Everything! The snorkeling was beyond our expectations! AMAZING! The food was incredible! The staff were simply awesome humans! The dogs! Oh the sweet doggies! We already miss them and will 100% be back for a visit. We saw sloths, monkeys, dolphins and lizards. We loved every single second spent here. If you are into a rustic jungle vacation with some awesome snorkeling and food you should come here!
Everything was amazing but you def need bug spray. Its the jungle… its expected.

Great location, people, food and mood !
This is definitely a rustic place which is well explained but still a bit rough to handle for us…

The location is superb, remote and separated. The Coral Reef much better than expected. In fact the best we saw in all Bocas del Toro. Well worth to go only for it. Great food and help on everything. The whole team helped make our stay a great one
Special comments for the bioluminiscence swimming at night. This is real must....
Fantastic
Nothing really. They did very well with what they have

Absolutely loved our stay, Melissa and Luciano made us feel right at home. No request was too much. Really good food, best tuna we've ever had.
Beautiful location, relaxed and laid back. No frills kind of place but everything done very tastefully.
Stunning scenery everywhere you looked, we didn't want to leave!
Maaaybe more fans in the accomodation but thats only if I'm really looking for a negative.
Be prepared for bugs but that's to be expected

Being away from the grotty and busy Bocas town was incredible. Staying at cocovivo was like staying in your own oasis with everything you needed. Perfect for relaxing and exploring in rain or sun! It was amazing. Having the reef right below you meant snorkelling was available at any time which was endless fun!! Something different to see each day.
The staff were amazing, massive thanks to Melissa for her hospitality and great chats, Luciano for the amazing meals, and Luis for helping us find the monkeys!

The food, the reef, and the location were fantastic as was the service. The staff were supportive, accommodating, and fun. For as rustic as the place purported to be I thought the Mangrove Treehouse was great. We had water, a stove, a nearby composting toilet, electricity, and ample space (not to mention pretty good bug protection).
The stairs although good were a bit tough on us old people at night. The private deck was pretty sunny and was small for several people to share, but the common areas more than made up for that.

Beautiful location and great accomodation (once we moved cabin). Excelent service by staff. Delicious romantic vegan meals. incredible spot for admiring and engaging with nature.
First cabin we were at was filled with bugs at night, we spoke with the owners and they moved us to a more comfortable one. Location is beautiful but there is a lot of debris from projects lying around, should be more organized.

Wonderful hosts, very helpful and easy going.
Food was really great! Certainly above expectations
There is no plumbing however there is cleverly designed bathrooms which make this not a problem.
Island is full of animals, we saw 2 sloths in the short 30min trail you can do from the hits, you can also fall asleep to the sound of the howler monkeys which is really special
Getting too and from the main island is quite inconvenient. However this is mainly due to the currently fuel shortage ongoing in Panama which reduces the amount of boats willing to take you. Not the fault of Cocovivo

The reef in front is gorgeous. The personnel were also very nice. The food was generally very good.
The toilet and shower were over the water.

Food prepared by the chefs from Argentina is spot on! The room makes you feel one with nature, it is heaven to sleep there. The reef is one of the most colorful I've ever seen. It is just paradise!
Can't think of anything.

The bed was so comfy and it was easy to sleep. The location was quiet and snorkeling off the porch was fun. The local Argentinian hosts are AWESOME. The guest German Chefs were also very good and fun to be around. The short walking path on the property was nice, monkeys are always fun to see! Loved the access to drinking water…..bring a canteen and also bring a headlamp or flashlight. Take the Green Acres Chocolate Tour just a boat ride away, it is totally worth the price of admission, it was our favorite part of our stay.
The food is very good, but meal plan is very overpriced. The owners were on site at the property which made the experience not centered around the guests, but rather it was around them. We enjoyed our stay, but we feel using the term “eco lodge” is a bit of a stretch. They have done a ton of wonderful things for the island, and the concept here is well intended. The local hosts are so great and run the show, it was just bad timing when we were there because we didn’t get the authentic experience. Proper greeting and introduction to the grounds, toilets, etc would have been nice rather than having to ask and bother the owners when we needed something. Bring bug spray and wear it all the time, this is no ones fault just reality.

A truly wonderful and unique location. The staff made us feel as we were staying with old time friends. The coral is amazing, expect to spend hours snorkeling swimming and paddling in calm and transparent water. Big thumbs up to the owners and staff for the land restoration. You are truly imersed in nature.

Melissa & Luciano manage a magnificent place in quiet. The bungalows are robust but certainly brought along sought chill-out feeling. The view from the bungalow terrace is pretty relaxed and excellent to spot dolphins / watch stars at night.
The food was amazing (especially Lucianos pancakes for breakfast) as well as the snorkeling in reef close by. Our highlight was definitely the night ocean bath which came as a big surprise. Thanks a lot for making our stay unforgettable. We will come back - for sure!

Our stay was exceptional. SUPER DELICIOUS FOOD prepared by Melisa and Luciano everyday. It's an unforgettable experience to swim with the bioluminescent plankton at night, to hike around the place with Capitan (the resident dog) and snorkel around the coral reef. Very interesting to learn about the eco-lodge itself. Our stay was amazing and would definitely come back to CocoVivo.

CocoVivo is an exceptional place. Located in a jungle, you can feel and see the real nature just next to you.
It takes approximately 30 minutes by boat to get there. On the way, you can admire the views of small islands.
The owners and the staff are really nice and helpful, we really loved the hospitality and felt like we were a part of this place for this very short moment of our stay. They are also very aware of the environmental impact people have on the nature, which is very important nowadays.
The accomodation provides everything that is actually needed - the Internet connection, a fridge, a stove and a shower, making it possible for the guests to be completely self-sufficient and recharge their batteries. Although, we really enjoyed eating meals togheter with other people in CocoVivo.
CocoVivo provides the kayaks including a transparent one, which is a great experience, based on the fact the water is very clear.
Overall, the place exceeded my expectations, I have never felt so relaxed and inspired by the nature in my life. So far the best place I have ever stayed in via Booking.com.
