Amazing area to relax and chill out around the pool and go for walks on the beach. Good bar and vibe to watch the football.
There’s a hostel or pub near which plays deep bass music late into the night :(. Didn’t like getting charged for water. Surely if there’s no potable water at facility charging for drinking water isn’t right?

The pool is nice and a social spot
Food is quite expensive and not the best

The food was okay and the WiFi worked sometimes. If you’re into partying three days straight, it's certainly the right place to do it.
The town is flooded with Wooks and cheap colombian marching powder. Please don't get me wrong - everyone was super nice and I had a great time. But the fun was not the one I expected (beach, relax, etc.). Don't ever bring your children to Palomino. The beach does basically not even exist anymore. I was told that it's shrinking every year.

It was a nice location - close to the beach. Staff were very helpful. Beds were extremely comfortable. Room sizes were very generous and the shower size was also quite big.
The cold showers, I would have thought that in the private Suites there would be hot water. Also the fact that I was unable to use the safe in the room as the safe key was lost. Staff were very helpful and I ended up being upgraded to a better suite where the safe worked and the shower had hot water!

awesome hostel, good location, right near the beach :) the pool is great, nice to chill around during the day cause it’s soooo hot! very chill, but also social! i would stay again :)
our air con broke during the night so it was pretty hot, the shower was average, no hot water, soooo many mozzies in the room but still enjoyed staying!
there’s a pub right near the hostel that plays loud music pretty late but we didn’t mind it

All in all, it's a really great place to stay. The location is fantastic, for that and the kindness of the stafg alone, I would stay here again.
There is a pool, a pool table, a bar, direct access to the beach within a minute of walking. Surrounded by many great restaurants, bars, tiendas...
The beds are comfortable and the rooms are generally pretty good value for the price.
Could have better places to hangout, other than just at the restaurant/ bar area. Would be awesome to have a few bean bags or something alike somewhere.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dreamer Hostel in Palomino for two days, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a vibrant atmosphere. However, one person who truly made my stay exceptional was José, the bartender.
José is an absolute gem at the hostel. Not only does he serve the most incredible cocktails, but he also goes above and beyond to ensure that guests have an unforgettable time. His enthusiasm and passion for his craft are truly infectious. He took the time to recommend signature drinks, each one more delicious than the last. Every evening, I found myself eagerly waiting to see what new creation José had in store for us.
What sets José apart is his genuine care for each guest. He took the time to strike up conversations, sharing stories and local insights. His knowledge of the area and recommendations for activities and attractions were spot on. Thanks to José, I discovered hidden gems in Palomino that I wouldn't have found otherwise. He made sure I had all the information I needed to make the most of my stay.
The Dreamer Hostel itself is fantastic. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist. The hostel's communal areas are vibrant and provide a perfect space for socializing and meeting fellow travelers.
Overall, my stay at Dreamer Hostel was nothing short of incredible, and José played a significant role in making it so memorable. If you're visiting Palomino, I highly recommend staying at this hostel and experiencing José's exceptional service. You won't be disappointed!

You have the best of everything. Beach access, gorg pool, air conditioned rooms and the staff are friendly and helpful when needed. I appreciate that there's extra bathrooms and showers thru out the property so you have the option to not wait for your roommates who are using the room bathrooms.
Beds could be higher. I'm pretty short and I couldn't sit up in them. I wish they'd advertised things to do in the area. If I had to be picky more chairs around the pool.

The Dreamer was an excellent option for staying in Palomino. The room was fine, it was clean, had a kettle with water to make instant coffee or tea, air conditioning, and a private bathroom. A hammock at the entrance of the room as well as a table and a couple of chairs. Also, if you request it, they clean the room. Thus, in terms of infrastructure, it is excellent.
In terms of location, the hotel is near the beach as well as some restaurants and bars, which it makes easier to go to the beach or just go around for a walk or eat. You can walk from the main street to the hotel and vice versa. What I liked the most was the pool in the middle of the hotel, as well as the attention of the staff and the recommendations for plans. For example, the first day we signed up for the tubing list and it was fantastic.
The hotel has a great vibe. It has an open bar near the pool. They usually play music and there are some board games. However, sometimes the music is exceedingly loud. I even heard it in the room, which makes it difficult if you want to rest or sleep, because you will hear the music, the laughter, and the people in the pool. On the last day, I could not sleep properly but I guess loud music is normal in Palomino.

Breakfast was a la carte
We didn't understand that there would be so many young people there. Music all the time in the lounge areas beside the pool. Great pool

Nice hotel and best location. Maria from massage room was the best.
NO WIFI - NO HOT WATER - WORST STAFF EVER. Mosquitos everywhere. This hotel is very aged. It's a place for european backpackers, not for holidays. My door did not close properly so I have been wounded by mosquitos for 3 days. I'd suggest not to stay here

Location. Almost on the beach.
Lodges arranged around a pool and bar.
Birds singing in the trees.
Bar prices are expensive and they don’t display them. They just give you the ‘wristband’. to pay.
Showers are cold and Wi-fi is a joke.
I could forgive the above but owners are charging first-world prices for third-world service.
The beach is the selling point. But when I was there in Feb 2023 you couldn’t swim because of the riptide. Do not go in the sea unless you are on a surf board!
So many local bars and restaurants who really want your business. Unless you turn up
anywhere at 10.31 as most seem to close at 10.30.
It’s a surfers’ paradise but if you want to party until dawn you will be disappointed. They all go to bed quite early.

our room was not cleaned after leaving the request sign up.

Just next to the beach. An excellent common area with pool, bar, tables alot of trees etc it felt more like an hotel resort than an hostel.
Depending on your dorm you may lack electric plugs. Due to the proximity to the beach and the jardin outside, there are alot of mosquitoes so bring repellent!

We had a room in one of the newest buildings and that was really awesome. A very nice setup with lots of green and a beautiful pool. Delicious good and great staff. Very nice backpackers vibe and close to the beach.
Nothing really. Only thing is that the music during the morning and afternoon can be a bit loud at times. One morning I asked to lower the volume a bit and they did. I wrote this review on friday morning but on friday afternoon they set up a sound system with a DJ playing music on festival level and at the same time 30 meters away another set for a party that is supposed to start in the evening. I don't see anybody other than the DJ enjoying the sheer terror of sound. Unacceptable to sit at the pool without earplugs. I rsted the hostel a 10 but have reduce it considerably. I think the hostel should realy ask their customers if they appreciate this.
