Meals and food amazing nice welcome on arrival and shown to our room by manageress
There was no notification of low ceilings or shaped walls in room. Both of us hit our heads on wall above bed numerous times. Staff in restaurant arguing with each other in front of guests very unprofessional. Did advise lady on checkout of the restaurant issue

Good location, lots of parking, good air conditioning.

Its a very good place if you have a dog and breakfast was good
We booked a twin room with disabled access, we were given a double room then when we said we booked a twin we were given a room upstairs which was not what we wanted. Staff told us it was booking .com that had not stated the room we wanted.

Everything was exceptional from the staff, the food and the facility! Will definitely stay again!
The bed mattress was noisy, not sure if the plastic cover had been removed or not. It was noisy when you sat on it or rolled over.

For us there was nothing to dislike about property.

location, value for money, great food, dog friendly, staff very nice
being a little on the old side the temperature control in the room was a little tricky and the walls are a little thin - there was a party on in the bar with many of the party goers also staying and making a lot of noise on their return to the rooms, but didn’t last long and not a big problem for us.

The village is really pretty and the view of the countryside to the front was gorgeous, especially as the sun set. Location-wise, it was just a few minutes drive into Canterbury and an ideal base from which to explore the northeastern coastline of Kent (Ramsgate, Margate etc.). The weather was quite hot during our stay so it was wonderful to return to rooms with air conditioning. The couple who run it were lovely and the cooked breakfasts were delicious, as was the evening meal we had at the pub. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the free wi-fi was great.
Nothing, we had a brilliant time and hope to return sometime!

the position for the ferry is great, it takes dogs,
there is a restaurant on site and it is clean
there is someone with a passion for paper notices
and laminates with shouty messages 3 notices for
hot water in my room etc. the keys are a disgrace with
post it notes with the room number, the bedroom
layout was a disaster - unable to sit in bed due
to a low ceiling, no bedside lights, mirror for dwarves
and too much fried food on the bar menu.
generally this made it really poor value for money

We loved everything about our stay: the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and a good choice, the bed was comfortable and the room clean and warm. We ate in the bar - chicken fajitas highly recommended! The bar, although small, had a really friendly feel with a roaring log fire. The staff were able to provide us with a pack of playing cards and we spent a very pleasant evening there. We had a peaceful night's sleep as the accommodation was separate from the bar.
There was nothing not to like
