The whole barrel was really cozy and nice and warm inside even in February.
The public kitchen is without any equipment or dishes. The lady at the reception was very nice and lent us a cattle.

Very confortable bed 🛏 and very clear. Bathroom with separate sinks area with door so you can wash yourself in private. Individual showers 🚿 also with door to make it more private and space to put your clothes and hang the towel while taking the shower. Very nice restaurant 🍴 and small supermarket 🛒 which it is very convenient. Also there is a cooking area in case you want to make your own food 🍲. Very complete camping 🏕 with all what you need to have a very relax staying. The top point for us was to have the heating in the cottage. It was so cozy to sleep without feeling cold when the weather was not very pleasant ☔. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone. Also it is only 10-15 minutes drive to the Old Town of Regensburg but the is a McDonald's and a few restaurants and coffee houses 🏘 in the area. In general, AZUR Camping has been one of the best camping I have ever been to.
En recepción, the English language was not very fluent and didn't make and effort to speak in English when I was struggling with my poor German.

I could walk to the river
Public transport us right by the gate
The location... I thought it was a bit deeper into nature. The barrels are also too close to one another.
I was supposed to go with my son but he got unexpectedly sick, and when I tried to communicate this to the management, 2 days before the date, I only got the answer a night before when it was impossible to postpone. I find it sad that even during this Covid19 time, they can't show such compassion. l wasn't trying to get the money back, I just wanted to postpone because I wasn't sure what's wrong with my boy, and I wanted to keep him from possibly infecting other people with whatever his symptoms were... So I had to find someone to go with because I wouldn't wanna lose my money. I couldn't even stay both nights.

Loved the quirky tent on a platform, which had a superbly comfortable bed inside.
Young lady on reception was very friendly and helpful too, speaking fluent English to me when my very limited German ran out!
