Great place and house, standing in the water
at the end of the stay, the staff of the next morning did not get the information that we had payed already everything...and it took another hour to get the confirmation by her colleague...which was annoying at departure..

View was great
I did expect coffee, tea, water to have been provided, especially for the first day.
There were no instructions re turning on heater, also the heater kept “tripping “ the electricity,
But: when we contacted the owner she was very prompt in answering/helping us with our queries
Beds very comfortable, private parking, and a great restaurant a few doors down.
Tea/coffee for the first day of arrival,
More sturdy chairs for outside
The toilet seat is loose!!!

The Palafito was in a beautiful location and has so much potential. If the staff were contactable and did some maintenance this would be an amazing place to stay.
We messaged this host to advise our arrival time and get check in instructions. There is a lockbox on the door and no reception so instructions would be very helpful. We had to phone three different mobile numbers and then were let in. This was the last we heard from the host. The hot water didn’t work and we tried to calling/messaging them on the first day of our three night stay. They were not contactable and we had no hot water. This property is beautiful and just needs some basic maintenance.

convenient location, liked the kitchen and pellet stove to warm up after a wet hike at the National Park.
very little hot water so difficult to shower

We loved our apartment. It was neat and tidy and had everything we needed. It was nice to relax on the patio. It was nice to take a separate bedroom for a break from being all in one space with our teen.
Would have liked a couch by the fire.

Amazing place.
Daytime street carpark is a struggle ... night time no problem.

getting to stay in an actual palafito during our stay in Castro added to our visit to Chiloé. the apartamento was clean and had all the amenities needed to make our stay enjoyable. the terrace on the water made it memorable
the hammering going on in the palafito next store. eventually we got used to it.

Great location, near of good restaurants and the casino.
Fireplace to keep warm the apartment.
It was not the cleanest apartment. There were spiderwebs and dust on the walls, also the floor was not moped.

The location of this place was great. The room had an incredible view and was very spacious and comfortable.
The pellet heater stopped working in the night twice and our room became quite cold. The staff did come quickly to fix it.

Great view, excellent facilities with a lovely stove that kept us toasty warm. Parking is limited, so book it in advance, we didn´t, but we were lucky and the staff solved the problem

Incredible view from the terrace to the bay with sea birds resting near the water. The apartment is very clean. Big enough for a family of 4. The kitchen has everything you need. Hot water supply effect and the oven of wood pellets supplies warmth during the night. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great view on the bay, little kitchen with all you need, an oven and all this in a lovely neighbourhood. There was a little problem when paying for our stay (taxes), which was solved very fast and pragmatic by the staff!
Nothing :)

The view was exceptional. The apartment was very comfy, well equipped and properly heated when necessary. Regarding location, it was somewhat close to downtown Castro and with an easy access to the main road to the South of the Island.
Though the view was exceptional, it came with a price: the windows for the main room had no curtains, and the light and heat from the morning sun on sunny days were really annoying

The view is perfect

The property has a small balcony which is a sun trap in the morning. The check in was easy and the staff were very friendly.
The bed is not very comfortable.
