Overall a good stay.

The staff was friendly. Our room was clean.

It was hot in most common areas except in our room. When its hot outside you want to come in to cool air. I also wish they had an ice maker.

It was good and comfortable.

Breakfast was good. I had ackee and saltfish with ground provision

My spouse did not like the fried dumplings as they tasted like biscuits.

Perfectly OK for a couple of nights.

Sorry to say but breakfast wasn't great. Pretty bland and nothing really to recommend it one way or the other. Staff were as accommodating as possible, but cost of breakfast was quite high and it really wasn't worth it.

More choices for food.

New Kingston, close to everything, gorgeous rooms.

The previous reviews do not do justice to Shirley. This hotel is in a safe area, close to everything. The front desk had an amazing young woman who was friendly, helpful and went out of her way to accommodate me. The bed is amazingly comfortable, the room are large with a walk in shower, & fridge. I am a single white female, i even walked alone, seven blocks to get dinner, and felt safe. My go to place in the future.

I do not like the negative reviews on such a beautiful place.

It was quiet.

The signal on the tv was out for the entire night. I spent $300 JMD for a small cup of coffee.

Good location and clean room

Convenient location as we only spent one night in Kingston, close to the Bob Marley museum, a shop and a pitta wrap place (which was good). Parking is gated, free and there is a night security guard. (Montana car rental is a short walk). Comfy bed, bathroom clean but no toiletries provided.

The construction of a new hotel next door, work started just after 6am! The machinery was so loud and close that I actually made eye contact with the forklift driver! I reckon the work will continue for at least another 6-12 months (May 23 now).

Interesting and conformable

The place is quiet and comfortable. Recently fixed. Friendly staff.

Breakfast is not included in the room price. The sockets in the room are limited. There are no electricity sockets in the bathroom.

My stay was very comfortable the location was perfect. It was close to the restaurants and sports bar.

It was clean and well kept. The staff was professional and friendly. They made me feel right at home.

There was nothing I did not like about the property.

I like the fact that my request for a refrigerator in my room was facilitated and the staff didn't seem bothered by any request but they saw how they could make my stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Pleasant staff. The beds were comfortable, the cleaner asked if we would like our room to be cleaned and if fresh towels and rags are needed. The microwave is in the main dining area although it could be more fancy area it was clean. Very nice location to chill and nearby areas to purchase food. Felt secure on the property as well.

No shower curtain - just a very old crushed plastic shower curtain liner. Shower head was old - water pressure low The smell of the place was not pleasant The rooms need renovating and upgrades - very aged
