Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.
Not The Chase Inn's fault but getting a taxi to and from was difficult and expensive! (We were there for a wedding nearby)
4.1
Very good value. Good food and beer. We'd gone for some cycling through the Malvern Hills and it's perfectly located for that.
Bit of a mix up over breakfast, quickly sorted.

Location
Grumpy landlord but his dad is very welcoming. Tricky door lock. Shower eventually worked after fiddling with the main power switch.

People were really nice, food was excellent, place was well kept and welcoming.
Bed was a little hard.

They were really accommodating and flexible, let us check-in early so we could get to a wedding and sorted transport for us. Nice comfy bed, good breakfast.

Location v good near church, paper shop, neighbouring walks historic buildings etc
Staff on check in didn’t inform me about special guest exit via terrace so was very distressed early next morning to find myself locked in and rang number only to be told the door wouldn’t open till 8am, until by chance saw guest entering by special exit via terrace and was able to leave room for morning walk before breakfast, but a lot of distress could have been avoided just by checking in staff giving just that bit of info and emergency staff telling me on phone how guest could exit independently of pub entrance, as other pub accommodations I’d used often obvious independent entrance doors for guests to come and go outside pub hours!

At the price point, everything was great. The room was good enough, beer was fine, and typical pub food.
.breakfast was lovely, and very necessary after the aforementioned beer the night before, and our host was very kind and friendly.
Nothing at this price point - remember this isn't a £500 a night luxury stay, so don't expect eunuchs and a champagne reception!

Good location
The floors were really creaky, but then again it is an old pub. The room was cold and couldn't turn on the heating.

The room was very clean and decor and furnishings were good. En suite was new and of a high standard.
When we booked on booking.com we thought we were paying £85 for B and B for one room and £70 for a second room. It wasn't until we received a read out from booking.com that we realised each of the 4 breakfasts were an extra £9.50 - B and B therefore £104 and £89. This is not value for money. It's a pub with rooms without many of the facilities of a hotel as described.
I am 70 and have never had the price of breakfast separate in the numerous B an B where I have stayed. We declined breakfast.
We went to a Wedding at Bredenbury Barns and on our conformation sheet we were told we could book in as late as 10.00pm. However, the owner wanted us to book in before the Wedding but there was not time. He therefore wanted us to check in early evening and we had to leave the Wedding, missing some of the speeches, before driving back. Furthermore we were asked to pay in full on arrival which is something I have never experienced before.
Two or three days before arrival my wife telephoned the owner to say she suffers from ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and could she have breakfast at 9.30am as sufferers struggle first thing. The owner refused. This was another reason for declining breakfast.
