We had a fantastic long weekend away ... and were so impressed with everything about the house. Very welcoming and thoughtful and so nice to stay somewhere that feels more like home, with plenty of kitchen and serving equipment etc. So very generous too with a wine and chocolate welcome pack! Highly recommended and looking forward to our next visit.

Great stay, property spot on. Port Elliot is very quaint but a good centre for going out to Goolwa or Victor Harbour.. Did a surfing lesson and kayaking both good fun.

Thank you so much for the use of this lovely home. It was absolutely perfect for us and our young children. There was plenty of space and it had everything we needed in very convenient but quiet location. We look forward to our next stay!

The level of comfort for all the family, including comfy beds. Plenty of space to be together or allow quiet time. Room for our family group of 8 to gather around the table, or in the lounge room.
Wonderful deck bringing you outside to immerse yourself in the Honeyeater House garden. Even saw a lizard in the garden, and abundant birdlike.
Plus games, DVD's and books for all ages.
Hence why it was a home away from home.
But then imagine that you are within walking distance to the Cockle Train, Horseshoe Bay, Port Elliot Bakery, pubs, restaurants, the list goes on and on.

Had a lovely 4 night stay with our pup. Fantastic location - a short walk to beach or the centre of town, with plenty of dog friendly cafes within walking distance. There was also a great park for our dog to have a run around at the end of the street. Very well appointed place with everything we could possibly need - the wine and choccies were a lovely surprise too! :) No wifi but we didn't miss it as a collection of board games and DVDs were provided (especially once we found the extra ones stashed in the ottoman!) Just stayed with my partner this time but the place was very roomy and would be great for a larger group too. Would highly recommend this place!

The accommodation was well situated, a short walk to cafes, restaurants and beach. We were a group of 7 adults and very comfortably catered for. We were lucky enough to be there when the native garden was in full bloom- magnificent. The owners were easy to deal with and most obliging.

We loved our stay! Very relaxing time had by all, including our dog who thoroughly enjoyed exploring the backyard. We loved walking to the beach, sitting out on the deck and found everything we could possibly need at the property. It was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Clearly pride is taken in presenting it well for visitors and making sure that it is well equipped for cooking as well as games, books and movies galore for relaxation. Definitely keen to return! Special thanks for putting up chicken wire along front of deck to ensure safety and peace of mind for our small dog.

This property is in great condition, very tidy and clean. It has beds enough for two families and plenty of room. We have a 7 & 9 year old and they loved it. 9 son was a little emo there were no games for the PlayStation, so gamers BYO. True easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants and the 2 pubs.
Amazing gardens around the house, very nice place!
