Thoughtful care redefined genuine hospitality, leaving a lasting impact

Picture this: a beautiful setting with Caterina and her daughter, the epitome of warmth and care. Even though Caterina wasn't feeling her best, their welcome was nothing short of heartening. Now, here's a quirky twist: two single beds for a couple! But hold on, it's not a mistake. They thoughtfully provided separate bed covers, showing their attention to detail and guest comfort. But wait, the best part's coming! The next day, a delightful surprise awaited the guests. Caterina had magically transformed the setup with a king-size bed cover, allowing us, the couple, to cuddle under one cover. That's some serious thoughtfulness right there! "Caterina's Heartfelt Hospitality" is a story that champions the magic of caring gestures in hosting. With their small yet significant acts, Caterina and her daughter redefine what true hospitality means. Their story inspires us to embrace kindness and empathy in our interactions, leaving a lasting impression on the art of hosting.

Very nice appartment in a peacefull and calm environment. Recommended

The manager lady and the cleaning lady are very nice and helpful, the manager lady speaks english very well and gave us many tips, which we appreciated. Very nice balcony, lot of space, we´ve got all the appartament for ourselves and felt good. Definitely recommended.

Assolutamente consigliato! ci ritornerei volentieri

Fissata la camera il giorno stesso dell'arrivo, quando siamo arrivati alle 9 di sera erano presenti per accoglierci e darci consigli per dove cenare e indicazioni per le gite in barca. Camera spaziosa, con grazioso balcone, dotata di frigorifero. Personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile

Convenient location. Friendly owners. Super functional. No frills.

Bed annoyingly creaky and aircon annoyingly loud but apart from that was pretty ideal for a small family on a budget. Grazie!

Kindest hosts you will ever meet!

I have never felt so welcome in a property before, the hosts when out of their way to make sure everything was ok for us. The room was also stunning and super clean. The view from our balcony was spectacular and the town itself has a lot of character. We would have loved to stay longer but unfortunately has to move on to our next destination :( Thank you for an amazing stay!

Fantastic stay

The host was very lovely and kind and made sure we were really taken care of. She gladly answered all our questions and gave tips on activities and restaurants in the area. The view from the balcony, overseeing the village, was incredible and very peaceful. The room was very spacious and everything was very clean. The breakfast was elaborate, varied and delicious. We would certainly come back to stay here again!

Ideal stop-by for a night with romantic views. Great value for money.

The house is located above the village with romantic scenery. Room is traditionally furnished. Homeowner lady was kind and helpful, even though she didn't speak English. Hospitality of Sardinian people is just unbelievable. Great value for money (off season, May)

Service. Very friendly hard working owner Christina. Easy parking along the road or inside the terrein. Room cleaned every day. Airconditioning worden well. Every day breafast included with fresh fruit. Location: near many highlights of the region. Nearby beautifull beaches like spiaggia barone. Thank you for having a very good stay.

This was the best place we stayed in Sardinia. Couldn't do enough for us, so helpful. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was nice. The rooms were big and had a nice balcony overlooking the town. Nice restaurants close by. We stayed here after a hike Cala Fenil to Cala Luna and it was a perfect location. They also gave us great recommendations for places to eat and visit.

Great value for money

An older apartment but very clean and comfortable, lovely balcony overlooking the town, great for a glass of wine or coffee after dinner. Hosts were absolutely lovely and rushed to get our room ready after we booked at very short notice in the evening. Breakfast OK. Location very quiet. Would gladly stay again. Great value for money, recommend.

We liked the location of the house, the breakfast was really nice and Christina was amazing and very helpful. The area is really beautiful and quiet, surrounded by mountains but it’s also close to Cala Gonone.

We loved the house and the atmosphere, clean cozy and beautiful mountain views.

The house of Cristina is a simple, but very comfortable place to stay. It is spacious, clean, equipped with everything you need. There is no air conditioner, but that was not a problem at all even though we were staying during a very hot period, because the house is well-ventilated and it was always fresh there. The level of hospitality is really high! Cristina was always around when we needed her, but was never intrusive. She was brought us fresh bread and some wine. We really felt at home! Onifai is a small village, but its position is quite strategic. You can reach Orosei in just 5 minutes, and there are really a lot of beautiful beaches, mountain paths, and different activities within 30min drive.

The pillows on the beds are a bit thin and communication was a bit tough as we didn't understand Italian at all. However, Cristina went to a lot of trouble to carry over her message to us.

Wonderful place to stay at with an amazing view of the small town. Truly lovely people make you feel at home while giving you enough space to have privacy and do what you like. Ideal place to use to explore the area. Very lovely rooms, clean and relaxing atmosphere :-)

Wonderful host, gorgeous views, delicious breakfast

The host was so hospitable, very caring and went so far out of her way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. She was always available, very approachable, gave us recommendations of places to go and made sure we had fresh towels and were enjoying our stay. The breakfast available was also delicious and such good value for the price. I would highly recommend staying at this place.

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable, but the room itself was spacious and we had incredible views of the town and the mountains.

Perfect stay ever!

EVERYTHING!! Wonderful view on the mountains from the balcony! Delicious and various breakfast: homemade bread, cookies and various gems, yogurts, butter, prosciutto, salame, fresh fruits and very, very good coffee! Close to the beautiful beaches (15 min by car) and there is amazing restaurant nearby (just 5 minutes walking). Spacious and very clean room! We even had a small fridge which was very helpful! Mattress are comfortable! It was the best stay in Italy so far! Definitely will come back again next time!
