HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!

Everything!! I love this place and everyone that works there!! Words cannot express how satisfied I'am with The Yorkshire property!! I highly recommend this place and make sure to introduce yourself to Rachel, Anne Mon and Farsai (I think that is correct)..

Very good

The facilities were great for the fitness conscious, with a well equipped gym and also sauna. The food was high quality and good portion size too. I usually eat out of my hotel but not here as it was too good!

My room had no window and was a bit dingy. I didn't like spending too much time there. Thankfully facilities were great outside of that.

Excellent location, near the nightlife. Super staff friendly and helpful. Nice pool area, sauna and gym.

Bit tired in places, room decor not the prettiest. If you book to include breakfast it's a 100 BAHT per person allowance, which doesn't get you much at all.

Over all it was ok only because of location, staff and price.

Great location and wonderful staff.

Room and furniture old. Gym is in horrible shape. Very loud club across street with loud band and poor music.

one of the better bangla hotels

fantastic location, basically adjacent to bangla walking street. staff is helpful and nice, especially anne.

some rooms are dated, the food at the restaurant is so so. cleanliness is a bit of an issue, but this is patong so people should know what to expect.

booked for an airport.drop taxi at the front desk. the front desk collected the money the previous evening. In the morning after drop off the driver denied he had been paid, on calling rhe hotel the hotel was not able to locate the individual the driver kept me waiting at tje airport check in counter finally i had to pay the driver again to avoid getting delayed for my flight

YORKSHIRE RIPPER / RIP-OFF

CLEANING STAFF - probably the best part of this place. Punctual, quick cleaning, replacing towels etc. By the time I get back from the gym in the morning, the room is cleaned

Staff, facilities, nothing works as it should. Where to begin: ROOM - no natural light, no air circulation, no chairs inside the room ( you are forced to sit on the bed), no drawers so you can't put your clothes away, air-conditioning is noisy and rattle during the night, bottle opener was filthy inside and rusted. No kettle for the coffee, or coffee supplied, probably the only hotel in Thailand where you can't have a coffee in your room when you wake up. All in all, the room was in a very poor condition. GYM - (1/2 reason I booked this hotel), decent equipment however, trying to remove the weights from the rack is a workout in itself, everything is rusted, no one ever cleaned or lubricated any machine. During the training, maintenance guy opened the paint canister and started painting the machine. I was inhaling the fumes to the point I felt dizzy, no common sense at all and air circulation is non- existing insidethe gym. Some of the staff/members bring their children age 3+ to run around and jump all over the machines without any supervision (management is either unaware or ignorant, not sure which one is worst to be honest). POOL STAFF - disgusted and disappointed. 23 days of my stay, not once they said good morning, hello or even nodded their head in acknowledgement. I sat down to order the breakfast as the lady looked at me and walked away to (closed at the time) night club (Tai-Pan) that is part of the complex, just to sit at the closed bar. I walked inside the restaurant to order the breakfast. The laziest person I have ever seen so far coming to Thailand for many years, actively avoiding any work. The same person removed my towel from the sun chair to make room for her friend. You would expect after Covid-19 they would welcome customers and business but I had a feeling they didn't want to work. They were chatting between themselves or playing with friends children rather then accommodating customers.

Disappointed

The location was near the beach

This hotel is extremely run down dirty carpets and ripped on entrance to the rooms . The rooms were not clean the 1st room had hairs on the bed the floor and on the toilet sink . I could accept a oversight in one area of the room but this just wasn’t clean the bedding is ripped in some places and extremely old .

Superb

Great place to stay in Patong in a budget. Pool area, the gym and the staff are the highlight of this place. The rooms are far from modern but functional. Close enough to Bangla road, and far enough not to hear a thing in the rooms.
