Manager/receptionist friendly enough, as were local townspeople.
The only comfort of my room was that it provided shelter from wind and rain.
Some coat hooks in the cabin.
Only one plug socket, by the door, but, being one of very few guests, I was able to borrow an extension lead to use the bedside light without getting out of bed to turn it off.
This was January, and I could forgive the slight damp feel, but none of these promised features were available:
No wifi i in the cabin, even with a borrowed router.
No tv/lounge active. The only sofa available to use was in reception.
No heating or aircon in cabin.
No snack bar or minimarket.
Furthermore:
Cabin no bigger than a garden shed (approx 2.4x2m) with only enough room for 2 narrow beds and a bedside table between.
Brush and dustpan provided in cabin but no litter bin.
No hot water in the shared bathroom (though I did not try the showers).

Alejandro and the team are amazing.

Great location and very helpful staff. I stayed in a "tepee" chalet which is basic but effective, and has a great view!
It's not that I didn't like it, it's what you expect for the price, but you need to bring (or rent) bedclothes and everything you need for the bathroom, they are very basic but close to the cabin

Cheap and cheerful. Is really close to the beach which would be a bonus in summer.
The website did not make clear that a ‘twin room’ was two camp beds in a hut. There was no heating and I had to ask for bedding.
The shared facilities (bathroom etc) are frankly appalling, I did not feel able to use the showers and waited til I was at my accommodation the next night. They were unclean and unsanitary. Maybe this was because my visit was off season, but had there been any alternative accommodation available in town I would have left.

Great location close to the beach and the cycle path. Staff was kind and generous with their time. we are cycle touring in late March when during the rainy season. This stay kept us dry for the night and is right of the cycle path. The staff loaned us a WiFi hotspot so we could continue to work in one of the little teepees. Such a great economical choice!

I loved the place. I was travelling with my dogs and looked for a place where we could be as close to nature as possible and we found it in Pedrogão. Lovely people, very helpful. We were even offered a hot spot to keep in our little tent hut. During the day you could just go for walks on the amazing sandy beach or just open the door and watch the Ocean from your bed. Calm and beautiful. I probably would not recommend the place in Summer but in the Winter it's haven for those who just want to be close to nature.
Well, for this price I love it as it was and wish there were more places in Portugal as this campsite. I realise that it's not new, I stayed during winter so it was semi closed, it's a bit on the shabby side, by saying that I just want people to realise it's not one of the newest super duper modern campsites, but it's got the best customer service, location and the ocean basically on your doorstep so if you appreciate the above plus that you can bring your animals who can play outside (in the Winter months! when it's not busy) -it's perfect :-) just bring your own duvets, blankets, kettle etc. and you are set. I had my own matteraces.

Everything else is nice excellent location.
The beds are old and uncomfortable. Had to go home and pick up my camping stuff and use it on top of the bed.
