lovely cosy studio with incredible room terrace and views, just a short stroll from the main part of the village, but best of all was Stella’s warmth and hospitality. we loved all the delicious cakes, olives, fruits and dishes she brought up, such nice surprises. we had the best time! thank you Stella :)

The location, a little off the main street, was ideal. The room was spacious with everything I needed - the kitchen area and shower were good and there was plenty of room for my clothes.
Stella was very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed.
I can't think of anything.

Stella was an outstanding host, very welcoming and willing to help. She provided pastries, fruit, etc.
The terrace of the 'family apartment' has a fantastic view of Kardamyli and the sea . Beautiful.
Lots of nice hiking options leaving directly from the guesthouse .
Small bathroom. No shower holder.

Stella and her grandson met me in the yard when I arrived. She showed me everything in the room, and I got the key. Then she brought me a cup of coffee and a piece of cace. Every morning she brought a can of coffee, some fruit, fresh egg and milk from her son’s farm. Ham and cheese in the refrigerator. Stella has a warm heart, and she take care of her visitors. There is a short way to walk to the village where there are lots of tavernas and shops. Beautiful view for the sunset.
If you come in car, there are not so many places to park in front of Stellas house. Just ask Stella’s son for a solution.

The host, Stella, as well as her son, Panagiotis, were absolutely wonderful! They made our stay SO special by hand delivering coffee and various treats each morning. And treating us to the finest Greek hospitality. The location is absolutely perfect - walking into town in ~5 minutes and the views are SPECTACULAR. Can't say enough great things about this place!

Nice breakfast consisting of coffee and milk, fruit juice, ham and cheese, bread, toast, home made cakes, big quantities of fresh fruit, butter and jam. Our host, Stella, was very generous and friendly and always went out of her way to be helpful. This more than made up for the old fashioned shower.
The shower is not good. Very small flow and has to be hand held

Stella and her son who both look after the guest house are incredibly kind people. I felt very welcome throughout and was often given lovely gifts of homeade food, fruit, etc. As I was there for a couple of weeks I was moved to a room with a lovely view and balcony towards the sea. It is simple, but had everything I needed to feel comfortable, was good value, and I felt a bit of a home away from home. The location is also very convenient. I was able to cook for myself some, which allowed me to have some very good meals out when I wished to.
The room could have a bit more decoration to feel more homely, though the bed was comfortable which is very important.

Generous, friendly and organized hosts, comfortable sofa and beds, nice garden and balconies, good kitchen, great location. Nice welcoming atmosphere overall.
The person who lives in the adjacent room (seemed to be family, not another guest) turned on a bright light outside, talked and moved chairs around in the wee hours. And the toilet made really loud sounds at several random times, also in the wee hours. Probably neither things are the host's fault. But we didn't sleep well.

The hosts were wonderful. So helpful and warm. Stella and Panagiotis brought lovely things almost every day - fresh fruit and Greek treats! We loved the location.
The kitchen was idiosyncratic! But with so many great restaurants close by we didn't cook often.

The apartment was at the top of the house and had plenty of space - a well equipped kitchen and a fabulous huge terrace with great views. Getting to the apartment is slightly unorthodox though!
Stella was a brilliant host and despite the language barrier (she only speaks Greek) we managed to communicate pretty well! 😁. The fridge was stocked with cheese, ham bread and eggs when we arrived and Stella did a load of washing for us at the end (as we are on long road trip and were running short of clean clothes!) which we hugely appreciated.
Situated just less than a 5 minute walk from Kardamyli centre - a great location.
Because the apartment is at the top of the house there are lots of slopey ceilings so if you're tall you need to mind your head! It didnt really bother us too much as we didn't spend too much time indoors.

The property is 300 m from the center of the town with beautiful view to the sea! I just loved the view! It's very clean and quiet. You have everything what you need for a perfect holiday. I got welcoming food it was very delicious! Peter was very helpful , he helped me in everything! Very good communication. If I go to Kardamyli again ,I would definitely try to book with Stella's room.
Everything was perfect.

The friendliness of Stella, the nearness to the village, and the accessibility.
We booked single beds, but when we came we got a double, so Stella had to give us another room, which was a bit smaller. The kitchen had no hot water, we had to prepare it with the kettle. Stella's son said that it's Booking.com's mistake about not preparing a room with 2 single beds, they weren't given the information. So I asked myself now, am I to blame at the end?

Stella was so friendly and her hospitality was amazing. The room was so clean and comfortable. Stella brought us fresh food and welcomed us with food. What a wonderful family. Location is excellent too. Within 5 mins walk to Taverns and shops and a super market close by. Very much recommended.

Lovely touch that Ms Stella left some fruits and breakfast for us in the fridge. She was very polite and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.
Awkward parking spot. Getting the car in and out required quite some manipulation skills.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Stella rooms, got a free upgrade to the top floor apartment with a fantastic view of the sea. Peter was very welcoming, and his mother stocked the fridge with many local produces :)

Every evening there was a view with wonderful sunset. In the morning Stella woke me up with breakfast that she had prepared. There was a watercooker so I could make tea myself. In the evening Stella came up with a vegetarian dish that I had not order, but came as a welcome surprise. Kardamyli is very charming
A chair in the room would make it even more comfortable

This was the perfect place to escape from it all. We originally booked 10 days but we loved it so much we stayed for three weeks. Stunning views over the Messinian Gulf in one direction and the Taygetos Mountains in the other. Stella was the perfect host, and made sure we were comfortable and treated us to a range of Greek delights (wild honey, fresh fruit and veg, pancakes, davos - a greek breakfast of bread, tomatoes, feta and local olive oil). The village of Kardymili is quiet with a range of excellent bars, tavernas and restaurants, and everywhere felt safe. Stella's place is a couple of minutes walk from the main road and five minutes from the marina (where you dive into the clear blue waters for a dip) so away from any traffic noise but close to all the fun. The flat is small with fairly low ceilings (watch out for your head if you are tall!) but perfectly well equipped and comfortable for two. The roof terrace is the real draw - you'd struggle to find better views anywhere else in town. About a 45 minute drive from Kalamata airport (taxi costs around 60-70 euros). Also a good spot for reaching other areas of the Mani (Limeni is about an hour away) and a good bus service if you are making your own way.
Honestly, this was place was a dream. If you don't like greek hospitality and sea views, then perhaps this isn't the place for you.
