores the beach. House was warm, clean, very convenient and we will definitely be back. The internal stairs (more like a ladder!) might be hard work for older folk/less agile so best to load/unload up the external back stairs for sure. Shower pressure is adequate but not brilliant but does the job. Great kitchen and facilities, super comfy beds in all the 4 bedrooms, no Sky or internet but Freeview was all we needed if we turned it on at all! Lovely place to hang out and unwind.

Great location, easy comms with owner. Couple of minor issues on arrival very quickly sorted. Despite the time of year had lovely daily swims and kids 16/14/11 loved messing about in the Kayaks. Would happily book again

This Bach was perfect for a weeks holiday, the garage catered for lots of activities, the position had morning and afternoon sunshine, it was safe and quiet and so close to carry a kayak to the beach yet able to hide from windy days. Well set out for our family and we are used to water tanks so that wasn’t a problem. Great communication and very supportive. Thanks for a great stay. Hope to be back.

Superb location so close to the best beach in Golden Bay, tidy clean and comfy place to get away for a relaxation or adventure. The internal stairs are steep (like on a boat) but outside stairs good as back up. Enjoyed our much needed break away.

We were a family of 4 adults and had a great stay here in Tata Beach. The house was well equiped, the beds were very comfortable, the property was fully fenced for the dog. Our only suggested improvement is that it would be great to have a little table and a couple of sun loungers on the front deck which could be stored in the lounge when the property was not occupied. Otherwise it was an excellent stay.

Fantastic time staying in this great location. Excellent communication and was awesome to have access to kayaks and bikes. We had a large group so lounge a little tight at times. Property description correct around extremely steep internal stairs. Overall a great stay. Thanks.
