Superb

Great little unit a bit surprised to be in someone's back yard. Owner available at all times who gave great advice regarding travel times etc.. Comfy bed, good heating.

WiFi hopeless unless out on driveway, small TV with Freeview only. Just frying pan and toaster to cook with, large rangehood but no stove top, doable but limiting and some of the kitchen wear needed washing before use.

a home away from home

checked in after a long drive down to Te Anau, the man in charge was so kind and welcoming, we felt very relaxed immediately. upon entering the cottage, it felt like a home away from home, with plenty of space and comforts to make our stay even nicer. perfect for a weekend getaway, very civilized and well maintained. absolutely recommend staying here.

No provision of crockery or cutlery very small room, not a king room as advertised. Thin walls can hear people next door. front door very difficult to lock. Dusty and vanity had a lot of hair from previous guest.

Wonderful!

Very comfortable and relaxing. Close to town and eating places. Very lovely community feel about the whole place.

If I could wish for one extra thing it would be a washing machine, but that is asking for a lot!

Nice room for short stay.

Very nice room tucked at the back of the house. Deck with chairs and table outside, enclosed by fence. Very private. Owners very friendly and helpful. Fridge, tea and coffee and kettle. Could have done with a little more crockery.

The door was difficult to lock and we ended up leaving it open - not really a problem as the location felt very safe.

Not value for money.

Easy parking. Trees and garden setting, though garden could be improved.

So man things that were listed were not provided. Radio, fan, very small tv above bed did not work, but red light on all the time annoying while trying to sleep. No fly screens on windows, midges descended. Room very small, nowhere to sit to read a book and relax.

Ok location, clean but overpriced.

I was expecting to be in a cottage but the room was attached to the house, called a King Room apparently but it was a Queen Bed, so not sure why called a King Room. Apart from the small fridge, kettle and cups and saucers, there was no kitchen equipment that would allow any sort of self catering eg cutting board, plates, bowls etc.

We would stay here again, Templenoe has all the comforts of home while on holiday.

We loved how close to town center Templenoe is and the bathrobes in our room.
