food and staff amazing
tired hotel needs modernisation
1.0
Facilities, rooms and the site itself
Staff seemed very incompetent and often not willing to help. The smallest of tasks or problems felt like a huge inconvenience to them.
Lots of areas understaffed.
Food was terrible, absolutely do not eat here.
8.0
Great breakfast, great pool, fantastic rooms, small but nice beach.
The restaurant was bad. Very pricy for very small portions. And there is no alternative around because of the location. AND they should have a nicer pier. The plastic thing looks horrible and unusable.
6.0
The architecture and the rooms are very nice, but certain details show that the maintenance of the facilities is not at its best.
Considering that this is a 5 stars hotel, our expectations were a bit higher and to what we eventually experienced. Some maintenance points are neglected, staff is a bit cold and the beach is not suitable for swimming
9.0
Beautiful property, nice and secluded... Pool access was great from the room and the room had a massive tub too. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the one at the beach bar(forgot his name). Food is priced reasonably...we didn't need to leave the place.
None really. Use share taxi from the airport as they turn out to be a cheaper option to reach the property.

Gorgeous, punctual, good air conditioning, nice pool… are all things I’d love to be able to say, unfortunately none are true for this shambolic facility.
Booked a Transfer to the pier through the staff. It didn’t turn up and we missed the boat.
7.0
amazing breakfast, room was very nice, awesome hotel staff - in the bar, restaurant, everywhere.
The beach and the sea is not very nice, we didn't swim at all which was kind of disappointing. Also missing proper stairs to access to the beach, there are some sandy bags acting as stairs but it is quite dangerous and can cause injuries.

everyone was nice at the hotel also so beautiful place, spacious & clean rooms
the location was too far not close to any activity
10.0
Beautiful hotel and free shuttle to go to town 3x a day
A bit lost in the middle of nowhere so just 1 or 2 options if you don't want to eat at the hotel
7.0
Close to beach, friendly staff, good selection of food at breakfast.
Long way from town facilities, need to get taxi or have own transport, no hot water for shower. Even when we notified staff, it wasn't fixed. 3 days no hot water.

excellent staff, stunning room, good price. location quiet.
wifi pretty slow and breakfast average

Calm and serene place. If you want to stay out of hustle and bustle the place is good enough. i walked to the beach at 10 in night and listened to waves, at my own. I'm also told that this side of koh Samui has a great sunset. So pls spend evenings here.
Price i paid was reasonable too around 1800 baht.
Breakfast was average. Staff was laid back, though respectful. It is very far from the center (15 kms) and unless u want to lay back here for all day, the place may be avoidable.

we stayed 4 nights in this fantastically beautiful resort, however you can notice the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, was extremely quiet during our stay, which we did not mind. very friendly staff the rooms were nice and classic with access to the pool directly from your room. However, I do have a comment about the evening meal, the portions are really small, almost comparable to a children's meal which was really disappointing. Furthermore, it was a great stay for us and we really enjoyed it and would stay here again.

Very well looked after and luxurious. Room was really beautiful had all the faculties needed for a stay. Great view and very friendly staff.
Did not like the drinks served at the bar. Would be great if the bar tender followed a recipe.

Pool was nice.
Room was also very good.
Spa was relaxing.
Breakfast had a lot of options.
Location was very far.
Taxi is expensive.

we had the whole place to ourselves! the staff are super sweet and helpful.
although the place is slightly out of the way, the privacy and hospitality makes up for it in my opinion.

the manager was very nice and helpful
I stayed in the Mai Samui resort from the 18-21 May. I can quite honestly say that it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
First of all I want to talk about the one positive. Dao, the manager there, was amazing. She really tried to make the holiday better. I wish I didn’t have to make this complaint for her sake. But then again I don’t want people having to experience what we did especially as for many people this is the first holiday since before lockdown.
Whilst you could see that the resort was beautiful - everything was closed and I mean everything. The Yoga, gym, bars, restaurants. We were paying a lot of money so that is NOT OK. And this information was not shared on their website or on booking sites. It was also a ghost town. There was no one there and it was so depressing. In fact I asked and they said that there were only 6 guests (in a normally 100 room resort).
I immediately wanted to leave but the hotel offered us an upgraded room and as it was late and we had already payed for an expensive taxi across the island. In hind site this was a BIG MISTAKE and we should have just left.
Whilst the upgraded room was actually very nice (with its own private mini pool) there were so many problems which we didn’t realise until we had spent a night in it. All of the windows and doors had big cracks in them so our rooms were filled with mosquitoes, bugs and even lizards!!! We couldn’t use the bath because it was so full of insects and I was absolutely bitten alive with mosquitoes. On our second. Night we came back to see a large lizard on the ceiling of our room and had to call to get it removed. Whilst they did come and remove it for a 5* hotel this shouldn’t have been an issue to begin with.
There was also so few staff in the hotel. There was no one on reception 99% of the time so we had no one to ask fo advice about where to eat or what to do. We also had problems with the wifi and no one could help us.

The look of the resort was very beautiful. The gym was good.
Very quiet. Breakfast ok. Service closed earlier because no one was there, even though told room service closes at later time. Pool dirty with cockroaches in it. Renovations happening. Very far from everything. Staff did not speak very well English.

Very private, staff were lovely, location was great, rooms were spacious and clean, hotel was beautiful
not at the fault of the staff, but due to COVID related issues, the hotel was at limited resource and not all facilities were available. Breakfast was also very basic, could be improved

Let me use hotel kayak equipment
The swimming pool is too dirty to swim which originally swim by the room is the reason I book it😔😔
