Very good

Very helpful staff, easy check in. My room was a corner room with a desk (I always rate up for a desk! That's so important for nomad people who travel and work remotely, but not all hosts are aware of it) and window which was right above the street. That wouldn't fit for a long stay because of the street noise, but for a few nights the view was really athmospheric.

There were some stains on the bed sheets... Well, and the location can be quite noisy too.

Really good sleep in a friendly hospitable hotel in Tibetan area.

I love the location. The Bouddha area is really easy to stay, the hotel is practicality next to a beautiful Monastery where there is a nice garden to go to. The rooftop of the hitel offers a great view and the garden is a place to relax in a green surrounding.

I would have loved to have a little of water upon arrival. I discussed this with the owner and he normally does provide this. I arrived late and then it is really nice to have something offered after a long trip.

Appart from one closet, Nothing else in the room or bathroom to hang anything (clothes/towel/wet towel). The windows are thin so the rooms on the side of the street are noisy.

Great, peaceful stay, would come back again!

Lovely stay close to Bodnat stupa but far from tourist rush, nice garden with morning sun and terrace, very kind and helpful hosts.

If you sleep is sensitive you might need your earplugs ;)

Perfect place around Boudha if you are looking for some chill environment a bit far from the main streets.

The location is perfect to visit budha stupa, and the hotel has a really nice garden where having breakfast or just resting.

I chose the option of room with share bathroom, which I did quite a lot during my trip in Nepal. However in this case, the room was just apart the main building, like the service one, and the bathroom was not prepared for customs. It didnt have even light, or at least I didnt arrive to find it. With more information, I hadnt choose this option but a room with private bathroom in the main building.

Great Guesthouse!

- Very good GH & very nice family - very good emplacement of the GH, very quiet place & area, very calm. - very good room with very big windows, lot of light in, I enjoyed my time there. - nice garden with tables - hot water & breakfast included - good for meeting people

- I liked all... - maybe only for improving, would be great to have an Asian, Nepali or Indian breakfast options rather than 3 Europeans options for people vegetarian & vegan & Sattvic.

Wonderful place to stay!

This is not my first stay at Bodhi Guesthouse . In fact now I arrange my flights to Kathmandu around availablity at Bodhi Guesthouse. It is like going home to stay there. Casual, relaxed atmosphere , very comfortable rooms, delicious food , wonderful friendly staff and very affordable prices.

The best place I stayed at in Kathmandu! The room was super big, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom clean (with hot shower!). The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They even prepared dinner for me on the night I arrived, even though the kitchen was already closed. Thank you! The cooking is very good! They also have different breakfast options including oatmeal, müesli and toast etc. There is even a rooftop terrace with a nice view. I wish I could have stayed longer and will definitely stay at the Bodhi Guest House again when I will be back in Bouddha!

Great value for money, simple and charming. - and helping a great cause by staying there

I didn't eat breakfast but I had tea which was great and would have had the omelette- perfectly fine. Staff really helpful and kind. Excellent Wi-Fi and masses of boiling hot water in the shower! Spotlessly clean simple room perfectly sufficient. Great view from the roof
