the pool is stunning and a pleasure to come home to every night and it is so easy to get to any part of the island quickly.
Esporles has great selection of restaurants and an easy walk from the property.

Really lush experience at this place. The breakfast was really FABULOUS! Perfect setting on the sun-drenched terrace, food was top quality and really delicious, really enhanced the overall experience at this stay.
The whole area including the pool was really beautiful, plants very well taken care of, very clean with gorgeous views throughout. We loved walking through the orchards and down the plane-lined streets to the town centre of Esporles. Really enjoyed the super quiet retreat setting.
For this price, we would have appreciated if bottles of drinkable water were available upon arrival.

The hotel experience we had truly resonated with our expectations. Offering commendable value for the money, it came with delightful surprises. The highlight was certainly the immaculate and inviting pool. Although the poolside beds seemed a bit aged and firm, the sunbeds thoughtfully placed in front of our rooms made up for it with their comfort.
One could not help but appreciate the extensive greenery and diverse range of plants that transformed the hotel grounds into an inviting oasis. It imbued a heart-warming, homely feel that was further accentuated by the incredibly courteous and professional staff.
As for the rooms, they were spotless and served our needs perfectly. While basic in their amenities, they provided exactly what we were expecting. We primarily used them for restful slumbers, so the key factor of cleanliness was absolutely fulfilled.
The breakfast service, however, left a bit to be desired in terms of variety. Nonetheless, the freshness of the fruits and beverages served was truly exceptional. The selection could be improved, but it was still a pleasant start to the day.
In conclusion, our stay was genuinely enjoyable and we would not hesitate to recommend it to those seeking value and a warm, comfortable environment.

The location away from the busyness of Palma nice quiet town but hotel is a few minutes away with exceptional views, bus stop a few minutes away and shops not far. Being in the mountains was Exellent and walking out on to the balcony looking at the view did not get boring, sitting on the sun loungers watching the sun set was just incredible. Staff were amazing so friendly.
Not much really everything was as advertised and as I wanted from my time there.

Perfect base away from people with very few guests, maximum people we saw around the pool were 5. Valldemossa and other ‘west side’ towns super close. If you want white beaches make the trip east early morning and leave at midday and enjoy the pool at agriturismo, with dinner on west.
Large open property where your not bumping into people

The staff were courteous and attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
The villa we stayed in didn’t get a bed change.

Breakfast excellent. Good selection of choices on offer including a different hot dish each day. Fabulous fresh orange juice and plenty of tea and coffee provided on free flow. Lovely to have sweet cakes and fancies to finish with. Great patio and garden area allows outside eating. Very friendly and attentive staff.
The superior double bedroom was spacious and well furnished with plenty of good wooden hangers in wardrobe. Big bed was super and very comfortable. Loved having pool towels provided in room. Always perfectly cleaned on our return from breakfast. Outside terrace with loungers very attractive with lovely views. Interior decor in main building was delightful - grand Mallorcan vernacular with an Asian injection of doorway design !
Grounds surrounding property set out in orange groves and if you are lucky emough to be there when blossom out then perfume is intoxicating. They have different varieties of oranges planted which means there are umpteen blossoming times thoughout year but think spring is probably best period. Grounds lovely for walks and swimming pool is good for a refreshing dip and marvellous for countryside views from loungers. And the donkeys/mules in the field above the pool will occasionally let you know you have company and it's not so quiet and peaceful after all. Bus stop to Palma two minutes walk from bottom of lane and service very good . Good 15 minute walk into village to access restaurants ,cafes, pharmacy and shops.

Love the location but footpaths to village a bit uneven in places and can be a chore to walk up hill to restaurants especially at night when lighting isn't great. Bring a torch. Using the car to get there is a no no - absolutely no chance of a nearby parking space in centre when locals back home from work. Village lovely but not a huge selection of restaurants/cafes to eat in at night so if there for 6 to7 days you will need to travel to neighbouring villages at night for variety. This really only hit home on Mondays snd Tuesdays when many establishments are closed in Esporles and Banyalbufar and surrounding suburbs, probably because of staff shortages after Covid and low demand out of main season (July & August). Although they only do breakfast, perhaps Son Galceran could consider running a BBQ night (or a set menu meal) for residents on a Monday that you sign up for at the property by 10.00am on the day so they have some idea of numbers.
The bathroom we had was very spacious and well appointed with a shower over the bath. While it all operated very well it was not ideal to climb over into the bath to access the shower and I was quite nervous each time I got in and out.......I realise I'm 60+ abd not so agile now but think the process of climbing in and out of the bath, particularly if your partner has already been in there and it's still wet underfoot, wouldn't appeal much to younger people either. I think the bathroom had ample space to accommodate a separate walk in shower should the plumbing in such an old house allow.

The surroundings, the property, the staff
2.0
- Breakfast staff were fantastic.
- Grounds are beautiful.
- Flora is magnificent.
- Beds are dreadful. Two wooden, single hostel beds seated on tiles and nudged up against another. Rolling over sounds not unlike a sea lion convention, as the beds' wooden posts scrape, slide and shudder.
- Twice we had a garbage truck collect rubbish at 2AM. 2AM! Thundering up the drive, crunching to a halt on the gravel (literally metres from the room), its articulated arm heaving, thumping, bouncing rubbish containers until sufficiently empty. You can surely imagine the horror, being ripped from sleep to this cacophony. Hard pass.
- The beds... oh, I mentioned those already. Still, they really worthy of a second acknowledgement.
- Reception staff, even in their native language, were rather abrupt. Not unfriendly, simply not welcoming.
- Shower water pressure was clearly vetoed at the planning stage.
- Our en-suite smelled of dirty pipes.

Located in a very nice small town surrounded by beautiful hills for hiking and exploring. If you are not using a car it is on the main bus route from Palma and to the west coast. It serves excellent breakfast and staff are efficient, helpful and friendly. Plus a very good quality pool to relax and catch some sun.
There was nothing to dislike.

Spacious rooms with good facilities.
Just 10 minutes stroll from the centre of Esporles, with bus stops to Palma and other towns even closer.
Convenient location for walking on the scenic GR221 stone path through the Majorcan mountains and along the coast.

The Grounds, the privacy and the splendid Gardens and far reaching views
There Boiler had broken so had cold water!. This was rectified and so my final morning of a three night stay I had lovely warm water. However, at check out as well as giving a small bottle of premium Cava,in recognition of the inconvenience, they refunded one of my three nights and handed me 90 euro in cash.

Beautiful old house with annexed apartments, good sized rooms, quiet setting. Excellent breakfast - very attentive member of staff in charge, made us feel very welcome.
We turned up to be told that the swimming pool did not have any sunbeds next to it due to a ruling from the hotel that if you wanted a swim you needed to visit the pool and then go back to your apartment to sunbathe - due to, allegedly, Covid rules of the locality. This contradicts the experience we had a week earlier in a complex in Fornalutx just 40 minutes up the road which had no such restrictions. This could have been communicated on the website and could also have been advised when the booking was made. Also, the facilities of the main house were not open due to Covid. This is a beautiful period property and you could see through the windows and in the main lobby that it was a very grand house which would have been nice to explore and experience the lounge areas.
Whilst the property itself was really nice, it was rather in need of a little TLC, e.g. lots of weeds, unkempt borders etc. It wouldn't have taken a lot to sort out.
4.5
Fantastic setting, grounds and pool area are magnificent
The beds were a tad uncomfortable but not a problem at all
4.5
The location is stunning, over looking the mountains, it was so lovely and quiet and away from the touristy areas. Great breakfast in the morning, variety of cooked and continental breakfast, made even nicer by sitting outside amongst all the flowers and plants - very Mediterranean! Although we checked out at 11, we were able to leave our bags and use the pool until we left for the airport. We could walk into the town easily - 15 mins walk. Would recommend to have some sort of transport if you stay in Esporles as there are such beautiful, stunning views on the roads and amazing local areas.
