Elanora Rose Cottage provides premium accommodation just one hour south of Adelaide, in the heart of the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. Elanora Rose is centrally located between Goolwa and Victor Harbor, perfect for exploring all that is on offer, such as amazing walking/bike trails, boutique shopping, markets and food and wine trails. If relaxing is more your style visit our lovely beaches or take the cockle train to view the scenery along the coast. With the famous Port Elliot Bakery, Pubs and Cafes only meters from your door, there is no need to take the car. Just enjoy a leisurely 10 minute stroll to Horseshoe Bay, if you don't stop to shop or grab a bite to eat!

Built in 1900, Elanora Rose has been beautifully renovated, with a secure private yard, off street parking and lovely lawns for the kids to play. Outdoor dining is provided with BBQ facilities for those long summer nights. There is also an outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach. Sit outside under the covered decking and enjoy the NEW outdoor cinema with Blueray/Netflix/Stan. You can also connect your Spotify with the surround sound system. This is perfect for your family movie night with popcorn.

The fully equipped kitchen and dining is a comfortable space to entertain. There are three generous bedrooms, two with queen size beds, and the third has 2 wrought iron singles and one double sofa bed. All bed linen and towels are provided. A porta cot is available on request. Other conveniences include ceiling fans and heaters in each bedroom, reverse cycle air conditioning in the lounge and dining areas, washing machine, dryer and iron. In the lounge area there is a 47 inch 3D TV/Fetch/Netflix. The children's room provides a 26 inch TV and various books and games.

In winter, you can warm up to a roaring fire with a glass of wine or maybe toast a few marshmallows. The fire place really creates a mood and ambiance that can't be beaten.
Elanora Rose provides a high level of comfort for all family members.
We supply most of the everyday goods you need in a kitchen and bathroom including coffee beans for the automatic coffee machine and a selection of teas.

Perfect winter getaway! Loved the open fireplace and luxurious bath. Our dogs loved exploring the yard. We were lucky enough to do some whale watching as well.

The property is perfect for a family getaway with a large enclosed yard with so much space for playing outside. The swing and outdoor cricket set were popular. The house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Communication with the property managers Dana and Phil is easy as is the check in process. The location of the house is perfect to walk to the main street of Port Elliot and to Horseshoe Bay. We all enjoyed our Winter getaway by the beach and would definitely stay in the house again.

Fabulous house with an amazing attention to detail, helping to shape lasting memories. From the coffee machine to the pop corn machine, boogie boards to an out door shower and cinema. Perfect family get away in the heart of Port Elliot.

Beautiful. Just so beautiful. Knew from the start when property manager contacted us that this was going to be something very special, made us feel like we were just staying at a friends' place. The property is gorgeous. We feel like we've had a months break after just 3 days. Every luxury but maintains character.

We stayed at Elanora Rose for three nights after spending a busy Easter weekend in Adelaide for a basketball tournament. The accommodation was even better than described in the listing, and exactly what we wanted; old world charm and comfort with modern amenities. The bedrooms are bright, airy and spacious, and the living areas are comfy. Outside seating area is a bonus. The house and grounds are in immaculate condition. The house is in a great location; only minutes away from main street and beach. The hosts are lovely and welcoming, and very accommodating. Thank you — we hope to be back for a longer stay.

Lovely cottage with great spaces to be together as a family. Every detail thought of to make this a special and super comfortable easter stay. A beautifully restored Victorian styled home with a beach feel with all the comforts. Enjoyed a cuppa on the verandah and played backyard cricket with the kids. No iPads needed. Watched a movie in the outdoor cinema and used the popcorn maker and played games around the table. It was a fabulous place to stay and walking distance to the shops and eateries.

We felt at home from the moment we entered this beautifully restored property. Everything we needed was at our fingertips, coffee machine, comfortable lounge area, amazing outdoor area, beautifully styled bedrooms with comfy bedding. The house is perfectly located close to the cafes, restaurants and The Strand. It’s a short walk to everything. The beach was only a ten minute walk. Our dog loved the big yard that was full enclosed with beautiful lawn to roll around in. We highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time at this property, the owners have thought of everything and the property is extremely clean and well maintained and the gardens are so relaxing to sit in. Location is also excellent and an easy walk to cafes and shops. Owners are extremely responsive. The kids loved the swing and the games in the kids room. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved Elanora Rose. The property has been beautifully restored. It has everything you need….and then some (we’re gonna have to buy the same toaster as yours now!!). It was like walking into a big hug, so comforting and cosy. We didn’t want to leave. Fantastic property for families & pets especially in regards to safety & security and great seating/entertaining/playing options all around the garden. Thank you Phill & Dana for letting us stay at Elanora Rose.

A beautiful cosy cottage, close to all Port Elliot has to offer and on a quiet street. The cottage is well appointed and has everything for a cosy winters night in (including a popcorn maker). The hosts Phil and Dana were lovely and were quick to assist when we had a problem with the internet. A lovely place to stay during winter and we hope to stay in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the outdoor cinema (the weather did not let us do this during our stay).

Lovely little property with ample heating during the colder months. Loved the open fire. Would love to come back in Summer to enjoy the lovely outdoor pergola area. Only drawback, I didn't note the shower was over the bath which is a bit of a risk factor for my 86 year old Mother. A plain and simple electric kettle would be my preference to the urn with its electronic features. I had to zap my cuppa in the microwave as the urn wasn't hot enough. Not everyone is tech savvy. Sometimes the trusty simple things are the best. Other wise I enjoyed my stay and the bed was lovely and comfortable. Would like to come back. Thank You

The rooms were comfy and clean with a touch of elegance yet retained that home-away-from-home feel. The coffee machine is fantastic and we had many hot chocolates and babycinos with the milk frother! The out-door cinema was definitely a treat! Perfect location and proximity to the shops- especially when I had forgotten the breakfast bacon! and we all wished we could stay longer! Thanks Phil & Dana, we’d love to come back!
